It is still used, but more often I see people say a tabbed BH or just linking the tab, or saying the name of the dungeon itself.

I remember when every non-AXE BM was considered fail. Especially fist one.

I remember WCing like "LF zhen squad" "I'll do FB 19,29,39,49,59 you keep all drops".

I remember City of the Lost was so full of catshops... now I see 2 or 3 at most.

I remember Archer was the best DPSer and Wizard was the best DPHer [and considered the best DDer by most].

I remember people were grinding, not hypering.

I remember when player with yellow/green weapon was a god.

I remember times when there were no BHs, no Genies, no Supply Stashes...

I remember there were actually new players in game. Tons of them.

I remember people were doing Dragon Quests

I remember times when Perfect World was truly perfect b:victory

And now some of memories when I was a n00b:

- I bought 1 Teleacoustic and was like "Yea, now I can WC like other people do!"

- My first char was a Veno and every level it was like "2 points to Magic, 1 point to every other stat"

- When I got 2 pieces of armor from quest (that pre-20 black arcane) I was buying the rest of set from Tailor

- I remember when finally reaching that chest in Etherblade after 100 tries felt so pro...

- I remember that there were at least 3 people constantly trying to reach that chest

- When I actually started reading guides b4 creating my 2nd char and when I realised how failed was my 1st Veno I was like "Now with correct build I'll be finally able to do that Den of Rabid Wolved quest! "

I have a dream of Perfect World or at least Perfect Faction where people are doing almost everything the way players were doing so long time ago... b:dirty

I remember when we got new mount sales every month. Now it's just a sale on packs to try for the same old rare mounts.

I remember when it took a week to get to 60, then it slowed to a crawl if you didn't zhen. I hated those times.

I remember when everyone else thought fist bms were fail. I think because most of them wore all light armor.

I remember grinding on level 60 foxes all day without 2x drop to get enough gold to buy a fancy mount that was on sale for the weekend. You can barely even get 1 gold doing that even with 2x drop nowadays.

I remember when people were looking for "tank, cleric, puller and DDs" for TT60, and completing a TT was so amazing since not a lot of people in the faction had done it.
After genies came people instead were like "you have a zeal?", "no, but I'm a ****ing veno", no response.

I remember the time before packs, when people had to work hard for their gear and TT was considered pretty good stuff.

And... this being my first MMO, I remember when I rolled my first char and I didn't notice the select server page... and my roommate came out and saw my archer and said "oh no! Lost City? You don't want to be there! That's PvP." And I said "what's PvP?"

That level one archer still sits there.

I remember how amazed everyone was whenever someone hit 80, 90, or "omg 100 you are sooooooo amazing and dedicated!"

I remember when genies first came out, and I was so intimidated by their skill trees. Now, I barely use mine except for Holy Path spam.

I remember when people actually did WQ, because that amount of exp was a lot.

I remember when I bought my first dress (a ballroom gown) for 100k, and I felt like that was a lot of money.

I have an alt on Arch server. I was super surprised when I saw people actually asking for zhen squads in WC. Wasn't a 1 off either. Afew still ask to this day b:cute

I remember sitting outside the elf fb19 with my faction mates, and doing peoples' fb19 for rep/ tab exp.

I remember the joy that overcome me when I got my 1st ever mold in my fb.

I remember the awe I was in when I saw the 1st sage fairy.

I remember going into TT 1-1, and wiping many many times on drummer because only 1 or 2 of us were 60+, and green weapons were epic.

I remember when you didn't get a popup at lvl 10 introducing you to the CS. I didn't know 1 existed until my 50s. b:chuckle

I remember the fighting venos used to do trying to tame a rare pet. Lots of claws out that hour...

I remember when 2x exp/spirit/drops was a godsend, not a quarterly event.

I remember when killing bosses such as Krimson and that boss at burning heart (can't remember name) was considered good.

I remember alot of things. Alas the past is the past. WTB a Time Machine.

i have so many memories of the early days of the game, some bad-the days while on LostCity and being KOSed all the time simply for being a veno or a cleric. and better ones, time spent with my kids and husband, playing together on HeavensTear, with my daughter and i as venos, my son with his barb, and my husband splitting his rare online time between his cleric and wizzie.

but now? it seems that none of us are of any use. we built our characters carefully, following the old build rules, statting to fit weapons and other gear intended for our class and race. now, people throw the rules out the window and brag about how they are a cleric, but have the fastest claws in the game, for instance. whoopie di do. so you're so freaking fast with claws...but what about what your race's skills? hows your heals? RB? BB? IH? res? can you do both claws and be a healer? to me, to give up the very skills that make your race and class what it is, to be a fake BM, is pathetic. all that is is a BM that looks different, but doesnt have BM skills. so why not actually BE a bladmaster, if one wants claws,etc that make you so fast?

i too miss the days when people used to wait around the entrances of FBs, either to help friends, or to just help out (also to get the extra rep). now? well my daugter has three alts that need help with their FBs, but no one will help, because it seems everyone is only interested in 'powerleveling', and not wanting to do anything else. i went first to Tellus City for help with a quest for my Mystic, called and called, with no answer. then i tried in Archo. same thing. in the past, people would have come just for the fun of it. in factions i've been in in the past, we used to go out once a week, as a faction, and tour around the map, to kill off 4-5 world bosses, just for fun...certainly, none of us got any drops, and charms/pots galore were certainly burned. ***but it was FUN!***

....does anyone here do anything 'just for fun' now? or is the only raison d'etre to powerlevel and find new ways to make money? if so, its very sad.b:sad

i remember when there was people on this game. a new game doesnt have squad finding problems for instances.. dont blame anyone for the problems you have ingame, pwi is a old grind type game, since not much ppl playing it you get squad finding prob lot.

oh, i miss Kantorek, and that good morning of his. when he was on the game, monitoring things, his wry and funny comments. we knew he was on the game, and watching out, so we knew who to go to when we needed to talk to someone about problems in the game. now? we dont know who the GMs are for our servers...we are told to send our 'comments' to an impersonal ticket page, which may or may not be answered by an equally impersonal, faceless, unknown employee of PWE who might not even know how to play the game.

this i know for a fact, because when there were big problems with the visual textures, a GM was sent out to talk to me ingame, and she had no clue what i was talking about, when i showed her from the air how the tiles were smeared into long lines, and not in the squares as they should be. so she didnt even know the mechanics of tiles, etc, but her elf cleric was so new, and she so new to it, that she had no skills, or even how they are acquired. i hope she has by now....enough time has passed! <wry grin>

The past, oh the past...

-When Gold was 95k on HT.
-The old WC spammers. (Mullet, KaiKanami, MEGABYTE, etc)
-My old grinding spots, and grinding buddies. I would grind 6-8 hours per day, and have my own little area's as I progressed through the game's storyline.
-When there was no packs. You actually had to farm Lunar/FF, etc to acquire gear.
-No hypers, BHs, oracles, School Trainer quests, 5aps, easy FF, easy Lunar, Sins, Stealth, Head fash, etc.
-FF took a level 95+ squad 6-9 hours to complete.
-If you had a glowing weapon, you we're cool.
-Quests we're actually completed by most players.

Ah, the good ol' days.
