You only need 3 people really (caster, bm for HF and a puller), you barely get hit at all. And as I said Iron Guard. you dont get hit.
I dont know what your point about quoting me was. I am neither for nor against goonz glitch. I was merely stating fact. Also the only people 105 were sins and if you think they didnt "glitch their lvl" you are wrong.0 -
Kitamura - Lost City wrote: »not only 1, there was 3 to 5 levels 105 before fail people start doing goons -.-
Lets ignore how well they do with squad dynamics, solo'ing or in difficult situations, how well they handle their coin to make coin, or how skilled they are but rather just say oh you goonz you must suck at this game then and are fail.
If you seriously thought getting to 105 first was some accomplishment that people should look up and praise you for..... and this game wasn't going to **** you on it at some point... well look who's laughing now.BladedZero - Sanctuary

Ok, let's present a few points here, just for everyone to maybe get their head around things...
______________________________________________________________
Problem #1: Fixing ANY glitch
Ok, here's the thing, they can't physically do it themselves. Realizing most of you haven't even considered this, only PWCN holds the keys to the game's source code and the scripts that run it. They have to ask permission before they are able to do anything, and even then, PWCN has to authorize it, and most times, they are the ones responsible for fixing said glitch.
(Example: Nerfing the experience values on goons, they had to edit the part of the code that gave you "x" value of experience.)
To actually fix the part where the goons spawn every time you glitch them, they would have to do many hours of searching within their code for the part that activates that event. And considering even the smallest actions involve thousands of characters within the code, ask yourself... Do they honestly have time for that? Probably not.
_____________________________________________________________
Problem #2: Blaming the Mod/Admin team
They have no say. Your community manager is an envoy from the parent company/companies and can only relay what they are willing to share with him. (frankie)
Your moderators displayed exemplary attitude both in-game and on the forums, and have been here long enough to merit their position. They are in no-way affiliated to the company, their forum accounts are the only "account" with power. Their in-game characters are completely irrelevant in this matter.
GMs are a different story. Their forums account is their GM account. Just because it makes things a whole lot simpler regarding which powers you give them.
_____________________________________________________________
Problem #3: Blaming Cash Shoppers...
YES, I am going to bring this to the table. Everyone hates these people, they dominate them both in PvE and PvP. But in reality, you need to actually give some minor thanks to these people, as they are the reason PWI continues to operate and release new content. Would you rather they made everything farmable and made it so you paid a monthly fee like Blizzard or Jagex's games? Probably not.
_____________________________________________________________
Problem #4: Integrating a patch
To add any new patch to their server, they need to shut down the server, obviously known, but then they also need the network administrator to give them access to insert the patch into the serverside files, the clientside files, and also add the patch to the patching server.

@Bloody_Fox
Why shouldn't they? They still need people to prepare the content they are given by PWCN and intergrate it into the server. Plus, they need tech support, customer support, secretaries, community manager(s), in-game moderators...
I don't personally see them running that out of a small complex, as even the smallest problems require multiple minds.

I think you need to look at the broader picture, sorry man.

Edit: If any admin or mod sees this, I can assure you they would repeat my points that I made. Running any sort of game requires a lot of time and money, and also requires time. You want them to fix it in a blink of your eyes, it just can't happen. They don't have the access.
If you wanted to think of this game as a rental of PWCN's source codes, go right ahead. It's just about right. They can't edit anything, even though they are affiliated with all the other version of PW. They pay to get more content, they also have to acquire permission to insert the files within their version of the client.Sometimes you just have to live on the fly and hope you don't crash! b:pleased0 -
I hardly call the conduct of the GM or the mods exemplary. I could pull up 50 million threads on just the kitty alone. Frankie has been KNOWN to tell lies. The GMs do NOT have one clear set of rules for anything. This game is run by a bunch of people who whims make the decisions. I could post my current ticket and my friends ticket, but I'll probably be banned. I have exact same situation as a friend of mine, yet Im told go fark myself and he got treated much better.
While things may not be fixed in a blink of an eye the topic at hand is the banhammer not being used. Which they have complete and utter control over. Dont be a doosh.0 -
lawl... pwc gets a cut from the cash pwi makes.
atm pwi has no reason, to bother QQin @ china to bother fixing anything!
cause as long as the cash flows, they wont even bother to knock on china's knockers lol.
all they do atm is copy/paste what china 'emails?' them lol.
so? obviously pwi is making the cut, and the player base dont care enough other than saying "gawd lets move on, lets keep charging and hope they fix it" LOL[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Would you rather they be blunt and tell you why you've been suspended, or why they're not helping you? It probably wouldn't be very nice. Personally, I can almost guarantee you do the exact same.
The moderators have very little affiliation with the company. They do their job from home, school, work. Whenever they have time.
The admins can do their work from the office or from at home, within constrictions.
FYI: I am not trolling any of the posts here, you go ahead and look up on Google about source code editing, you'll understand pretty quickly.Sometimes you just have to live on the fly and hope you don't crash! b:pleased0 -

I know it was an exaggeration, but still... 50 million? At least make it a semi-reasonable exaggeration. And honestly, I'm always looking to improve the way I perform my duties here on the forums. If you see something that you feel was handled incorrectly, I'd love to get a PM about it, rather than have it fester in your mind and color your opinion of me.
The same goes to any other player who notices something. I love to get feedback, and realize that I am just as much human as the rest of you, and do make mistakes.
Thanks!b:thanks0 -
Also, another thing you may want to consider... Seeing as you're looking at one side.
Does either company have time to physically contact each other and send the code to be edited? Probably not.
I can also bet that PWCN also charges for tech support to their children companies.
_____________________________________________________
Edit: Also, as I said, they do not have the ability to edit any of the source code, only the creators of those codes may do that. Not only are they encrypted, they are very hard to read and understand.
Would he be human if he didn't make mistakes? No. Perfection is impossible.
My suggestion to you would be to personally give him any criticism.

I have NOT been suspended. Again you assume without any real knowledge.
IMO mods should moderate and not do the exact opposite and take sides. If they want to take sides they should post from an un-mod endowed account. It is exactly them putting their personal feelings in threads they make them unworthy in my eyes. Yes they work from home, work for free but it was their choice and they should respect that position.
Still on tha code editting? LOL The glitch was fixed... the topic of this thread is about banning the glitchers.I know it was an exaggeration, but still... 50 million? Trust me nothing festers. I rant and I move on. There is also a thread in dream weaver you should have closed years ago. yes another exaggeration.0 -
But you all blame the players that should be banned for abusing the glitch. Haven't you learned by now in your life that if there is even the smallest loophole, it can and WILL be exploited? I think maybe the one who has no real knowledge of anything would be you.
Suspension or not, issue or not, it all requires time and money. Trust me, PWI is actually pretty good with their support team. I've dealt with teams that took up to 3 or 4 months to get even a general reply, and only after religiously inquiring about my problem.Sometimes you just have to live on the fly and hope you don't crash! b:pleased0 -

I would rather slow and follow exact rules than them each make their own rules. That is where the failure is. If you didnt read my post a while ago, I am neither for or against the goonz glitch. I am for however, them following the rules stated in the ToS as we all agreed to abide by. At least then would we have a more reliable game.
Time and money have nothing to do with them banning since Frankie has already said he knows who they are
@ the kitty, you're welcome.0 -

See, that's the thing... It wasn't with ToS as they said they would reply within 48 hours.... 3 months later...
Also, if you had to sign a contract when you entered the real world as to what you can and cannot do, you'd die of old age before finishing the proof read.

Okay, I see you have low intelligence. Let me make this clear. Time is NOT the issue. The way in which they handle game issues is the issue. This is not life, this is a business. They "the GM's" are paid to exactly enforce rules. If they were under my employ, I'd fire them quick.

d00d tell me what this meant:
"I would rather slow and follow exact rules than them each make their own rules."
Then you come back with how there's no set time in the ToS. It is your comprehension at fault here. Not my english.0 -
