Damn you and Eden still dont' get this? CHINA makes the game, NOT the US.... CHINA gives us the "hand-me-down" once it's translated.. Try reading the thread before you post? links were posted, and GM's have said it before hell even i know this....... the ONLY THING we can change without running it by the CHINESE devs everytime is OUR boutique.
The stash is coded in the game itself, therefore OUR company has to run any wanted changes by china first. The boutique is... how do i put this.... It's more like a pop-up web page IN the game that is (and this has been said too) controlled by our GM's/company. They can change it w/o changing any game code or waiting for a update (and they have).
DQ rewards... had to run that by the devs... took coding.... TW pay... coding.. had to run that by the devs.... (you notice what the TW map says now? OUR guys put it back to $ in a way.. but now it says mirages, cause so does China's and we just had a major update. Ever notice every expansion things go back to the way they were? Duke's back to shouting everything too... I'd assume in a major expansion the game checks ALL the files and replaces what's not the same as china's version, unlike short little updates to fix.... localization lol).
What the hell is the point of this thread anyway..... you all are really complaining for 12 pages about ONE horn? How many people you really think are going to waste that much coin to open the stash after 45? Ya one horn.. and poof it's gone.. big deal. Not like it's back in the boutique, which it's not, and THAT"S what we were promised in case you all forgot..... It wont' come back to the BOUTIQUE unless a way's implemented to filter them.0 -

i play plenty of games where there is almost likely always another version of it but if u arent playing the other versions who gives a **** about theirs and who develops it as we dont play those versions
they removed perfect horns before due to complaints... they obviously did not remove them from pw china
they removed red spam from duke several times before and this was also not from china as well
so i love hearing the excuses about how we get their version and shouldnt complain because its out of pwi hands... its obvious the developers can and do listen to complaints they just dont give a **** and that is going to rightfully **** people off
now please go on and tell me again about these silly irrelevant technicalities to excuse the crappy product being put out by pwi... the only version of perfect world i play and thus care about... i love reading some of the funny responses0 -

they removed the horns from the cash shop not from the game anyone who purchased the horns after they were released coulda still had them but no one did they were never fully removed from the game because pwi does not have that kind of power.
The duke spam is another system in it entirety and yes they had to get permission to edit that too.
Think about the tt changes they were made back to normal but did not keep it that way because it woulda broke the game completely with bugs.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I find the horns a tiny bit annoying but it doesn't bother me much by itself.
HOWEVER, this evening a rather suggestive, inappropriate post was made with a horn. Such childish behavior is why I turn world chat off most of the time. Due to the fact that you can't turn it off, I find it extremely crude to post such things through the horn.Leader of EdensStar0 -

I thought a GM (don't remember who) posted a while back that they were going to find a "solution" to the horn problem, and this is what they came up with? SMH... way to go PWE.I quit PW and all its games it had to cater to me. I'm off playing a better pay-to-play game where I experience no glitches, no spamming LF squads, lose stuff in PK mode, lose exp on death or anything for cheaper price than what I paid for here. However, I'll still be lurking around pwi forums from time to time. Quit Date: March 4, 2011 RIP my beloved characters. b:bye0

Ok i was helpin out some seekers yesturday in fb 29 and they almost died because BAM!!!!!
a horn showed up with large type saying that some faction is recruting. Perfect timing because it showed up as my pet was killin the lantern and they forgot about the BOOM it does. Now when we do any instances we like to keep the chat clean and to the point as to what we are doin at that time. im glad u r goin to take duke out . BUT please give us an option to turn the horn off. Lookin back on that run we can laugh now b:laugh[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You are comparing a MMO with... the ideals of a retail store. A=/=B. First, if you did fly out to Beijing, you would get stopped at the door. Make a scene, and you'll probably be escorted out. Take it any further, and you could be arrested and sent back to whence you came for nothing.
If you wanted to get YOUR point across to Beijing, YOU would have to formally complain, not through PWE. Since you used retail ideals, I shall in kind.

Like you responding to someone else, I responded to you. Also, I said "customer" being careful not to personally address you nor would I call that 'tearing up a store.' It's realistic and is very much the process of business in retail when dealing with employees.

The horns are back in game because the devs don't care what PWE promised. PWE managed to get the Devs to change the TW payout back to what it was originally (money), even though it's changed back again in fairly record time. If PWE made a point to them that the players really hated the horns and we promised they would not return, the devs might have listened. The devs could just have easily said their case was silly, dismissed it, and did as they pleased (putting them back in).
Or it is yet another case of culture VS culture and the various levels or maturity, or immaturity.
