Why can't the 'Public Notice' thing ever be modified 12-24 hours in advance of Maint and other events?
You know, the one most people probably skip automatically cause we know the bit about phishing sites? (not that some people still don't learn).
Doesn't that text load directly from PWI? I remember before Tideborn how I'd get the squared out Chinese characters, or load error messages there (for the message, not the game).
There are so many tools built into the game that aren't used. Like the Events section in the Encyclopedia. I use it all the time actually. For the server time. Just a shame it isn't updated with Archosaur Attack events, or server Maintence notices, you know, things that get scheduled? (Does the Snake Isle Race thing still even happen???)

lm a cleric and tho lm not up to nivy yet l have just as much touble with getting into FF coz they usually already have a cleric BUT l have made a few friends who like to take me as a second cleric coz my cleric is set up as demon attack cleric and l do some considerable dmg... they usually have me deal with all harpys.... but l only MADE these friend coz l set up FFs and take the ones noone else will either coz they think *only one* of that class is needed or because they think we are too weak..... point is MAKE SQUADS, MAKE FRIENDS, and soon enough you will have no problems getting squads with those friends
and l'll do the same thing when it comes time for me to start on nivy... l dont see the point in wasting big $$$$ on buying things you can get ingame with coins... l spend real money on flyers packs clothes and all the stuff that DOESNT drop, farm or get made, l think its time all you lazy ***** learned to be a little more patient and played the game AND stop being so self centered and help others out that need it b:angry0 -
im pretty tired of the aps complaint... if ur not a sin with this or that or a bm with this and that.. blah blah, start ur own squad go with friends...i did.0

The aurora agent does nothing but destroys the economy. It ruins 4 different aspects of merchanting, thus being; Gem Merchanting, Token Merchanting, Nirvana Merchanting and R8 Recast/Trial Merchanting. How, in anyway, does this make sense to people that aren't stupid in the slightest?
Sure Aurora agent was some 'amazing' npc when it came out. Two days later (or even the next day), people were complaining about token prices, then it moved on to canny/rap prices, then the large amount of Vit stones that were obtained via that dumb npc. In terms of R8 recast merchanting, it didn't effect HT as much, because the token prices settled around 25k, but on other servers it may have fluctuated prices on dama's.
Now also take into account all the people farming nirvana for moneys because they may or may not be able to handle certain TT's. If the Aurora Agent came back, how on earth are they going to make money from Nirvana to increase their gear to be able to handle the TT instances?

I say Amen to this. I don't sit here and complain like some people do. I agree that the aps people make alot more cannies than the caster, I understand that with all the keys that don't expire in time they can make more runs than the "nirvana tailsman that are time limited" Why not make the keys available to use for regular or caster nirvy squads. Make the instances the same but the bosses hit differently for the apps and the caster groups? Make the drops same for both classes, that would make things equal for everyone to play. I know that casters can make their own squad and have say a rainbow squad to do regular nirvy as well. Would be nice to see aurora agent for a week, people that do have the luxury of being able to have the tokens can get things they need that are sometimes difficult to get elsewise. I am certainly not above farming for things as I have done this for 3 1/2 years of playing this game which I love to play. I am not one of those power leveled toons that don't know how to play my toon either. (I understand there are people who have powerleveled their toons that do know how to play theirs as well.) I just want things to be fair for all classes is all. I understand that prices for cannies and raps would go down for that week and tokens would go up for that week, but what is the difference if for a week that the apps people don't get as much for the cannies for a week and the people that don't have cannies but DO have tokens actually made some money for a whole week while the apps people actually didn't make as much for one week out of the whole months and months that aurora wouldn't be around? IJS, some sins and apps people are cry babies and tired of hearing them complain all the time. Make things equal for all who play. And, PW is in this to make money so they win also with people buying packs and making money. Have a great day and have fun playing, stop whinning so much. PW will do what they always do, make money. what casters are failing to mention in their rants about what aps vana players or even regular non aps squads get in nirvana compared to caster vana is that BMS, SINS, oh wait any non caster cant do much of anything in caster vana where casters can actually contribute to regular nirvana. hmmmmm seems they fail to see they actually have the ability to do both nirvanas if they so wanted. i dont have that choice.. i get regular nirvana or umm regular nirvana.0

What I never could figure out was why make a second nirva, when all they had to do was change a few of the bosses inside reg. nirva to phys. immune. Either bring caster classes+ physical classes, or you cant pass. Musta been to easy to think of.0

Well tbh, I'd have to say BM's in Caster are amazing, as are sins. All you need is a wizzy buff or even BM's can use DBB for the fire damage to HF, Sins can use that Water buff skill - Condenced Thorn or w/e to Subsea. They are actually quite a good addition to a caster squad. Not so much a sin because more than likely the casters will have EP on their genie, even still, bm's are amazing in caster

yeah I don't like casters or regular....me and my demon veno self....I became demon before Nirvana for various reasons which are too mundane to mention here. Now all you see is "sage amp, sage amp, sage amp" in wc.... I understand that I am different...I get that and I honestly don't care. Ppl whining about nirvana is annoying. If you don't like it there are so many other parts to this game that can be fun without spamming once instance over and over (fcc included). Play the game and have fun. Ignore the randoms that complain too much.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Too true. I'm becoming demon just to fill the part :PThere once a time when I cared about getting to the top quickly as possible to help others. Now, I take it slow, and don't worry about having nothing to do. There's always something to do in an MMORPG, especially if you are high level. PK'ing is for those who desire to inflate their egos. True friendship comes from helping one-another, rather than to start rivalries.

I went one better and started a survey in the sins section to see what they wanted - sage or demon veno. They didnt care and so I went demon for other reasons.0 -
I've gone on plenty caster nirvana runs with a noncaster in squad. Mainly bms to be specific, but I have indeed done a few with sins, archers, and even a barb. And of course seekers, but that's more obvious.
...And I am also curious as to how long this maint is going to take. x.x My guess is the usual amount of time it takes for routine maint if not longer.

How did this get derailed into an aps/nirvy qq thread?
Its annoying to see casters just say "APS Nirvy makes so much coin blah blah blah qq cuz im to lame to make my own sqd or even work yet when push comes to shove i gladly take an aps toon with me to save my ***...etc"
Make your own sqd...simple. Spent all night b4 servers were down helping out faction mates get some nirvy runs.
People think that everyone is 5 aps. or that those who are or are decently geared got it for free or cs'ed with mom's credit card.
Wake up plz. Aps gear is so very expensive. Refines are expensive. All a caster needs is R8 +5 and they can get into any typical caster sqd. R8 is abt 80m atm on RT. So cheap compared to my Nirvy dagz @ 120M+ Wonder where sins who don't cs get their gear from? Maybe farm other instances? Do cube? Save coin? So excuse me if after playing this game for 3 years a fish can earn some rewards based on REAL effort.
I have a couple faction mates that farmed their R9+12 from scratch so plz. Real effort or gtfo -_-

It was an event NPC that was only available for a week. Trade 20 tokens to it to get nirvana drops and other stuff.0 -
