Will "Genesis" Kill PWI Definitely, Or Has PWE Really Learned Something This Time?

I facepalm at the number of people who felt the need to enlarge their e-peens and post counts by flaming a perfectly legitimate question in a perfectly legitimate thread. TL wasn't QQing, wasn't whining, wasn't trolling. He used admirable grammar, syntax, and responded to each flame very professionally.
Seriously guys, he was looking for your opinion; a discussion, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... everyone has to flame, has to troll, has to accuse, has play the ban-hammer game.

Now, to actually answer the question, yeah I agree that 5aps, oracles, hypers noobs, insta-level items (not sure what those event items are called) have all but killed the trinity in this game. It seems everyone is an OP sin, BM, clawcher; hell, even barbs have been pulled into the 5.0 game in order to survive. Game is already dead...it's not an MMO anymore; it's cash cow filled with "god classes."

However, I don't think this game will ever die completely, way to many people spending money on it and, in all honestly, CSers aside, it's a really good game. It's free, awesome character customizations, graphics are very impressive for such an old game, it have a great romance to it for couple to immerse themselves in, and there still is a proper, trinity0based game to play if you can just find those uncommon purists to team up with.

I do hope that whatever they do with Genesis, it adds something that pushes the older players away and brings new ones in. Refresh the player base a little and bring back what so good about this game.

...but who am I kidding? GMs have their heads too deep in their money to care about our sentimental desires...

ok well I didn't read any of the posts after the OP. heck i only really read the tittle. but their is one simple thing about pwi. THEY DO NOT LEARN. if it makes them money they don't care. they won't try to balance the game or anything. the'll leave the game completely broken and break it even further, and empty peoples banks and raise credit card bills. heck the'd even ruin some peoples entertainment just to make a quick buck. so NO THEY HAVE NOTLEARNED.

You can try copying and pasting again, only this time delete and type in new quotation marks. The same goes for apostrophes as well, so keep an eye out for those too.

That would be the "new player base". Not all of them; but in general the majority belong to the "new player base". I'm pretty sure you know how it is.

So all this was just a misunderstanding. It happens, you can't always see the meanings and reasons behind the typed words and after awhile you begin to see what you think is further proof of your original claim and it snowballs even bigger. After it's all over and you see what really happened I think you just have to step back, be human and laugh.

I see a lot of complaints all over the place, those are what make me want to stop playing. There is a glitch in the game. Tell a GM and get over it. Want to know why they don't fix the glitch. They are deleting your complaints about it and getting annoyed. b:infuriated

But um, it is a false positive, (checked with Kapersky Internet Security 2010). Try paying for antivirus software, if you actually need it. I got mine free while testing Windows 7... I like it a lot, but keep disabled most of the time..

But uh, if you don't know anything about computers, (which obviously you don't if you're undoubtedly trusting Avira...), just don't comment. bit.ly is a very popular ending for shortened links, and if you didn't even know that I don't know why you're bothering to turn on the computer, you obviously don't know enough about the internet to use it..

Also, if OP's link was bad, wouldn't the GM have banned him and removed it already? Damn you can even google it, it's not like anyone is that stupid.

Obviously nothing is going to be done or has been, so why you would waste time summarizing the amazing capitalist meltdown of a video game is beyond me. Yes, the GMs/devs/forum mods/player base know about all of this. No, bringing it up again and again won't help anything. After the thousands of complaints, comments, and emails they've probably read, why would another one matter? If they cared it would be resolved, or maybe it's not even in their power. PWI is actually Wan Mei you have to remember, and the devs in China do a lot of the things we hate so dearly. (AKA DQ price reduction.)

Why aren't the glitches in BH fixed? Dunno. Why do we stiiiillll have the rubberbanding problem and RB issues? Again, dunno. But writing a million posts and responding to a milllion more QQers won't get anyone to listen any better than they already did, especially since they obviously know the problem.

I love quotes. But I don't like cliche'. That's when quotes and such are used for lack of better input. I use words that are appropriate because I have them in my vocabulary. Disagreeing carries an inherent element of conflict, attrition and contrast; there are none of those if two people agree. If I have a view, and you have another, that's fine. It often happens that people discuss it, or even heatedly debate it. It's not necessarily a conversion crusade.

Agreed with you on all accounts. It's evident that it won't be this one post that changes the direction of PWE. Not that I was cocky to the extent of expecting it.

In the end, it is nothing that hasn't been said before, you're absolutely right. Nevertheless, people will talk about what a miserable, rainy day it is... even though yesterday was the same (fortunately for me, I live in sunny Portugal )

No, I play PWI only. In fact, the only MMORPG comments throughout the entire blog came up for the first time ever yesterday. There's nothing else in the blog on MMO's except for one post done earlier this year where I mentioned I like MMO's. Hardly a crime. Do you like MMO's? You play PWI too. I did try some of the other PWE titles, but didn't like them. Trying never hurts. In fact, I'm the guy who half the time has no idea what people are talking about when they mention other MMO's in the chats

Actually, I have quite a good life. It allows to have me a wealth of freedom and financial status to play the game on my terms. Tell Shinzoko he's fail and has no life. As far as I'm concerned, I feel good to be in business. No, I don't run Microsoft, so I don't work 20 hours a day in my business(es). I have a beautiful wife, and a wonderful son, plus a good social life with friends often dropping by at my villa with pool a few minutes' walk from the beach in Portugal.
