I hope you aren't serious. Pretty much after the update only one boss I cannot tank anymore. All the other bosses that I cannot tank in HH, I was never able to do it even when it was easy.
The boss I cannot tank anymore is behemoth in 3-1 which I wasn't killing anyway because its drop rate is horrible (0-1 GBA per runs, no thank you!).0 -

I am currently seeking legal advice on how about getting this started. It has been done and its not impossible even by their tos if they sell a product and the product has a specific purpose and it fulfills that purpose there isnt a problem but if they some how make that product not functional to its sole purpose by their doing the product should either be replaced or made to function as it was intended to at time of said purchase or refunded. i will update more on this once aware of how to get this started from legal aid.

Its not only beast tho, its Steelation to. Venos with herc could solo for Ribbons in 3-1 before update. Veno could even tank Steelation in 3-2 and 3-3 with cleric or a second veno assisting before patch. Same with Emperor in 3-2, ive seen it tanked by venos.
But yeah its only a few bosses, doubt thats enough for a lawsuit lol0 -

Not actually true.
And I have a matching Golem also - as a backup tanker or who hits when the instance I am in has a Tanker (that might take aggro from my hercules).
Here are some examples of why I have a hercules:
1 - to solo the level 106 sand worms in Cromagnon Village (since level 70).
2 - to solo my own BH's (59, 79) w/o the need for an entire team.
3 - to specficially solo bh 59 for the drops that give me reputation and the nice purple 3 stars from the bosses.
4 - to aoe using my herc (rounds up mobs and holds aggro) and I use my 79 aoe fox form skill and my human aoe skills to basically self-aoe.
5 - do my own culti bosses/quests - w/o need to find a party.
6 - when you get higher level the herc is pretty decent at using in TW around crystal on the dd'ers (he reflects their physical damage back - and when hes level 101 this is .. owie).
And again - I always have a Golem my level also...
I also like my phoenix for getting air mobs FAST but I also have a back up bee. The bee does not get stuck when your on land like the nix does. But the nix is very very fast moving.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

When you get to the third map in Chronos you will see why a nix is a good choice for a pet to kill mobs.
The speed - is amazing, not just the speed of kill but the speed which it flies. I used to stand in VOS and put my nix on defend as I killed and it is very very fast. I agree it gets stuck, so in land that has bumps I use my bee. But I do prefer the lightening speed of the nix.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Yeah those guys could too, but that's absolute end-game when they can solo stuff. Venos can use the hercules pet to solo things throughout the entire game, if I'm not mistaken. Feels like they've developed a particular sense of entitlement to being able to solo, whereas the 5aps BMs and sins and so on JUST started doing it at the very end of the game. Most complaining I've heard has come from venos; everyone's complaining, but venos are the ones that seem to find it outrageous that they can't solo it.I AGOREY0 -
To Original Poster:
Lets believe for a moment that you won your little Legal battle with pwi. What would happen with the game? First of all, You wont get all that money for your lawsuit, you'd likely get less than 40% after legal fees, and other charges. Second of all, you wouldnt get it all at once, meaning that you'd probably get a mediocre sum every few months that wouldnt help pay for anything. Thirdly, PwE would be forced to shut down certain up coming games in order to pay out your greed. Pwi would change more dramatically, requiring the game to become moreso cash shop related than it already is. You're friends you made in game would develop hatred towards you because you took away their game that they so enjoy. People employed by PwE would be layed off, to compensate for your greed.
Solution?
Accept the fact that you spent money on a game that has no monitary value. Also accept the fact that In Pwi, you own NOTHING. In MMORPG's you own nothing, you simply pay for a service, not property. Think of pwi as a spa treatement, you go to the spa, get a massage, and then leave. Tada Service done.
Here's what you have to ask yourself and the only way you can win this Legal battle:
Did Pwi provide you a means to aquire the service you requested? Your goal was to buy a hercules Legendary pet, did they provide it?
the answer is yes. if they didn't you may have an argument for legal action.
In the discription of the Legendary Hercules pet egg, does it say anywhere in its text that it can solo TT? The answer there is no, a Hercules serves the purpose of off tanking, much the same as a Blademaster/sin in a squad. If the Barb/main tank dies, then the off tank takes over.
Did PwE Require you to purchase a Legendary Hercules pet egg in any means to complete portions of the game, or lead to the dillusion that PWI was not free to play in anyway?
Did Pwi force you in anyway to purchase a Legendary Hercules Pet Egg through physical means? Or did they use in game adds to mislead you into believing that the afformentioned item was required in anyway?
the answer is no, Pwi provides means to aquire every item you aquired in game, free of charge. It was your decision to aquire a Legendary Hercules pet egg in the means that you did. PwE in no way can force anyone to purchase anything, in any physical means. They're no in game adds or billboards saying "BUY NOW!!!"

im not fully comparing veno cost with bm/sin cost but im saying that is not kinda cheap to solo bosses past deathflow in 3-2/3-3. bosses like emperor/illusion/colluseast required that kind of stuff to do it. even cheaper sins with just a cleric could do it before0 -

I've been building up my gear for the sole purpose of being able to solo a 3-3 run as an accomplishment. I now have 15k buffed HP and like 100k dps which should be enough to do what cheezedude did long ago. However due to the increased boss difficulty and the removal of dominance blessings I will not be able to do this as I hoped.
Should I be able to sue?
In general I think it comes down to this. You paid for a herc and you got a herc. No matter what change happened in some dungeon its still a herc and operates as advertised.
Personally I think if you ever feel like suing PWE you should charge them of unlicensed online gambling for all these packs they let people buy with real money.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Maybe venos should try to sue PWE because phoenixes can no longer kill people in 2 seconds at high levels due to +8 and up nirvana gear? Causing the pets to be fairly worthless in pvp due to their low damage compared to that equipment?
After all, according to some people the ONLY reason to get a phoenix is to pk, and its not good for that anymore at high levels. Same idea right?
