Somebody grab some quarantine gear before the pointless blob that is Harshland's version of Yulk comes spewing more of her corrosive toxin into the air: FYI-->Stupidity.
I couldn't begin to name all the people who would LOVE for you to either switch servers, or leave.

Lets set up an analogy, shall we?
You go out and buy a new amazing 4D television for $5000. The next day, a sale is announced for the TVs. The sale price is $2500. You cannot go back to the store and demand compensation because you decided to buy the day before they announced the sale.b:bye
Actually you can just return the item and repurchase it under the new price, so idk what you're talking about o.o. (If we're using the next day scenario)
And lol at whoever said you could farm rank 8 or 9 with DQ points. (Rank 8 with my wizard's current 6.8k rep would require 7.6 million Dragon points to achieve.)
If they really just wanted to make rank easier to get like they say, they would lower DP cost on badges by 90% also.
Also, I think the thing that some people are missing is that in real life item's value depreciates slowly. You know that expensive TV you bought will be cheaper later, that's how life works. But the problem with PWI is that they don't let items get cheaper gradually.
The original rep sale was ok. It didn't make rank 8 or 9 cheap but it did bring price down from where it was. Then they could have had another sale on it later, but just a little better deal.
But to drop their original sale price by 90%... that was just pure "Not enough people are buying it, let's drop the price."
And we all know PW Co. is not hurting, they made 269 mil in gross profits this year. They can't claim they need more money.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Once upon a time, I was in Equinox. That was one of my first factions, and I loved it with all of my heart. Putting it into terms only a Harshlander who hates Zulu would understand-- Calamity is like the Zulu of Dreamweaver, and Equinox is like Kylin....with less suck.
That, and I don't particularly feel like facing former rivals with Rank 8/9... >.> especially when wearing +10 TT99...0 -

But the term profit refers to any money after expenses no?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Where "gross profit", the term the poster mentioned, is an accounting term, one you might learn in an accounting class. "Gross profit", which that player used, is part of the calculation of net income on the income statement (which is used to translate to the balance sheet) as the formula for net income is: Net income=Gross profit-operating expenses-tax-interest. So this..Ohh, ok, so the only element to a company's portfolio is their "gross profits". Now that companies don't have expenses to incur and only get their revenue counted, I should probably start one now. b:dirty
.. is very much correct.0
