Duplicated Love: Up And Downs?

Raging Tide Server in the past hour had Love:Up And Down x10 in the auction house for 200mill a peice. finding that pretty unusual because on our server gold prices are 1.36kk ea. basically were use to payin over 400mill for one. keeping people reminded to keep there accounts to themselves, it could be someone that stole a bunch, or duplicated who knows. just find it unusual in 1 hour the rarest item can be dropped half price, and with so many in stock so quickly.

    I remember someone hinting/claiming on the emergency maint thread last week that the Harshlands server had someone duplicating items.

    If such a glitch does exist, and its leak, this game will be sooooooooooooooo done for. b:shockedb:laugh

    Even though they could just do a rollback.

    keep in mind this isnt the first time this has happened, this is the second day i know of where we've had 200m love up and down tomes in ah x10. so something is up with this incident

    I've noticed it over the weekend that prices on the lvl 7 and lvl 6 tomes have dropped dramticly. Pan Gu's drop due probably to the abundance of lvl 7s, but I saw last night, assuming people weren't trolling or scamming, 3 scroll of tomes or Love's go for 200-210 mil in World Chat. So I think it is fishy, better bind it if you got it if it is hackers and if it is dubplicated item buyers beware a server roll back could be coming.

    Well. some people ar eplaying with fire now..Or in hot water, whatever..

    Duped item have the exact same item ID as the "original". Wuth a bit of work, a gm can retrace the 1st one of that ID chain to have appeared on the server and from there IP ban the culprit.

    Also, if they do proceed with that all duped items with same ID code, will be deleted after they found the culprit. So do not buy those if you think you are gonna keep them.

    Same happened on another MMO, it's why I know. Also taliking to my gf about it.
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    and this is a high profile one.
    I don't want to know how many raps, uncanny, anni packs and other stuff the guy dupped.

    I guess he got bored, now he dupes L:UAD to "in your face" the GMs

    Pro tip: A ton of people got **** lately (see sticky).

    Which means the hacker(s) probably has/have a ton of Love: Up and Down tomes.

    Which means they will have trouble selling these items that 99% of the server cannot afford (or want), and they basically just want fast cash before they get found out by the GM's.

    Whoever did this is a total idiot

    First,if you're duping items,DON'T OVERDO it,flooding the AH with 10xLove Up and Down at half their price is like telling everyone HEY IM DUPING ITEMS WOOT

    Second,you should dupe lesser value items in lesser quantity,to be less suspicious.Ideal items are the farmable ones,Duke shouts every time someone gets a scroll of tome,but it doesn't every time someone a Gold or Red mat in TT,so players have a vague idea of Tomes around.While for TT mats,they may as well assume that whoever did that is a very heavy no-life TT farmer.

    Third,again,if you must dupe expensive stuff,don't overdo -.- dupe one every 3-4 days and don't put more than 2 of the same item in the AH....try not to look so obvious.

    actually, on a second thought, I don't think the guy is duping LUAD...that would be "dirty" items...since each item has its own ID code and duping is basically duplicating that ID. Duped items are usually used for scams, but this is different.

    What would be smart is to dupe anni packs , in stacks, double the number with each dupe. Then open and sale the tokens/drops that have a server generated ID when you open packs = "clean" coins.
    Basically a "money laundry" process for duped items. Perfect loophole because of PWI packs greed.
    Finally, looks like it came back to bite them.Hard.

    I've opened close to 8k packs by now and haven't gotten a SoT. That's a lot of packs opening.

    anni packs have been in sale for 2 weeks. some accounts and a clicker...

    And this is truly a lot of people. A few guildies of mine got ****, and it was all because they used the same pass on PW as on a certain fansite which also got ****.

    Maybe someone just dicovered a glitch in the production of the tomes? If you buy one I don't think you will lose it.

    I don't see any of these love:upanddowns on sanctuary yet. Is this fansite just for people from RT? I also find it hard to believe that everyone who was **** had love up and down and not a Pan Gu. How come there aren't alot of Pan Gus in the AH as well?

    Whoever is doing this doesn't see a need to sell anything else and doesn't care what price they sell it at. That certainly sounds like an unlimited supply.
