    Highly unlikely, the game was already redesigned so that 105 would be the cap.
    Everything post-105 was either edited to account for the new changes or removed. ( though some things were obviously left in such as lvl 110 pots)

    Why do you think the exp needed to get from 101 to 105 is so ridiculous?
    It was originally the exp needed to get from 101 to 150.

    Though it wouldn't be impossible to change the cap but really, if it takes billions of exp to get to 105, I would hate to see how much it would take to get to 110. b:shocked

    and if we're getting a new game engine its most likely going to the be that same one for FW (think its called angle not sure) its the 3 generation game engine PWE made PWI now runs on the 2n gen one i believe wold have to double check though

    Thanks also for the translate but the back story as translated above for the upcoming expansion/patch/whatever is nothing but irrelevant fluff. Pretty much everyone should remember that the EG expansion had a similarly fanciful plot where Perfect World was to be torn asunder (complete with accompanying trailer b:surrender ). But in the end it had ZERO IMPACT on the PW universe and this will be no different.

    Only thing that matters is getting information on the upcoming new dungeons and bosses as well as details on how the skill updates will affect the various classes. I suspect we should have most of that by Christmas latest (not that I will still be playing this game that long b:avoid ).

    As I recall, the EG were meant to rise and stop a disaster. This could very well be the disaster mentioned.

    On a side note, this really sounds like the PW Apocalypse I've been waiting for >.>

    maybe they will fix the cleric buff- magic shell

    What about the nerfed drops rates ? since 2008 are not the same anymore

    What if they will lower the drop rates more and more till the bosses will drop nothing anymore ..everything comes with a price (see Phoenix Valley ..a new instance but its not wanted so much.. or see runecrafting job , its not used so much )
    Wanmei should relax and dont sweat to create new content, anyways seems its fails and not wanted so much.
    Decomposing low lvl 3 stars gear doesnt give mirage celestone anymore ..
    Veterans players are starting to become Visitors

    A cool addon will be if they will make bosses quests SHARABLE.So high lvls when help a low lvl will gain reputation or some special points used to buy or craft some buff potions or something .

    It's called Angelica, and no, both pw and fw use the same engine.
    Fw's engine was modified a bit though.

    Pw has been running on the same engine since it was released back in 2005.
    This news of a new engine is rather... surprising. I had long assumed Wanmei had given up on trying to improve on the game code and was more focused on eyecandy patches (fash and packs).

    Dude... you're absolutely fking kidding yourself if you think this update will bring some kind major game altering event the way WoW did for instance in their last expansion. The Earth Guard ain't stopping squat.

    Be thankful that the old classes will finally be getting some loving and quit day dreaming that PWE will even bother paying attention to (not to mention spend money on) an in game story 90% of which the player base skips anyway. b:bye

    Would be nice to see some new skills added to my skill tree, more atks to play with b:laugh
    and if not even tweeks made to the skills would be nice.

    Cause i mean come on, psychics and mystics came out with the fastest casting skills ive ever seen on a magic class. It's annoying to watch those lvl 1 mystic/psys kill mobs faster then any mage without some -channeling gear at all to compensate.

    Not to mention the defense buffs, (and by defense buffs i mean mystics 79 skill and pet absorb skill along with pyschics "seal when you touch me" and 11s phys immune skill)
    I almost wanted to re-roll one of those until i saw the lack of atk skills they both get b:surrender

    Still though, would like to see what these "upgrades" to skills will be b:victory

    The core problem in PWI is that it's too unrealistic combat-wise(plus it ONLY focuses on combat, that that's a different topic altogether). Buffing things up=good. Weakening anything at all=bad. If it makes the game too easy? Power the monsters and bosses up too. Hell, maybe then, players will actually want a Barb's(and Seeker's?) damage-soaking potential. Maybe then, players will want a Cleric or Mystic to heal them instead of relying on Bloodpaint.

    I can never advocate weakening of any classes, I'm sorry. Let alone the complete removal of them. That's just not how you make a fun game.

    So what's the easiest thing to do? BUFF THE OTHER CLASSES. Then bring out new content we cant' solo since we can already solo so much already....... even if it's not a sin doing it.

    It would be a great improvement to the game to have the fish removed. They should have a trade in option to convert their gear / skills to a real class and then just remove all the fish.

    I know a lot of people that quit the game because of how crappy sins made things.

    I think game mechanics are more to blame for the game being ****. All this solo'ing and all this or that going on. I think they should up drop rates of stuff, and rebalance game rules and instance variables to make it impossible to solo/duo/trio.

    no new class plz. people still need to learn how to play the old ones ijs...

    skill upgrade for all classes sounds good. new gear sounds ok ish...new instances is a must. all in all this sounds good but when is it coming for north america?

    I'd like to point out something i read on page ten by Kritty and maybe others, and after reading the first few lines of each translation...

    The game already IS 3-D. Not 3-D popping in your face like 3-D movies, but it's 3-dimensional. As in you can see your toon and everything else from any angle, look anywhere..... yada yada. 2-D is .... well anyone play Rusty Hearts? Only thing i can think of atm are it's dungeons for 2-D. Since the camera's fixed and such.

    There's no way in hell they can make this game REAL 3-D..... they can't even fix "simple" bugs, u think they can make it real 3-D?? They'd have to make an entirely new game to do that.....

    It's probably a gimmicky thing that Wanmei is pulling off.

    For example, fw is advertised as a game being in 4d, when 4d is really just time and it seems silly for a game to be experiencing time.

    It still doesn't make sense though how we are being upgraded from 3d to OMFG 3D, maybe they mean they'll change how the game will look...? (that's unlikely though, wanmei isn't that ambitious)

    Also, rh is not 2d in dungeons, it's 2.5d. 2d is 2d models with locked camera or sidescrolling, rh is 3d models with locked camera in dungeons.

    Nah removing them would be harsh... Besides the idea behind them was nice... But they should seriously nerf sins... Don't get me wrong, I also have a sin-alt myself... But I realy wouldn't mind it if sins where nerfed back to being skillfull DD's...

    Let the kiddos finally get their full jades done yet. Sins wont like them after that nor will most AAs. Still say barbs are better sin killers though.

    Wouldn't mind seeing a 'party-find system' or 'people group finding list' available as well as the online radio station finally working might be an improvement (But that may-be in the Malaysian version only)

    Of course the list would be just what dungeon / whatever is being done.

    Also wouldn't be too bad to have a divisional item system from dungeons in the game as well. That other game has the 'roll system' for gear. PW do something like it? I'd like to see that.

    The radio button only lead to another website, last time I checked it is a feature that is intended for pwcn.
    I don't know if my-en ever had a radio site associated with them, I don't recall it doing anything when i tried it back in 2007.

    Actually it works pretty well using Stereoscopic 3-D Vision software. Took me a bit to get the distance adjusted properly, but once I did was pretty neat. I've got a video uploaded somewhere. You need the glasses to see it though. (standard R/B glasses work fine.)

    I really hope they make barb, cleric, wizzy more enjoyable to people again. I have only seen 3 wizzys on HT in the last 3 weeks.
