I am not an OP Essence fist BM, if that is your index of being any factor, or entitlement to have an opinion.

And, if you'd read better you'd have seen that I made a big point of saying there is no AdSense, no bannerspace, no affiliate link or anything of the sorts on my page. It's a personal blog. There is no monetisation on it whatsoever, no advertising, no nada zippo zilch anything.

In fact, if anything at all, it's eating away at my bandwidth. It's had over 1k unique visitors, and over 38k hits, for over 2GB of Bandwidth. I rest my case.

The only reason it's posted THERE NOW is because PWI deleted it on THEIR system.

Then I got to the part about how Warsoul weapons should be cheaper and if somebody spends $600 on Packs they should be guaranteed to get some high-level items.

I didn't say Warsoul should be cheaper.

I said they were virtually unobtainable; how many toons have one? And now that the FF drops are gone, it's even more so the case. Sure they are the ultimate weapons, sure they should be particularly difficult to get; however, they shouldn't be hindered further by the elimination of the one thing that made it mostly "do-able", i.e. FF drops.

That is what I said.

The one thing which, in retrospect, may not have been exactly spot on is the "guarantee" of something special resulting from spending $600 on Anni's. I can understand the frustration of someone spending that kind of money for it; in the end, it is a random thing. Perhaps, this may have been the sole point that may not have been entirely spot on.

Did you ever do old FC? It was a nightmare and so was not worth the drops.

Also, most people that make Warsoul weapons use chips from what I've seen.

Old FF was indeed harder, but it partly paid off with curvades and mats; you could do things with them.

Most people use chips because that's easily the most practical way to do it, I agree.

There are much more efficient ways to shut TL down, rather than trolling the thread saying there's a virus on a clean page. Regardless, I see your point, TL, in the fact that they dumbed down instances, removed mats from Lunar, hemorrhaged packs and made the best gear in the game, realistically, unobtainable. There is however another side, from my stand point. I've been playing since day two or three of OB and, in that light, have also seen every update and alteration this game has had.

While I am interested in the new expansion I think that this will be too little too late. There is still no word on APS being nurfed, no word on assassins being nurfed and there's still a constant barrage of updates making gear more and more unobtainable.

Example: RedsRose is a rank 8 EP, she took a GM with her and a full squad of 101's into HH3-3 and proved, undoubtedly, the instance is almost imposable. Nothing has been done to change it.

Most, if not all, the real veterans are moving to FW because they're sick of the disservice they've received and there's nothing that's going to change that. The game has been unbalanced and they have been doing nothing (Not even reassuring us) to fix it. I like this game, the style, the customization abilities and the competitive nature of the gameplay in all facets offered, however, I don't believe this will save their game. I appreciate and hope your outcome paradigm comes to pass, but I think this game is dead. This expansion is just beating the horse some more.

Haven't we heard these fears/worries/complaints before? When Raging Tide was released everyone freaked out too. They were worried about the economy, balance of classes, TW etc., but it wound up giving a little breath of life back to PWI. Now I'm not saying that RT did more damage starting out than good, but as it further advanced the game started to become more stable, and the population/economy started to get better. The population boom brought with it its own small bit of stability.

This is going to be a rocky expansion, but then again... EVERY MMO has rocky expansions when they first release, even high end production games like WoW. I have faith in this expansion, and believe it will give PWI what it needs, maybe not at first, but in the long run.

Uh, my AV works without any warnings on basically every single legit website/blog out there. I can't even think of any other site that's caused it to detect malware as soon as I load the page. I'm sorry; why exactly is it my fault that his site sucks?

Furthermore, the constant whining about the game being "ZOMG ITS A PAY2PLAY" or various other changes making vets butthurt isn't helping the game. Word of mouth not only helps spread a good MMO around, but it can also sink a perfectly fine MMO. I wonder how many players haven't bothered to try PWI out because they've checked the forums first for a feel of what the playerbase thinks, and has gotten a bad impression from what is potentially a vocal minority?

It's one thing if it's supposed to be constructive criticism, but it's almost all "PWI is dead"/"PWE is killing Perfect World!!1111eleventy" from people who don't sound even remotely like they actually want Perfect World International to survive. If an MMO I liked were doing badly, you'd think I'd try phrasing my criticism posts in a more positive way so I don't go scaring potential players away so my MMO has a change to improve.

Nah, if it was just the vets remaking, the server load wouldn't have gone up on the servers, it would have stayed the same. They had a boom from returning players and newbies. Though I do agree, a great deal of vets bailed rofl

You are entirely off target. Let me explain this to you, so you understand.

First off, my comment was made in the "News" section announcing Genesis.

It was deleted.

I thought something went wrong, so I posted it again. It got deleted again.

This kicked off the "crusade", as some people have likened my posting to, since PWI then deleted my question about why they deleted my post.

So what did I do? I posted it to my blog, where it wasn't going to be deleted.

I posted a URL-shortened link with bit.ly to the blog. Why bitly? Because I was not shamelessly self-promoting my blog. Instead of "advertising" my own URL, I posted a shortlink.

So, in recap: it went to news, got deleted; went to forum, got deleted; went to my blog, and was shortlinked. Only after these three, did I even make ONE single post with the actual URL, thinking something was amiss in the shortlink redirect. If had planned to advertise, I would have done so from the start.

The whining is what other people are doing. And they are also doing it by going way the hell off-topic. These trolls have hijacked the essence of the post, a post which was written in the perspective of highlighting what a mass consensus of PWI players are saying (and have said), and furthermore pointing out (I'll say it again) how I - me, myself - am NOT overly concerned about what's happened.

Do I have an opinion? Of course I do. Am I entitled to be the person who writes about this, and the "vox populi". Of course I am.

But that doesn't mean I am overly concerned about the game. I have opinions about prostitution and AIDS, as well, but I am no too concerned about them - I still have fun with my wife (but don't do drugs! b:victory ).

Notwithstanding what I pointed out in the post, I still play (and pay), and I personally have no issues in doing so. Read the post. Find where I say this. It may open your eyes to exactly what the heck this is all about.

That the game has gone downhill, it's a given. You reach a certain point, and wonder why you keep playing. Is it fun? Yes, for the most part it still is. But the attitude of the Management in not heeding their players' feedback with glitches, and their lack of inventiveness are generally frustrating. As much as you may like the game, you won't enjoy having a fail Rebirth because of going back to 1K.

Yes, it's a business venture. Yes, it's about making money. But listen to your customers! They are the ones giving you the same feedback (and paying you for it), that a highly priced consultant like myself would actually charge you for.

You may think my replying to these comments only adds petrol to the fire. Possibly. But why should I take **** like this sitting down, when they are wrong?

yawnish I can't believe after 2 years things like this still happen.................. People were so convinced EVERYTHING THAT HAS EVER BEEN PUT INTO THE GAME will kill the game. Yet here we are 2+ years into it and still no death funny thing that huh?

Yes cash shopping gets you in good standings but that by no means is the only thing you can do. I am horribly sick of this same argument the reality of the situation is everything PWE seems to do with the game gets people complaining so why the hell should they even listen anymore. Check this almost exactly 2 years ago PWI had its first Halloween event it wasn't grand but it was fun. Just under 2 years ago PWI had its first x-mas event it wasn't outstanding but it was fun. Whats the similarity of these two things? Every bit and piece of such events were picked apart and called fail and the "vocal members" quit. The ones that stayed liked it and requested it next year and it was fun but more things get added and they yell and scream at those like their predecessors did. And guess what? People quit over that and they quit over every tiny change to the game that they never actually give a chance just mostly get hyped up cause everyone is saying how bad it is. My point is stop spreading the hate no one wants any. And yes because of those "vocal members" even perfectly logical critical suggestions that might actually help if they were supported will be viewed as obnoxious threats and no one will care about it. I have read this forum for 2 years now and every time something gets altered even if it doesn't change anything people want to yell and say the game is dying so well guess what I am waiting if its going down then I guess I am going down with the ship.

In reality I read about half of what you wrote as I have read pretty much everything you have wrote hundreds of times before mostly in that format even so I felt it necessary to skim.

Threads like this are pointless since this is a game, should be done for fun, if someone it's taking it too serius than probably crossed the line and should take a break.

I don't care about the uber CS, this game is run by a company that try to archive earning, it's not done for charity, i'll simply stay here till i'll find it funny than i'll move (whitout tons of threads of goodbye, i'll say it in game to the few people i care whit PM, not even worldchat).

Genesis will add more things to do and places to explore, this can't kill the game.The new classes? Probably they'll be strong but i'm sure that will be some balace, like what was done whit the tideborns. Yes because is balanced, if you take a 5.0 + 12 sin as exemple of not balance than you are an idiot, as sin whit rank 8 (needed for 5.0) weapon +12 (nirvana weapon,not TT) it's NOT a normal char. Everything whit that amount of money will be uber overpowered. I'm a free player, just 1 tt99 gold now (asura bracers, farmed) and i can say that it's balanced, belive it or not.

Take it easy, it's just a game don't deserve so much, and not because it's not a good game.

I think that what's actually happenning is that new thing always scares, most ppl don't like changes, and veteran players aren't accepting that things changes over time, they loved the game as it was before, and they want to keep it that way, that's why they are annoyed.

But we new players, as we don't know much about how the game was before, can see that the game is not' that bad, nor dieing, and at least me, I enjoy this game a lot, and can't wait to see the new expansion in game!

you uploaded the image to a public server, you put it in a public directory, the posted link is not a copy of the image, the posted link leads people to your site. the fact that it can be accessed without looking at the HTML code on your site is completely irrelevant. your privacy has not been breached, your image rights have not been trampled, you have absolutely no claim. nobody is looking at a world of trouble for anything, GTFO.

If the GM helped then the boss would be dead in seconds, making the whole idea of proving that the instance is too hard pointless.

GM's can actually go into instances with you without being in your squad aswell (I've had a visit from one a few times before, without them being in my squad).

The level cap might be 105, but it's pretty hard to get. The highest player(s) is/are 104 right now. There's no huge benefits from those 4 levels either (except 20 stat points and a little extra hp/mp).

Even if people are able to do it eventually, it will take a lot of very well geared people that basically ''beat the game'' already, leaving the people that actually need the mats in that dungeon for equipment behind.
