Colum - Raging Tide

Epic fail BH 69 is epic fail.

We started out with 2 clerics - my lvl 85 one with 3k HP and my friend with 2,4k HP.
We also got 2 psys - lvl 89 and 84. Our tank was supposed to be 8x sin with 4,5k HP and godly gear, we also had BM lvl 88.

BM, psys and clerics all knew what to know. Sin had good gear but didn't seem to understand everything. At pyro she got rather pissed when psys played aggro ping pong under BB.

Other thing.. She had zeal with a possibility to have 6 skills. She had 4, none of them was earthflame. Good luck in pulling, eh? Luckily our other cleric gave some p. stones to BM who had zeal out of food.

Sin thought she is supposed to have white voodoo and then cries to psys to give it to her. Eh..

Well, at nob BM went to lure. First time other cleric mistakenly purifies him while he is luring, heal aggro steps in and both die. I go res. BM goes to lure again. We wait, cleric spamheals sin who doesn't go grab aggro fast enough and BM dies. Sin dies, psys die, even we clerics die though I found my way to the pool. Other cleric resses, revives us and we tell sin to get aggro immediately and retry. This time we somehow luckily managed it.

We were too afraid to try pole so I put my cleric off and tanked pole on barb.

FaIIyn - Lost City

Went on a BH snake that had no cleric. Barb pulls entire pav everyone but me dies. I tank entire pav solo which was painful due to all the seals. I relog onto cleric for snake and watch 20 minutes of everyone getting 1 shot as they come back in. Boss at 300k hp...I tell everyone to stay back and I will drop bubble and kill it by myself. Right before it dies 3 of the idiots come running in and get 1 shot again and dont get credit. They rage at me for killing it before they got back. I told them that is their problem because I told them to stay the hell back and they didnt listen.

Ran a BH79 today.

I could leave it at that.

But no.

I see a WC, basically someone looking for a sin/bm for 79. I'm on my sin with nothing much to do so I join the squad, thinking they really only need BP for a seeker or a barb or something.
Nope.

The squad was such: a cleric, a mystic, and a psy. The mystic DCs before I make it into the instance. The cleric gives me lead after buffing and asks what I'm going to do. "Clear, I guess."

So, unwined (mystic had the wine and I wasn't about to wine it when I can just clear the darn thing. The sin's 100), we do the entire dungeon. My charm ticks like mad because the cleric barely heals. She was mainly DDing. b:surrender

I believe the only time she BB'd was on the last boss pair. I was tempted to kick her but resisted. I wanted to see how far they would go with me unwined.

It was fun, truth be told.

I was with cleric in 69 and we got such a noob barb who spoke russian for pole and nob.

We SOMEHOW survived nob - he left lagging around the boss when pulling and got his HP on half when he came back. I purified and started to IH and no, he runs past me and nob aggroes me, I'm safe awhile with charm as barb goes and finally grabs the aggro.

At pole he first somehow grabbed a mob and then pole right after. I try to save him but he dies. I have no time to go in middle of pool and I die as well.
I go back, res him and tell him to pull normally. Both last times he had under half HP left when he came back with boss. This time he somehow managed it but he was using blood bath and calamity axes - had no fun time trying to keep him alive. Barb keeps offering for a lvl 92 cleric, I refuse. We managed to do pole somehow.

Uhhhhhhhhhh.... Boring thread, I stopped reading after this QQ post. You guys must be failing hard to QQ about BH51, 59 and 69 squads over and over. Funny you call me a fail player when I have no problems ingame but you QQ about BH69? Hilarious to bring a 100+ char that can solo the cave without buffs at all.

To anyone that posted or will post about BH79 QQ:
If I heard any QQ about about squads in 79, please quit the game, because that is easily soloed by level 80s even, don't bother blaming the squad for your failure.

Maybe you should take your own advice and stop attacking specific people. Because "Xainou and truekossy are losers," is talking about someone. "this one barb..." could be anyone. It's just relating a bad experience. And if you've never had a bad experience, it's either because you play alone. Or you're the problem. Everyone else has them.


And you're both playing on a video game and posting on it's forums. So either that is no proof of what kind of real life someone has, or you're both losers. Take your pick.

Wow, really? I never had a level 100 toon, or 90 for that matter because I work literally 14 hours a day and barely play the game. I am sitting in +8 HA gear from my alt that farms (not a sin) and getting there to get my wiz up with +8 arcane gear too. I solo in 80s, this game is designed for people with level 80 gear.... Above that is not even necessary.

So you expect other people to have +8 gear when they are going to +8 when they get to 100? And have more time than you and different leveling goals than you? Guess what buddy, most of us work. And your gear is the equivalent of a 100+ coming in tt99/rank 8 unrefined and one shotting everything, IJS. It's not impressive that once you pass the OP refinement level, your character is OP and easily able to do all the dungeons without a group. That's just simple game mechanics. It's nothing to brag about.

If you can't figure out why all these people are complaining though, it does show you have the Rank 9 mentality. In where you no longer are able to tell what's hard or not because you're gear is vastly overpowered for the dungeon. You probably wouldn't even know what to do if you weren't wearing that gear either, if you can't figure out why the posts you quoted were examples of other people causing problems for the squad. Because people were listing obvious problems.

Level 100s should already have +8 gear or better or they should just delete their characters because that is not acceptable, it is not hard to refine to +8 with tisha/tien/mirages. Not knowing how to refine properly and you're at endgame is a real pathetic joke, may as well stay under level 80 or something. There is such thing as DQ points...

Edit: It is easy to avoid these problems from other idiots, and no gear is required to do so either. Lots of ways to. For example, observe and negotiate with the players before. If you see a 100 in a lower level squad, look at their gears and if you see unacceptable gear, kick them if you're lead or leave squad. Simple as that.

My daggers are at +6 and I've used the proper tisha/tienkang/mirage order since I've started refining them. I've spent about 400 DQ points on them. It also comes down to individual luck. And no, that shouldn't be the standard. In the amount of time you've spent farming dq points for level 80 gear, you could probably have already been level 100. Which gives you access to much more money making opportunities and which in turn makes it easier to get sage/demon event cards as well. But those things take time and there are still better investments of your time. Instead of +8ing ****, why not use that time and get gear that is actually decent. And guess what the reason you can solo with +8 on TT 80 gold or whatever else you have is because that instance isn't designed for that standard of gear. That instance is meant to be a challenge and the only ones who are getting that challenge are the people who are at +3. If it was designed by your ridiculous standards, it would be hard for you.

It shouldn't be the standard to have gear that can solo the dungeon. You might feel that way but the vast majority realizes that it's much better to spend your time working on good gear and then refining than to spend all your time refining temporary gear until you get the gear you actually want. Having different priorities than you doesn't make them a fail and there is a reason your priority is so rare. It's because it's unrealistic, unreasonable, and not very productive.

not sure if it is weird, but i just ran a BH59 with 2 sins 7x(one was tanking somehow) myself(an HA hammer human form fox veno 67) and two clerics.

Yeah because no one ever thought about that, ever. Everyone else is fail and clearly you know what everyone is doing wrong to end up in such a bad squad. BTW this is the post YOU quoted as the one where the person was a "loser," making excuses for their "own" fail. And she ended up jumping on her main and soloing it anyway.

Like I said, take your own advice and stop with the name calling. And maybe actually read a situation before you sit on your high horse and call other people losers and dish out advice.

I have been in bad squads and turned them around or avoid wipes. Okay, I agree this is an MMORPG, but "having to" depend on others is the path of failure. Stand on your own two feet, stop getting others to do things for you.

Also I see Xainou as a failure because of blaming the squad because she constantly failed to turn bad squads around. Instead she QQs about it... I read the whole thing, aggro management excuse, squad wiped because of DDs not knowing how to aggro? I call BS. The barb couldn't even tank right anyway and/or the cleric sucked hard. It all depends on endurance, if you can't endure well, then you won't survive. So I don't even think the barb or cleric can even bother handling even without the aggro stealers that are stubborn. So the whole squad is fail, you can easily complete the run with just a barb and cleric/mystic with gear that is not acceptable. Pointing fingers solve nothing, blaming fail squads for failure to complete is unacceptable.

Also, in case you missed that, we had one cleric, two sins, one barb. One cleric. Focusing on keeping the squad alive and the barb. And the sins that kept pulling agro. Still don't see how that leads to a fail?

I have seen sins and archers steal aggro and die like idiots. What I have bolded was the reason why the squad was wiped in the first place in 69, not because of poor aggro management, but because of failure to using purify and not leveling it, level 10 is far from expensive in coin or spirit, there should be no excuse to not level it because of this kind of reason. Clerics can heal / purify 2-3 people at a time without problems unless the cleric was VIT build or something. This dungeon should be easy even with +0 level 70 gear.

And how the barb die after sin dies? Looks like BS to me. He must have had low hp/def too... Sounds like a **** barb too.

I don't save quest kills for losers. Name your alts too so I don't squad with you, ever.

Stop hiding behind overpowered gear and say that. You can't because you have no skill and your under the delusion that you do because of your gear. Otherwise you'd know the limitations of other classes and what gear can do what. You clearly do not. If you did you wouldn't be suggesting the reason that the BH69 failed is because the wizard failed to tank and heal. It's easy for you to say that in your gear but it's simply not true and you would know that if you weren't overpowered for the instance. If you can do it solo, you're overpowered for the instance. If you need a squad then you're not. Soloing isn't the standard for any MMO and it's a ridiculous standard for low levels.

This mentality is going to get you constantly wiped in instances like AEU where everyone has to rely on others, no matter the gear. Or faction trials. You obviously have no clue how to play well with others. If you did you wouldn't be spouting this nonsense about classes playing the game the way it is meant to be played. Which is with other people and each person relying on each other to get the job done. They were not built to be soloed, they've just made it easy if you're willing to invest a ridiculous amount of time towards it. Most people will not, and they aren't wrong. Productivity wise, coin wise, investment wise, time wise, all of those are completely and totally wasted so you can talk down to people for having standard gear for their level.

Also loling at the whole hide in the water thing. Do you know why people run into the water? Because it causes the boss to reset. If it doesn't reset then he can hit you, and if he can hit her he can debuff her. ToP isn't going to help anything if the cleric has ragequit the squad and isn't there to purify. And yes aggro management is important if the sins don't want to die. And a cleric should ALWAYS try to make sure he/she is healing whoever is tanking and not just let sins die because "they aren't the tank," or whatever other ridiculous nonsense you're coming up with. The tank is the person with aggro. I can't count how many times i've saved a squad on my sin by taking over as tank.


Also most clerics don't level purify to 10 at that level because a)shouldn't be necessary b)it only decreases the cooldown and c) they have their squad buffs, bb, and rez to worry about. Most people aren't morons staying in that level range for long periods of time and +8 temporary lowbie gear. That's just you.

And just have to address this because this is the most fail thing I've read in a long time. Here's a secret, VIT doesn't change the cooldowns on purify or IH. A vit cleric can heal the same number of people as a pure cleric can without any issue whatsoever. The effectiveness of the heals may be lower but it doesn't change their ability to do so. This proves you know absolutely nothing about the game.
