    in the middle of another game... kinda... i sale stuff in pwi and play other game won't say it, because me tired of die so much, pwi is too hard. watching archer videoes from where...? grrrrrrr no one in pvp zone on this game... this game is so dead :/ and yet i still have it installed, i guess it becaues i have a lvl93 archer on that game.

    And the archer forums used to be one of the few places left free from trolls. So sad. :(

    Asterelle now that your thread got demon_troll , it has gone through a total new level trust me. He has this weird ability to turn 7-8 page threads into 20-25 ones

    well i am just in fc now, either that or i am afk in archosuar... u will never know where i am when i not away from game... unless if my striker drop from u, i will stay away from u, if that happens, i will quit :(

    try to solo harpy wraith with a bow u sell out dont use claws/fist use bow if u want fist/claws roll a bm

    Doing this as an archer is pretty difficult though even with 20K HP. Harpy has very dangerous debuffs that can easily kill you if you aren't careful. I studied other attempts and found that Harpy has an entirely predictable behavior broken up into 3 stages. Within each stage she has a set attack pattern. If you see any mistakes it's probably because I am constantly looking at my stopwatch to keep track of the attack timings. I think I did a pretty good job and avoided almost all of the debuffs by timing Fortify and Evil Ward and my immunity skills.

    This is actually the first time anyone in Sanctuary has PROPERLY soloed Harpy. Dan has a vid of an attempt but a friend of his in the air was acting as second aggro to soak up the dangerous debuffs. I think Kirby also did a 'solo' but had a Psychic there spamming healing buffs on him.

    10/10 for perfect timing and knowing wat the hell you were doing, and playing your class to the full extent, the way its supposed to be played. excellent job.

    i will admit you did a good job of soloing the boss. however from a tanking perspective where there are other squad mates present that will be on the receiving end of aoes, your methodology is flawed in that you are following the all too common APS mentality of just spark resisting/purifying and using apoths, rather than canceling the channeling outright. Study the timing a bit more and I bet you'll find that if you have it down proper you can use level 10 earthquake to cancel channelling and not need to rely on the proc of your rank 9 bow to purge (as an example)

    Why would that be necessary if it works out just fine with the bow effect and resisting?

    because there is always a better way of doing things. and whats the point in being able to *solo* harpy wraith if you can't *tank* it to help someone complete their demon quest to kill her. by that i mean keep control of aggro and canceling aoes so that your squad mates stay alive, thus making it a smoother kill.
