Ps. Kitty has escaped from the leash, I are enjoying my time till it`s time again to do what I`m told!
I remember, in my youth, in the 1930s, talking to an older neighbor kid about girl friends and stuff. After a long, winding conversation (yes, i even did it back then) the following (paraphrased) discussion took place:
YOUNG BLOODMYSTIC: I really don't understand why you each [he and his girlfriend] exchange presents for Christmas. If your in any kind of fair relationship, you are going to spend $100 on her gift, she is going to spend $100 on your gift.
Neither of you will be spending that $100 on something you value more than the $100 itself (otherwise, you would have spent your own $100 on it already).
So since inevitably, you both are going to value the $100 cash more than the gift picked out by the other, you might as well just exchange the money.
And if you are both going to spend $100, you are each merely trading $100 for $100, so why bother exchanging gifts at all?
OLDER NEIGHBOR: Well, I am probably going to spend more on her than she does on me. That's just kind of how it works.
YOUNG BLOODMYSTIC: Well, then you should just ask her how much she is spending, subtract that from how much you are planning on spending, and give her the difference.
OLDER NEIGHBOR: Um, when you get older, you let me know how that conversation goes . . . ."And as for bragging, I don't need to brag. I am famous, yo. My accomplishments are legendary. I am BLOODMYSTIC, speaker of truth, bane of the Barbarians of Impulse, slayer of the **** of Narla, liberator of all the free peoples of the Archosaur server, former master propagandist for our leader in freedom, Proski, and Archtroll of the PWI Forums. For a man, it is the thought that counts. We don't care how much you spend on us, it's just nice to have been thought of.
For women though, it is all about the money. I bought my girlfriend a teddy bear for Valentine's from Build-A-Bear, she got mad because it cost only $10 (she still sleeps with it though lol). I tried to redeem myself by buying her an iPod Touch for her birthday, she yelled at me because it was too expensive (the screen now has 5 cracks in it). I bought her a white gold ring with an amethyst stone in it for $100, and she was pleased (I put a lifetime warrenty on it to cover any damages, resizing, polishing, cleaning, replacement in case of robbery, lost in food grinder, pummeled to dust, Barb sitting on it, because all of that is likely to happen around her).
So, I have decided that story about Goldilocks and the three bears applies to all women. You have to find that middle ground, otherwise you find your ears ringing and/or a sore jaw.... b:laugh
And by the way, couldn't you have made that story a little more believable Blood? $100 in the 1930's? I could believe someone spending that today, but not back then, especially during the depression.
Edit: this made me realize something....
Who was the idiot that forgot to give Mango something for his... I mean her birthday? XD0 -

Very Very accurate, though still not 100%. Every female is just so different that I can't really assume them to have the same middle ground. But this is still very insightful for the lucky few who did not learn the hard way.
A $10 box of chocolates worked once, but the execution cost me a lot of time and a few bucks. My theory is I can give you anything but it's all about how you do it. I actually have a habit, you know those small details about your significant other? I write them down on my cell-phone at random at the moment she says something I feel would be nice to remember.
When the time is right, go to back to your list and watch the sparks fly. I speak like I know what I am talking about but trust me, I have failed many times. Thankfully nobody I have dated reads a forum of some random game. They don't even know I play games on the computer. b:cool

True enough. I actually have a notepad in my car that I do the same. When she says something I think might be a good thing to remember, I just put it in short term memory till I get to my car, write it down and save it.
Fortunately for me, while she knows I play games, she doesn't read these forums. So when I tell you about how her daily blond moment today was that she thought New England was a state, and Nantucket was it's capital, I don't have to worry about her reading this and making me pay for it later. b:chuckle
As far as important dates go, mine are pretty easy. Her birthday is three days after mine, our anniversary is Halloween, and her brother's birthday (deceased) is exactly two months after mine. Fortunately, she is not close with the rest of her family, so their birthdays she doesn't really care if I remember or not.0 -

I am beyond hopeless with dates, if I don't have some form of a reminder I will forget even my own birthday. I find my phone very useful as I can have it show me 24 hours ahead of time if an important date is closing in. The cost of forgetting an important date can be severe sometimes, my mother was very disappointed when I forgot her birthday. But ever since I bought myself a phone, I have been good.Anthemyra - Archosaur wrote: »u surprise me every day

If he does not play with your purse, don't think you should play with his phone. Actually I personally share anything I have, sometimes I hry sexual inside joke texts which I clearly make whoever I would be seeing aware of them. But I just hate snooping around even when I have nothing to hide. If I do have something to hide, no worries, I will hide them well. (actually im a horrible lier)

Coming back? Well Friday night and Saturday night's are my free time but I am afraid my school has a tradition called St. Patty's day, if you are familiar with St. Patrick day, it is very similar to that but the only thing it symbolizes is Penn State students getting very very drunk. StudmuffinIX - Archosaur wrote: »Kaiser and kaza u guys have made post clearly stating the obvious truths of this server and it's recent events, yet people seem to turn a blind eye or just bs to it. I've finally figured it out. In this server people are too stupid or too ignorant to just accept the truth. People only listen to the power house of said server, and atm that's nemesis. So what ever they say goes (stupid as it may sound it's true -.-).
So here's how to fix that. We beat them. It's exactly how it happend with narla and elusive, people only realized how pathetic and shady narla had become after we beat them. So it looks like we'll have to do it again. And sorry to say but nemesis is the same old narla (same leader and director AND most officers are still the same). And sorry to inform u guys but rescind is not elusive. We have a different leader and different officers, yes a lot of the members are from elusive. But there is a simple reason why we are here, we didn't mix with the other factions on this server. We tried other factions (texas, immunity, etc.). The fact that the factions on this server feed their member **** and the people believe it isn't something that flies with most ex elusive members. We debate argue and seek the truth. And we now know the truth but these people have their heads so far up their asses that they won't accept it even when u say it to them and show them the proof. So for now just ignore true stupidity for now and focus on taking them down and once that's done show people it.
P.s even then who knows if they'll belive us or not and I just don't care anymore, I just feel bad for them
The down fall of narla i would say is more to their own stupid decisions rather than any one else credit. That would include me and many others in and out, though i would not say that elusive wasn't good, they were awesome in terms of TW and a worthy opponent to fight against. Not to forget that Elusive was the only faction to have ever taken down the narla Crystal for the first time and hats off to fluffy on that. About this post there have been numerous post of such kind on all servers SPECIALLY on Heavents Tear, Harshlands, Sanctuary and Lost City but all those made us have some popcorn and some beer and enjoy it reading it nothing more than that. What would happen after u defeat Nemesis say 5 times in a row ? Rescind will be the proven supreme power, 2 days later another person will get bored and make another post and stir up some stuff within game and defeat Rescind ? and it keeps going on and on... brother, rather than focusing on who is dominating why don't you focus on enjoying the TW's you get ? Learn about it a bit, even today after 4 years or so each TW i do teaches me something or the other and i enjoy it, maybe thats the reason that i still play this game or still am around. But yeah emphasizing on why i actually went to comment on this post is Elusive was good for sure but don't purely over shadow the faction Narla, there were a lot of people in it who were good at heart, had a lot of exp in this game than many of us around, and did a splendid job in and out of narla.0 -

I disagree. The thing that made Elusive exceptional (not meaning "super awesome", but meaning "apart from the ordinary") is that they formed and went out of their way to take down the top faction and made no bones about it - not befriend them, not become their lap dog, and not try to do it secretly or with deception. I sincerely doubt that "2 days later" anyone else will do anything of the kind. It took forever for the server to assemble the first elusive, LONG after Narla bested Impulse.
In fact, in the history of the server, it happened only once, really. Not "2 days later" by any stretch of the imagination.

Narla was great, until it started being more about taking the map and less about what it originally was (or at least seemed to be): a faction that took pride in excellence - win, lose or draw - not mere power.

Nope, I disagree. Narla was formed from the very first day with it's first and foremost priority of taking over the map. Rob planned it before the server ever even opened. The reason the pride in excellence (win, lose or draw I might find debatable) but however, the pride in excellence came because Rob led the faction with a strong sense of pride himself which his members were influenced by and he was very, very good at keeping everyone driven towards excellence. Don't be fooled though, he pushed for that with one end goal in mind and that was TO OWN THE MAP!! He has never denied that, ever.0 -

Nope, you misunderstand me. I simply was responding to Blood's post about what he believed Narla stood for and how Rob was perceived in Narla and how that made him a good leader for meeting his objectives. Whatever else I might or might not believe about Rob has no bearing on the point I was making and whatever my current leader might or might not believe about Rob has nothing to do with it either.0 -
