Tidal Protection Buffed

I personally tested this with a Sin last night, and it has been proven that tidal can block the entire move. I'll make a video when I can.
As for AD/IG, I wasn't sure if they changed that aspect, but I doubted they did. Thanks for confirming that they didn't.
And yes, anti-stun still can't block anything, and neither can immune bosses, etc. Nobody was questioning this in this topic.
The only thing that has changed is that tidal protection can now block QPQ from transferring at all.
Edit: Also, both pre-expansion and post expansion, when tidal has blocked QPQ, the seal has NEVER gone through. You may need to delete your video, because tidal never proc'd during it. When it does, you'll see my point.
Was actualy like ten tries, I was the sin- I told em to fraps it after several failed attempts at tidal totally blocking it...re0 -

Yea he beat me too it, we tested at least 5 times before he told me to Record it for this thread plus i had been in SP pking for about 3 hours before vs numerous sins and not once did it fail to transfer tackling slash / subsea[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Weird. Last night when you posted was before patch, so it should've occured at least once. I tested it recently with one of my Sin friends and it did it on the third try.
I'll check again today or tomorrow when I get the chance to play. Hopefully it was fixed with this patch, but I doubt it.
If the problem still continues, then I'll definitely record it.
If not, then I'm glad they fixed it before anyone even noticed it was a problem.Donate towards my endgame build, please.

I don't think transfering a impairing effect to an impairing imune sounds fair.
Nor do I think tidal protection should be ignored by Quid Pro Quo.
I use Tidal protection to avoid negative statuses, the same way you use QPQ to transfer them, but over all and first of all, Tidal is used to AVOID negative statuses. If you seeker getting purified or not when failing transfer IDC, but its not fair to be debuffed when you're imune to that certain debuff or half imune to it.
So, YOU use vacuity to go imune to freeze and a seeker (same class as u) comes and successfully puts his freeze on ya, over your IMUNITY. Does this sound fair?
Hm. You said it worked on the 3rd trial, what about the other 2. Did your buffs get purified? Did your friends get debuffed? What happened?
Edit: OMG Tidal was TOTALLY blocking Quid? :O Agree, they gotta fix then :X0 -

Sage Quid Pro Quo transfers debuffs and silences for three seconds, typically.
Pre-expansion, if I had a debuff and transferred it to a Sin with tidal protection on.. If tidal worked, the debuff that I transferred would go through, but the silence would not work. Therefore, they would get immobilized, I would be free to move, but they would not get the silence effect that comes with the skill.
Post-expansion, if I had a debuff and transferred it to a Sin with tidal protection on.. If tidal worked, the debuff that I attempted to transfer would stay on me, AND the silence would not work. Therefore, the Sin can move, I can't move, and they don't get the silence effect that comes with the skill.
The latter pretty much just puts the skill into cooldown and does absolutely nothing.
But according to Sympathi and Re's tests, this has already been fixed. I'll test it whenever I next log into the game.Donate towards my endgame build, please.
