You, sir, have hijacked a spot in the forums that could have been used for more...constructive topics. Thus, by posting in such a way that you attempt to scare players away from this game, you are a worse troll than any trolls that could "hijack" your thread.

I give you a chance to SHOW me where in my original post (as per the one on my website) was I:

    1. Scaring people away from the game.
    2. Not being constructive in my debate.
    3. Not stating FACTUAL consensus from other players' past comments.
    4. Not highlighting REAL issues with PWI
    5. Not saying that, I for one, HAD NO ISSUES PERSONALLY with the game, since I'd keep on playing.

Go on. Show me. Prove it.

If you can't be bothered to prove how "wrong" I am, don't bother answering. Because I am entirely right on ALL accounts of this.

    A joke.

    See for yourself here.

No, that's not a virus / malware either...

This means NOT flaming someone for posing a simple inquiry on how other people are thinking on certain matters at hands. Certain things that are being talked about in the hallways, creeps around in the back of your mind or even your Faction chat.

Thanks for the heads-up on this link! Seriously it's a real help to the player base if anyone finds a problem with links connected with posts, intentional or not. I personally never click on any links here because there are so many problems with unknown or alt posters on the forums, but I still do appreciate it when bad links are exposed so that other players don't end up with problems from it.

As much as I would like to have these boards monitored more closely for these and other such problems I can only state again how helpful it is when the players themselves monitor them and we end up looking out for each other.

Learn how software works first, how anti-viruses are mostly ****, and a sandbox + firewall and some knowledge of security can make you more informed. You know, experience the stuff yourself and prove it yourself (whether it's virus or not) instead of relying on some crappy piece of software to tell you.

Furthermore, as long as you use a browser with disabled java-script per default (e.g: firefox with NoScript addon) and the page works, there is no reason to enable javascript. And without any plugins and scripts, a html page is just a piece of formatted text.

Read the comments on the blog.

What comments? Your blog appears to be a crappy marketing blog judging by the fact that the only comments appear to be on the recent post about Perfect World (and by the suspicious keywords on the right). Also, a search of your website reveals zero results in Google for the words Avira, virus, or malware. So, you appear to be lying about there already being comments about false-positives on your site (not really surprised).

I've visited thousands of sites and yours (a suspiciously SEO-styled blog) is the only one in ages that has a warning pop up for me, and you want to blame a false positive? Occam's razor would like a word with you.

I hope it wont close, cause i for one am fond civil and NORMAL discussions instead of lunatics thinking they KNOW it all and surpass the actual matter.

No problem TL, though in a way i should slap your virtual fingers as well. You said you wouldn't comment anymore to any of these posts consistant of witless banter and mindless accusation that pass the point of of this discussion. and i think you shouldn't either.
They want to rave and rant about a supposed bug, that's their choice, dont let it swallow you original point, The fact that everyone complains but when they can actually hit the spotlight put their foot in their mouth cause their thread could be closed and noted by the admins.

You and many more, correct me if i'm wrong, fear more new classes being oracled, Cs-ed and Hyper stoned to a high lvl but them knowing jack about what it really does and them only running around screaming, look at me being a high lvl in a new class!. whoopteedoo!
Eye opener, there already are, there will always be and there will be more to come in ANY race.
It's something ALL people need to understand.

They can and WILL not ever have the power to change that fact or change the basic of a game such a PW. Base line ? Money.

Sure, Every game starts out with a good samaritan thinking: "I want to bring joy and entertainment to the people with my idea." But to make such an idea thrive and prosper it needs funding. Funding means effort en effort is never free.

Like you said yourself just because the Sin next of you got his newest gear fully maxed and refined with real life cash doesn't mean YOU have to. Once again ALL people need to realize this. If they dont want to spend that much money on it then they dont HAVE to.
But just like any other choice there's a pro and a con to each of the,

-No CS means putting in more and creative efforts in attaining the items you want.
-Yes CS means having a advantage of those that dont.
-Abundant CS usage means you have daddy's creditcard or your so used to having acces to it and can afford to do so.

All of the above mentioned still doesn't mean you KNOW how to play your class. STILL doesn't mean a game will consist of all -good- players.
It will mean how ever, just like Real Life a game gets more paralel to it and it starts to take shape and mold to the overall decisions made.

QQing is inevitable because we all have different standards and ecpectations. Marking a flaw where there should be none is a whole different story all together.

What comments? Your blog appears to be a crappy marketing blog...

Oh boy, here we go again.... sheesh. I thought you were done, pal.

It's a personal blog. It's not my business website.

Find me a post with any affiliate links in it. Find any banners promoting stuff. Find me any AdSense blocks in there, go on.

This blog started many months back, and was never intended to be monetised. That it talks about marketing (among many other things) is secondary, as it's one of my passions as well as livelihood.
... the only comments appear to be on the recent post about Perfect World

No, there are two other comments. One is on my about page (which I had to hide a few hours ago because of overzealous, improvised Gestapo scrutiny folks like you), and the other is on the Marketing page. It's not much, and it's not a big deal to me. It was never intended to be commented on, as you will see later.
...(and by the suspicious keywords on the right).

Those "suspicious keywords on the right" are called tags. If you don't know what they are, you shouldn't try to look smart by commenting on them. I will eat you up in a heartbeat, because NOW you're in my livelihood and a part of my business. Do NOT try to tango with me here, or you will lose any debate. This is how I make a part of my money. I will eat you alive, here.

Now, let me illuminate you. Those tags, whether Meta or used for other KW optimisation techniques, are a natural part of the on-page SEO, and help get the site indexed. They also help readers find topics of interest based on tag clouds.

Don't. You'd lose that one, too. So learn before you speak.

As for what comments, let me ask you: what are we talking about? PWI! Thus, the comments I am referring to are the ones in the PWI post. Like, DUH!

Whether or not people comment on it, is relative. It's a personal thing. I get to it only if I feel like it. I have plenty else to keep me busy and well-remunerated.
Also, a search of your website reveals zero results in Google for the words Avira, virus, or malware.

Surprise surprise. Why in the HELL would I think of optimising my pages for the keywords and KW phrases: Avira, virus, malware?? Of course you won't find anything there.

I might turn up for a number of posts which are optimised for other KW's. But I don't have any content on my blog about Antivirus Software, Malware, or any LSI themed KW's.

Don't know what LSI is? Tough. Look it up. That said, it's a DUH! that you won't find me indexed in Google (or any search engine) for those keywords. Hello. Goodbye.
I've visited thousands of sites and yours (a suspiciously SEO-styled blog)

And I retort that any blog should try to be SEO optimised. Hello. As for "SEO-styled", I don't even know what the heck you intend. Do you want to start another discussion on CSS, Themes, etc?
So, you appear to be lying about there already being comments about false-positives on your site (not really surprised).

You asked about comments. You did not specifically say "false positives". My reply was that people are reading the blog, and are siding with me via their comments.... unlike your erroneous label of "inane drivel". THAT is what we were talking about. Not false positives per se.

As far as dodgy elements being on my blog, I am still waiting for SS's of a reputable and and industry respected AV scan (PAID, not FREE like Avira). Show me.
Occam's razor would like a word with you.
That's probably all I'd get out of it, too... ONE word. Occam's razor is certainly not my style. I love being prosaic and verbose.

    Peace,
