    R9 i bound... but not actually "bound"...

    If you want to use a bound orb on non-trade equips like R9, a binding charm is less than one gold.

    To clear any confusion:

    - It is 1 time per account, so spending say 100, will not get you two.

    - The wording wasn't exactly the best, so I've corrected it. All you need to do is spend 50 and you get one.

    - As for tradeable/non-tradeable, I'll have to double check, but I can safely assume it'll be non-tradeable.

    Does the gold have to be spent in the boutique? Or would i be able to just sell in auction house and still be able to get the orb.

    If its sais spend, you need to spend it.

    If it sais charge, you need to deposit and you can sell on AH.
    Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

    wonder when it stats. some promotions would start at 11 am PST for example.

    guess we all buy 50 gold and dont spend it until tomorrow :)

    Spend rewards are always gold spent in boutique, not gold charged and sold in auction house. You can buy gold from AH and spend in boutique to get the rewards too, don't have to charge it.

    Funny it is this exact "promotion" that sent gold flying 300k more than it already was with sell at max and buy at 3.75m each.

    Yes PWI is all about "fixing" the economy. Might I say again the reason economy is in the toilet is because PWI creates more value in buying gold with coins than buying items from players with coins. Everyone is shoving all they have into the gold market. The economy between players is in the toilet and gold prices continue to rise. Can't wait for the next MoG sale b:shutup

    So now instead of spending my 200m upgrading my r9 ring, I'll be feeding into the gold market. And there isn't even anything else "good" on sale for me.

    How long does it take to get the orb? I've been waiting for mine for quite a bit now b:surrender. I remember last time with the rings and demon/sage event cards i got mail instantly.

    Tell that to his boss who provided the screenshot when sparkie asked because sparkie himself didn't know if it would be that version or a normal Ocean orb until receiving said screenshot. b:chuckle


    Besides, the PWDB link doesn't state the restrictions (untradable, can be stashed, only usable on bound equipment) and if a person hasn't had one of those ocean orb tickets before, just seeing the PWDB link wouldn't answer their questions about the orb itself.

    Can be used on G16 and below. Since we don't have any G17 gear, it means it can be used on anything as long as it's bound and can be refined.

    Only if the merchants in question are stupid. I personally buy all my gold on my main account for this reason, not a single promo item goes to waste cause its on some alt I dont use for more than catshopping.

    It seems PWI has learned from past mistakes. At least this way its account bound, can only be used on bound gear, and you can only get one of them per account.
