imo it should just be like same rules as the OLD PWIC tournament held
Not Allowed to:
*get buffss outside squad
*stealth more than a certain amount of time
*once u die u are ported out of the instance( this how it was during the event)
* i agree w/ the comments above. Buffs from people outside squad shouldnt be allowed, and apoth buffs shouldnt be allowed either. Theres a reason why we picked our squad members.

Spirit of defense should be allowed of course, it's part of the game, if we're going to make rules that should and shouldn't be allowed everyone can come up with something that will benefit them. It's like saying sins aren't allowed to use tidal, clerics cant use sog, no one can use IG's.
Defense apo are an important part of pvp, since now half the classes can purge with decent consistency. (not talking about genie).
The defense apo, as suggested should be allowed to be used once the fight starts, prior to that squad buffs only.
Not sure why this is even an issue, it's part of the game, you can't deny it.0 -

This makes sense to me, you are using your apoth cooldown for buffs rather than an immunity pot. I was more curious about using it prior to the fight, which yeah, should not be allowed.0 -

Not being able to use spirit of defense is no where in the area of sins not being allowed to use tidal and clerics not being able to use sog. Those are skills that comes with the character (after learning). Spirit of defense is just a op pot that gives you hp buff, bm buff, and ep buffs in 1 click. Know how op that is for sins or any other op class that can tank for days with buffs without the help of using ig/sutra/dew/ect...? It's ridiculous and can really change the odds of the fight, even if the other team have someone that's able to purge. Not to mention how easy it is to dodge being purged. So as you can see, it would be a BIG issue in a fight and disabling spirit of defense pots would just make the fights more balanced (not saying they will or won't be) since you can only use the buffs from the people in your squad.0 -

Agreed. I wouldn't mind other pots being allowed - dew/Ig/etc, but buff pots seem too unfair in a pk tournament such as this :S[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

In my opinion spirit of defense shouldn't be allowed.
The reason is because those pots are going to allow and benefit pure dd squads. We could have teams such as 2 sins, 1 archer, 1 psy and 1 wizard, and they would be fully buffed.
Since the beginning it was said that only buffs from party would be allowed, and if those pots are allowed it would be like if someone received buffs from outside.
Not allowing spirit of defense would also help to counter the class imbalance we have. For example assassins are really hard to debuff, and with buffs they are both very tanky and deadly. Most agree that the game doesn't look so bad when all classes come into play, and those pots only allow the OP classes to bypass that check.
Yes, those pots are part of the game, unfortunately, but they only make class and gear imbalance even worse, and therefore its use should be forbidden.

Pewpew the silly fishies right after they buff, force their genie, drop them the moment it's gone. Can't stealth because we have multiple 105 Historics. Rest of their squad has buffs but apo will still be on cd while the fight turned into a 4v5 because they had to use their apo cooldown on buffs rather than something defensive.

Look, I'm not speaking, forming opinions, or making suggestions based on what my squad will benefit most from, I'm truly trying to be as unbiased as possible.
It was also changed to a 5v5 with no restrictions, I'd hate to see restrictions start being added now.
Though I do have three comments to make:
1) I would like to see squads ported in without buffs, as in, not being able to get base buffs, bramble, all that, and fighting with that.
2) When being ported in, perhaps allow 30 seconds for full chi, but not allow squads to use spirit of defense AND have their apoth cooldown off by the time the fight starts. (or just port in removing buffs, keeping chi, giving full chi, something to this effect. I'm not sure what is possible and what is not)
3) As for the tie-breaker after a 15 minute bout of 5v5.... a 1v1 can go on MUCH longer than a 5v5 ever could. My suggestion? Either removing the time limit, extending it further, or spawning something similar to fires in nirvana, red balls in Cube room 57 (or was it 58?) or something like that. A tie-breaker is supposed to be sudden-death and fast, a 1v1 won't be.0 -
