Well actually, there was one in particular I did not like because the person always had a chip on their shoulder in every topic but didn't do anything unethical.

Reading a few of the past posts and noticing that my post was CLEARLY deleted for silly reasons i will reiterate what has been said in my own words. Sparkie is saying he wont try to censor forums....something we all know already has and is done on a day to day basis. We at times have to be very careful of what we say or how we say it or how we word every little thing cuz if it doesnt please a mod or gm there is sure to be a deletion of something somewhere...and at times it has been quiet with no words said. Any actual change to forum rules being made should be directed and updated via the forum rules thread. As Miugre stated giving mods more freedom to block or ban what they want can be a bad thing (not that it will be per say) but CAN be. Using forums is pretty much the ONLY way to talk to other players and to try and get what we want out of the GMs from this game anymore. Limiting further what we can say or do (or what will be prevented from us saying) will only hinder that communication even more.

As long as this game is online, I will play. yes I am r999 but only +6. I farmed my R999 and if r10 comes out, I will be a very powerfull PVE toon again rather than pvp. Hense living on a pve server. fun huh. I wish they would bring back more events like assult on arch, and meet the GM's. I wish they would have GM's online with us taking note of hey, I am getting stuck in this crack in FSP because of blah blah and actually fix the game. Also, you came up with NW, I think u should really remove old instances or just revampt them, update the rewards make the bosses harder. something for PVE to keep mind occupied. Be nice to have more PVP events too. And BH rewards, Give me more bag slots to hold all that grap so I can turn them in will u. LOL. Seriously. I need 9 open slots to turn in a BH1. I am sure you have heard all this before but, u still haven't done it. Still we play. BTW, to control gold prices, make all of PWI have an earning time. you know what I mean. 3mil for 1 gold. outrageous. TY.

Lol @ the people saying mods will abuse their power. The reason these forums are so dead isn't the mods. I actually believe the mods could make it a better place by removing so much so of the hostilty that's hanging out around here now.


As for FCC... remember the poll. Remember how many people were against your suggestion. Don't you ****ing dare to say the majority of people was in favor of your idea. Go with the times, it's too late to change the game back to what it was. Way too late.

3m is cheap! try 3.4m+ on Morai, ive seen it as high as 3.8m! 29k for a token, 18m for hp charm b:cry

The occasional/non serious player doesnt have a hope in hell. The biggest coin gain prob for us was farming DQ but that got killed. I know it still delivers a coin return to an extent, and event on Archo can give decent returns but event gold was handy too b:victory

@ Sparkle - I like the idea of the update thread, hopefully it includes why things have been done/changed. Why was DQ done away with? was an new alternative always forthcoming or have you just been caught with the backlash hoping removing DQ wouldnt have raised that much of an eyebrow like Token shop, core connect etc. Didn't it fit in with ARC or something?

I think if you explain properly why something is being/was done, alternatives if possible, and keep ppl in the loop then they will respect the comapny more.

When is 2x being switched on again, it feels like its been a while and i think its due b:laugh

It wasn't just Fuzzy, either. If we go wayyyy back to the day of Shelly, one would see that there were numerous threads closed and moved daily that didm't warrant it.

It's completely logical that this happens, since we are all human and mistakes are common. -removed- Lol, I'm pretty sure being a pessimist isn't against any rules of the forums, though.

I think the mods we have now are better.

There is no fail safe way to have a moderators decision to delete or remove a post or close a thread that i can find. I have been looking for one but it seems there is no way to get a GM to intervene when a person feels a Moderator is acting improper....so any change to what a moderator can and cant do should also include a way to get intervention in case a person on forums feels they are being unjustly targeted by a Mod for censorship.

As for the monthly update. this is not new. in fact sparkie all you posted is just regurgitation of the previous fill in CM.

Where is the r93 dagger skin texture that is missing and was supposed to be brought in? this is just an example of many things that said were going to be done and fixed and werent. its not by far the most necc to get fixed as there is lots of others thing more important (to others i guess) but really how long, a year or 2? without actually action on your part, more forum posts by a CM mean nothing. which is exactly all you guys have done except one.

@TZoner, there are ways to "get intervention from people who are not mods," which include pm's and tickets if you choose to do so.

The majority of people in the poll and in the thread were in favor of a level restriction. In addition, player engagement with older content went up when FC was shutdown. Player engagement with older content went up as well. Because suddenly the other content was the best method of leveling. Per these results, V4liance was looking into testing the change out on purpose and possibly making it permanent based on those two facts. But he never got the chance to see that through. Since then that project has been kind of left in the dust and the momentum for a change has been lost. But yes, 63.91 percent of the playerbase that voted, voted in favor of either level limiting hypering in FC or removing the ability to hyper in there altogether. With the majority (54.05) voting to have it level limited. While that means the majority of the playerbase does want FC restricted, the people who do not want it to be are not a small or inconsequential number of players by any means. They make up a very large minority on the issue and opinions are pretty divided.

If you feel a mod has been acting improperly, you can contact the CM. Much better avenue than sending a ticket although both are technically acceptable.

When PWI needs more mods, they put out a thread asking for player volunteers. ATM the forums are their usual lull this time of year. In addition there was a dip in players posting after back to back exodus from forums and/or in-game because of arc and the orb problem, so it is unlikely that we'll get more mods right now. That being said, that's completely up to Sparkie and he could ask for more mods anytime he pleases. As well as strip mods of their mod powers at any time.

I don't see how the people who want it are doing anything wrong by asking the CM to look into an issue the previous CM was already investigating after it was voted on by the players. The majority of the people poll did respond positively toward that change. And just because they ask him to look into it, doesn't mean any change will happen. It's just a request for next month's update on issues to look into. *shrug* Personally, I want to know about what's replacing the DQ system more. I'm hoping that whatever is in the new system at the very least continues to carry do-alls, event gold, and dyes. As well as some all-class pet or exclusive mount for those of us who used to like having it. Something that isn't able to botted and isn't handed out again in lucid. I used to really like my pillar pet because it showed off I had farmed quite a few DQ, but then it became handed out all the time in Lucid. >> And now thanks to the bots none of the rewards are special anymore. what makes you think that this lvl restricting FF and or hypers will be instantly added? Why is it you have to qq about high level noobs? Just don't squad them.

As for restricting FC either in terms of level or hypers, imo it's far, far too late to bother with that. Doing anything about it now would just further discourage new players, and what with everything else that is a factor in that atm, adding another reason for new/casual players not to stay would not be sensible.
