    So let me get this straight.

    People on ANY SERVER who managed to get the orbs legitimately are keeping theirs, people who abused on ANY SERVER will be 'banned' only people who missed out on it on ARCHOSAUR server will be able to get the orbs?

    So, people who were playing the game during the period in time that the code was active but didn't get the chance to use the code because it was abused before they got there have missed out on being able to refine end game gear, free charms (multiple because of the event gold) and the other goodies in the packs? Doesn't really sound like a decent compensation package for this mess that has been created.

    Why not send 3 packs to each account that has logged in during a period of time via the in game mail system? The packs could be account stashable but not tradeable. Or is this too simple a solution?

    it is really funny that some ppl try to get the 3 +10 orb daily. trying to avoid people notice that they get more than 3 :)

    anyway to others that complaint of the complaints, maybe u should see that this is the first time people see on their own eyes that people abuse the code. I mean, PWI always give red spam on people that getting orbs. this is never happen before, even they not announce people acquire dreamchaser packs. hehe

    As was my ticket, but I don't take that as they don't care, at least not yet. I take it as we have their attention that they needed to get someone to do a mass purge of the tickets. This is not something support staff would do on their own without a higher up making that decision.

    and for the record yes i've gotten all codes and orbs but even if i didn't it's not the end of the world it's a game your suppose to have fun!!

    Ban abusers, thats all PWI must do, no matter how cashshopper he/she is (1 quit, 2 or 3 comes, not a big difference)..then start giving the complete compensation to the many many people who really deserve it.

    This is just about what i think its going to happen: The PWE account and financial departments will perform an exhaustive scan of all the accounts involved in the code abuse issue. Once they have detected who the abusers are they will divide them into 2 groups: The Play for free Accounts (PFF) and the Pay to Play Accounts (PTP).

    Those infractors who belong to the PTP will be banned temporary, while those who belong to the PFF group could or will be banned permanently as an example for future infractors, and at the same time to calm down the mass.

    We have to understand that this game is not only for amusement but in certain cases is even a way of living for many of us. But for them, the PWE staff, its only business, and they see it as business; and thats how they will see it when they have to consider the idea of cutting heads off and make an example of those infractors.

    What is the punishment for players who blatantly abused the compensation code?

    They will be banned.

    No, I was confused about this when I heard about it. The customer service representatives were mis-informed on the punishment issue, and we're making sure everyone is now on the same page. We're banning players who abused the code no matter the server they are from.

    What about the "targeted" compensation efforts for Archosaur only? Is that still happening?

    Yes. We are getting everything set up now and verifying that it will go smoothly before we start sending in-game items to players on Archosaur. You can expect yours within the week.

    Why is it Archosaur only now, and not all servers, as it was initially, when I missed my chance at the code?

    First and foremost, Archosaur players were the ones we've wanted to make sure were compensated for the rollback, to the best of our ability. It was because of the rollback that we started focusing on a compensation campaign. We have 5x EXP going on for Archosaur, something we've never done before, as well as 2x EXP/SP/Drops AND Coin for all servers (also new).

    Players on Archosaur now have the opportunity to gain more experience, spirit, drops, etc than they could have during the 3 days lost from the rollback, as these modifiers will be lasting into the next month. All servers were included in this decision because we wanted everyone to feel compensated for November's server connectivity issues as a whole.

    (The initial compensation code for 5x HyperEXP Stones is now available for everyone: 3HTYJKE)

    Following these initial actions, we still thought that for a rollback, our actions were not great enough. Many players lost refinement and thus power during the rollback, and so giving more exp/sp/drops/coins if you play wouldn't resolve their complaint.

    Thus we came up with the compensation code that we all now are aware of.
    Unfortunately, because of it's abuse we've had to cancel the cross-server compensation and refocus back on the initial goal of compensating Archosaur Rollback players.

    Is there anything I can receive right now?

    We've re-activated the initial compensation code that gives out 5x Hyper EXP Stones to players. It can be used once per account until NOVEMBER 30th

    UPDATE (11.22.13):
    Here is what I was able to get:

    - We will not be rolling back the servers.

    - A highly focused and targeted Archosaur-specific compensation effort will be enacted.

    - We will be punishing legitimate abusers of the compensation code who received far more than is possible from redemption page lag. We will be doing so in a detailed, focused manner which will make progress on punishments slower but more precise. So do not worry if you are one who got more orbs unintentionally. We do not want to penalize those who did not intend abuse of the system.

    Regarding the level of abuse, from the data in front of us, it was not quite as widespread as many believe. It was mostly a few dozen or so who abused the code from means other than lag/timeouts. The perception of it being widespread is due to the unintentional in-game message spam distorting the situation, and nonfactual boasts in the forums or world chat.

    This is the reason why there will not be a rollback.

    Banning everyone that did it is unfair. In my case i pressed the button alot was I trying to cheat the system no could i do without all of it yes.


    So unfair but what do i care in the long run there are alot more games out there that dont make mistakes like this.

    Indeed it is... which is why the first post state they're not banning everyone who got more orbs than intended. Just the ones who intentionally abused the system beyond what the page lagging could have caused and that the bans issued will be on a case by case basis.

    I did read that part but things change in the thread from one page to the next. I dont understand in all of that what fits under that?

    They will be banned. Whether permanently or temporarily will be determined on a case by case basis. I cannot give any further details than that at this time.

    It would be stupid for GM's and PWI to ban people for abusing the code. You will be banning more then 50% of your business. Is that really best for business? The code shouldve been sent Via Email and not put on Forum to begin with and there shouldve been a limit on it. Or a warning attached that if you abuse this code you will be banned. That wouldve scared them and had them not want to abuse the code.

    On web pages, most people will click the button until something happens, because well, something is supposed to happen. If nothing happens for 10 seconds or so people will click again. Pretty much everyone does this. Because the page was so lagged it took a long time for an acknowledgement to show up, and by pressing it again and again caused some people to get multiple packs without receiving the acknowledgement, thus receiving more then 1 pack by accident.

    What PWI should have done was to have coded in the line of code to disable the button when it was clicked.

    honestly i pressed it alot because it was not working so i pressed it more to speed it up then boom like 20 orbs in my mail box

    I know for a fact that this happened to others to.

    I clicked on redemption page cuz it was not loading, went in game, got no mail, still click on redemption page again, went to check mail, got nothing so I tried one more time.

    Ended up getting 46+ orbs and a bunch of other stuff.

    Did not mean to get so much I will send in a ticket stating what I did and it's unfair if I get punished because none of it was intentional. Should not get banned be cause it was ur page that glitch out not my fault.
