Some highlights:

- Removed doors in FB79.
- Ring Engraving service now available at the craftsman in Arch. Additional stats can be added to rings.
- Magic class (wiz, psy, veno, cleric, mystic) can challenge brand new phy. immune boss in Nirvana with a special key obtainable daily.
- Changes in Rebirth: you will no longer be automatically rez'd, you will loose exp upon death, special rez scroll (and a couple of other stuff not sure what for) will be given upon entry.

Patch just completed on the CN Servers.

Word is that the new phys immune nirvana indeed has five bosses.

poster basically said that the first boss didn't drop anything, next 3 dropped 1 or 2 (didn't say which, last boss dropped mirage, rap and canny. Took them 50 mins because it was their first time. Bosses aoe... cleric bb'd... People seemed to be pleased with the drops.


Now some info on ring engraving:

All rings can be engraved, including rank ones.

There are six level/grade of engraving SO FAR, for the lowest one (grade 1) you just have to pay some coins and will get a random stat add-on, the higher ones require more mats (mirages, warsong emblem, etc), more coins, and someone mentioned lucky tokens too.

You can cycle through the add-ons as many times as you want, provided you pay the fees or the mats, very much like nirvana recasting.

The stat you get is perma, and you only get 1 per ring.

The highest level (grade 6), for item grade 11 and above, has the following possible add-ons:

accuracy +116
evasion +56
mana +87
vit +6 - 7
str +6 -7
dex +6 -7
mag +6 -7
hp +39 or +47, 53
phy def +53 or +62
mag def +53 or +62
phy atk +15 or +18
mag atk +15 or +18
phy atk +20
mag atk +20
then each elemental res +2%

Some info on RB now:

You get 10 rez scrolls, and a charm that has +5 each of atk and def.

    That might save 1k booting. But it also means that runners cannot die to get back fast, if barb happened to die he cant go back fast to team.


    Fix the friking barb aggro first pls. Some1 posted they would have done that

    You're right... 79 is one of the, if not THE easiest fb I've done.

    But 69 was truly challenging, and the guards just made it more challenging.

    And remember 51... how many times you had to run back cause you forgot to kill guards, lol.

    Come on, you have to agree, too easy is boring and those little "secrets" made the game more fun to play :)

    I would agree with the 79 doors going making it "even easier" except that on most of my BHs this week we had to go the long way round b:sad

    The main classes (DD, tank) spend millions on charms and repairs, and your to cheap to buy some scrolls and teleport incense?

    BUT, when will we actually getting them?

    There was a post back in May of some other patches the Chinese servers were getting, but we haven't seen them yet. So, sadly, it seems we are at least a month behind them and we're probably even farther behind than that.

    Removing the doors will make farming TM79 a much, much more viable option.

    Especially since the level cap is 90 so you'll have demons and sages in there too.

    It also sounds like they are fixing the problems with viewing the world map on widescreen displays.

    Hmm... fixing the 1k boot bug is of course a good thing. But I can see how this will really mess up parties. Res scrolls have a long cooldown (one hour I think?). So the barb dies say, in wave 3 or something, uses his scroll to keep everything running smoothly. Then in a later wave something goes wrong and the barb dies again. What now? Now the cleric has to drop BB to res him, which could kill the whole party. But in some cases, not having the barb kills the whole party so... sometimes waiting for the wave to end isn't an option. Especially if more than one person is down. Now people like me don't mind releasing corpse, as I'm not trying to level... but I have met a *lot* of people that refuse to do so, when exp loss will occur.

    I'm not sure of people's compaints about the running. Aside from venos (this is really bad for the ticket runners), how does this change anything? Res scroll: you res where you stand. Cleric res: you res where you stand. Release corpse: you lose exp now, but presumably reappear in the same spot as if you had died before these changes. No extra running added?

    As far as for the ticket runner, this is a mess. Everyone knows we suicide at the end for a quick portal back to the beginning. For those of you saying hey, others spend money on charms, pots, etc.... I know that, I have done RB on my barb and archer as well. And I used event gold for my charms, which I got from Dragon Points. Pots are not all that expensive and I farmed for apoth stuff. So unless they make teleport incense available with Dragon Points... I'm probably out on my veno as well, if/when these changes occur.

    About the Nirvana change: at first I thought hey great, something to get casters into Nirvana. Then I realized, without a bonus to the *entire* party, a big bonus, there will be no change. There is no penalty for not taking a caster; no difference in how it had been. For one extra boss, I highly doubt all these APS squads will bother.... unfortunately.

    Hey, you're forgetting Poison Fang for the occasional clawbarb.

    Every teleport incense is 300 dragon points.

    Now if only you could actually use 300 Dragon points to buy a single Teleport Incense. Most people won't have the time nor patience to grind out the 50,000 Dragon Points, even if it means they get 166 Teleport Incenses.

    She got event gold from her DQ points which she used to buy charms. Apparently she didn't know event gold also buys teleport incense.

    A bronze charm is 2.4 event gold, 9 teleport incense is 2.7 event gold. I don't see this as much of a cost to the runner.
