Status of Unannounced Changes: Intended or Not?

This game implemented FC and hypers. so it has become part of the community its now part of PWI.. and such big changes in a game are not suppose to be happening un-annouced. i see it as a thing that the community self has to vote for. yes or no.
Thats my issue., and thats kinda most ppl's issue if you read the topic of this thread.
That was done at the request of PWE in order to push the power creep and feed their wallets. It is singular to our version of the game and has been proven many times to cause a serious imbalance.
I imagine it might also be marketed towards today's children's sense of instant gratification. I mean seriously, they are completely **** up games that could be good by making it so you can't possibly fail, just to appease stupid children.
(And if I have insulted anyone with that last statement, get over it. You're part of the problem.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Some people get R93 and become another cookiecutter DD, other people get R93 and get called out as serious threats. At some point, it's just not about gear anymore. - Qui

FC hypers makes you unable to fail.
FC hyper makes fail players.
Take your pick, I have now seen you say both. They can't both be true.0 -

How does one fail at leveling when the only thing they have to do is double click a head. And how does attacking a one shot mob that many kill without even using the weapon meant for their class (thus disabling most if not all of their skills) in anyway teach them how to play said class. They very easily both can be true.0 -

Yea, like classes are really hard to be learned by anyone playing pwi for more than 1 month and the game is getting a lot of new players
i'm willing to bet that if i get someone with autism give him to play a bm for 1 month and after that give him a wiz, the next day won't fail at it. b:bye0 -

Maybe you should spend more time learning the game. You CANNOT fail at lvling in this game. Too many safe guards + you cannot de-level from dying too much. No posible way to fail at leveling, all you can do is lvl slower.0 -

Nothing I said indicated any knowledge or lack thereof of game play. Unless you deliberately twist my words to make it seem as though I'm under the impression you can de-level. If you're so bent on attacking others, at least have your claims make sense. Regardless It's still illogical to claim that those statements contradicted each other.
As for failing at leveling, as seen by this thread, there are many people would quit if there leveling was slower. . And while you may not be able to fail at leveling in general, you most certainly can fail to complete say a BH. You can certainly fail to kill a solo boss, ask what you did wrong, and then go back and try again. You can die over and over and not make back the exp, figure out why you're getting thrashed, and fix it. People did all the time. Before the guides, a lot of people were putting stat points in illogically things and getting their butts handed to them. Then had to make new characters to fix that problem. I'm certain that still happens if your leveling depends on your skill as an individual player. FC doesn't require that. You can't even run it with same levels until the level requested by many in the poll thread.
Short of d/c or getting scammed, you cannot fail to kill the heads or have the heads killed for you. No matter how badly you play. If you can equip a bow or a genie, you can kill the heads. You cannot fail to completely out level and out pace all new comers who can't afford to FC or don't want to immediately be high level either.
Human beings learn by practice. People who don't have as much practice at a given skill are less likely to be masterful than people who have had practice. Saying it's illogical to claim to that something that makes it so you get the same reward without any practice is going to produce more people that aren't masterful than a method that does make you practice, is not a contradictory statement.0 -

As I said before, you cannot fail at leveling. Sometimes I think you people say anything just to have something negative to say. This argument about failing at leveling hits that point right on the head. If it isn't showing not knowing the game IDK what is.
Either way. GS, Res buff, Res skill etc... you cannot fail at leveling. AND just an FYI, heads never attack back so no you cannot fail to kill a head in FC aside from MISSING your shot. At no time ever is killing heads in FC a skill you need to learn....How does one fail at leveling when the only thing they have to do is double click a head. And how does attacking a one shot mob that many kill without even using the weapon meant for their class (thus disabling most if not all of their skills) in anyway teach them how to play said class. Bow is not meant for any class, it has no requisite. Slingshot on the other hand.....
Seriously, make better arguments.
ETA: Bow does have requisites... every class is named for it except seeker/mystic. Those came into game after adding the requisites a couple years ago. Before that, they had none listed.0 -

I know the changes were not listed in the patch notes, but the devs+team have decided to leave FC as is, and not change it back to allowing hypers.
As for Earning Limits, the UI is being made and will be implemented in the next patch or two. So along with FC, this change is staying as well.
I'm sure there is more, and I will update this thread if that is the case.
It looks like all the issues I raised have been addressed. Feel free to close this and let's continue the discussion in the provided sticky: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1712971
