Veno's are wood based, clerics are metal. wood is weak to metal, yet still i beat my 101 cleric husband in 2 hits, without pet, spark or genie skills.
it all comes down to who gets the first stun and when ever i use soultransfusion.

Same goes for a BM, if i get the first stun in, or use soultransfusion as the right time, bramble or foxform i can beat a BM. havent been up to a 5 APS before and i aint gonna bother either. might be hypocritical of me to say, but to be honest it's even MORE so who gets the first stun in.

they stun me, i'm dead no matter what, bramble HOOD included. if i stun them... i estimate that to be a fat chance. But then again... i dont pvp. just duel for fun.

Bramble is an actual veno defence skill because were hella squishy for melee and stun.

the classes themselves are perfectly balanced. what makes it unbalanced is someone using +12 gear against someone that doesnt have +12 gear. it becomes balanced again when that same person that doesnt have +12 gear gets +12 gear to beat the other guy that has +12 gear. thats how f2p games are meant to work out.

e_e And ofc, there are those people that are always saying "But what about all the hard work and stuff and making it worth it?" Like I said, you can do it the easy way or the hard way. If you do it the hard way, congrats and more power to you once you reach your goal. But there should be no reason why you should be bashing CSers just because they get the same goal as you faster (and effortlessly o_<) than you do - they are the ones helping to keep the game alive.

Anyway, I did think it was awful risky of PW to do this sale anyway but they stuck the new expansion around the corner and I'm sure all those people that said that they quit the game will return because of curiosity and if they are interested enough, they will make an alt lol.

Yanami, if everyone kept doing that everything would only get worse. I charge zen every now and then, but by PWI's economy slandered if it continues gold will become 3mil, coin will become worthless and people will be trading with items. Not only that but the free "new" generation of players (on average) play until around level 50 or so before they charge zen. If this is the case the free players will have no hope of playing as cash shoppers will effectively rule the game.... They will only stay for so long, so who will replace them?

Bottom line, everyone charging $10 a day is NOT the way of fixing the game, only making it worse and PWI will struggle to pull in more players as a result of this.

On a side note, none cash shop players are just as impotent ans cash shop players as they farm the coin, work hard and put the time in to generate that coin you see in the auctioneer today. It's this balance of cs and none cs which effectively keep things in line, cross the line and one becomes in balance which causes a crippling effect to one half of the game.

The end result depends, some of these players may own a big blogger site, others maybe reviewing the game, others may just bad mouth the game in general or on Youtube/other forums or maybe on other social networking sites. This is what is going to make things harder for PWI, advertising costs. Bare in mind they are not the only "free to play" game here.

I don't care how skilled of a player someone is. When you have +5 armor and get hit by a +10 wep you're gonna get ***** so hard so fast it's not even funny.

Funny how almost all of the people that say **** like this only play half the game. They hide in blue name status and never pvp, tw or pk so they don't know how truly unbalanced things are.

PvE is only half the game. The reason it's not so unbalanced to you is because you hide from the other half.

people seriously need to stop assuming that every high lvl with a different point of view than yours is an oracle and hyper baby, SHEESH !

The statement is wrong. Once an MMO goes downhill, there is no amount of new people coming in that will make it rise back up to the top. They will simply feel the same way as the players before them and start quitting as well. I've seen it through my years playing online games. Granted, yes, i think alot of new time players starting NOW will run out that door asap.
but as soon as the forum whining and in game hype on sales and high price items dies down there will still be anough players who stick around.
Of course, as you said, the game will NEVER be what it used to be.
and also yes, we as players have part to blame as well, as much as the developers.

The game is not dead for those who "play for fun" and "don't cash shop", and "don't care what other people have". In other words, the game is still fun for those that don't bring money into PWI.

Ironically, the game is dead for those who do play and charge competitively, probably PWI's biggest payers.

That's why PWI is being so stupid. You should be able to have things others do not because you paid more money or spent more time than others have on obtaining something. It's only logical. Otherwise, why spend the time and money?

EXACTLY RIGHT? People are going to be much less likely to heavily charge for this game. Unless you get some peeps entering the game who didn't know about how the company works. LOL
