I am 64 but miles away. I hope sage and demon come soon, so when i get 89 it will be cheap cause of the people would of bought it ages ago before me. But if not, i guess i can wait.b:pleased. I am very patient. Yup i am going sage because of from what i see, overall the boosts seems to more useful to me, then demon.

Going sage on seeker. I promised a friend i'd go sage on any class reaching 89, and she'd go demon on all.

As for skills, I see good reasons for both sides. But still a hard time judging since my seeker is just 70s, and I have a hard time basing an opinion on 100% theoretical hypothetical situations. For instance, vortex is a major skill, and still wonder which would be better. The stun, besides Okeanos point, will also cancel channeling of mobs. I don't really see the "all mobs hitting at same time" as much of a problem, but might be from my experience with barb. The sage range extension is also a bit double, cause wouldn't all mobs be in already at 12m? Would have to get to 87 to see that, but from comparison with other 12m skills on classes I play, it should have all mobs in at 12 and 14 if you have aggro.

All in all, both culties seem pretty balanced. Funny how ppl will always massivly trash 1, and make the other some god-mode.

HH means Holy Hall, witch is the same thing as TT but I think its from a different version or something.

I still don't understand why players still have a issue with the abbreviation of something, as long as you know what it means there should be not problem.

i dont see anything wrong with having some APS gear. seekers do benefit more from using their skills which i can see why APS wouldnt really help for them since skills = casting not APS. but whats seriously wrong with having aps gear anyways? for those times you are just ****-slashing away? im not saying that seekers should -focus- on aps for max DD, because it just wont happen, im just saying i can see why some people would still want to get APS gear for the occasion.

Plus, some gears like TT90 gold (gloves) are nice to have simply because if your wearing 2 pieces you get a nice STR bonus from the set, along with the APS from the gloves.

I believe my hubby seeker wants to go demon but i myself have a feeling he may like being sage more. i think i might have to convince him a little better. the sage spark actually would be a nice benefit if the seeker is tanking for the DMG reduction, and i think would probably do more good than the demon because if you spark as a seeker your most likely going to spam skills.

Nothing wrong with getting some aps gear, in some cases it may be unavoidable (TT gear) and the lunar cape is still nice asside from the -interval add on.. And they do some decent damage each **** they do manage to do, and the crits are nicer..

Sometimes when im in close range, he will hit a couple of times in between skills, nice to see the numbers flying..

Gear with interval does what? effects APS.... they still co-exist.. So how is it missleading to call it APS gear?

Definitely agree with you. I am going demon for the skills not the spark and the spark will probably be a way to up dps when the mp pot is going. I 100% agree that the sage spark seems to fit the class better than demon, but hey for all we know this is all wrong information anyway.

I didn't say it was misleading. It's just the stupidest term ever invented to talk about intervals. "Looking for attacks per second BM for Nirvana?" "I don't have any attacks per second (Uhh everyone has SOME APS?)".

seriously? QQing about me calling -int equipment APS gear? Actually to me, calling it that does make since, because it is GEAR that adds more ATTACKS PER SECOND = APS gears. I dont see how -chan gear would refer to healing gear because wizards and venos use these -chan gears for attacking faster.

Communication can be funny at times. For people who've played this game for a while and been around during the dawn of 5 aps chars will certainly know and understand what "aps gear" is if that term is used instead of "- interval gear", which is fine. For me, I see it as people being lazy to type out more letters. If a term or something works, and many people knows of it, then why not use it? It's only logical to do something that will improve and not impede progress.

However, I agree with Okeano that it's not really the best choice of words to use for documentation or explanation. If you analyze the words more carefully and its meaning, APS gear =/= - interval gear. APS is not necessarily a whole number. APS is technically a measurement of speed or a rate of change. So for people new to aps, it's like taking 1 step forward in knowing about the subject, but taking 2 steps back when trying to figure out what it really means.

If a new comer to the game first sees "aps gear" it might confuse them as that term is not very explicit as compared to using the term "- interval attack gear" in contrast to " - % channeling gear". For some people, they might see "aps gear" as referring to "- channeling gear", because with decrease in channeling of spells, you are increasing the amount of attacks mage classes can do during a given amount of time. A spell that takes 1 sec to channel and cast (1 aps) with more than - 50% channel, the caster can cast at least twice per sec if the second skill is of a similar channel and cast time, making it 2 aps. Of course, I don't think such an example I gave exists in game with these numbers.

Just think, if this game was to be re-interoduced to another country with another language again using the English version or just reading about it, the translation of the APS subject will be quite vague.

On subject, I think Sage Seeker fair better in pve and pvp as sage skills offers more attack and defense value enhancements than demon. More damage, and better survivability, that's a good package.

It may varry here, from server to server...but for most part even the "new people" when actually learning what "-interval gears" are, will learn quickly that when they hear people saying "APS gear" or a "APS BM" thats precisely what they are refering to.
