    ...map was grey, Wargasm was lvl 50 spamming the world chat pking with TE members, TE tried for few weeks in a row to get on DWP XD
    finally they did, 1st land taken with BM Blaze as guild leader, later his rl gf logged on his acc swiched lead and changed her password.. blaze was sad heh.

    I was in TE2 then Dragons, my 1st TW faction, thats the oldest guild on the server btw. Radiance was made during the 1st day of HT but a bit later that day XD

    At that time, only TE, Evo, Dragons, Rad and Elysium were on map.

    note: Shuggy and Crush did level very fast only via fb's. To get in fb70 with Wargasm was a huge thing then, most xp also for quite some time D:

    TW with Genesis..having to meet 2 hours before the TW started so we could be organized..
    Zhenning like mad to level up from 59-82
    Grinding in OHT on Array Sentries from 82-89
    Being part of the first 9 people to beat rebirth delta..people like the REAL xForb..Torm..pinokio and them.
    100k gold prices come back!
    Staying up until 8:30 am to hit level 99 (because it was huge back then eh!)
    Then hitting 100.
    Then Ai - on lol ^^

    generation 1, i felt the gameplay was way better back then and still remember gold being 100k :D .

    More reason people had to grind their way i remember grinding on demonic rogueknights and stoney boogins on crusade orders and OMA (1 man army), i find it really stupid now that anyone can just go to lvl 100 in 1 month or less, they also destroyed some classes up with the roles they play, for example "barbs are suppose to be the tanks" , having 5APS should only be obtainable on a private server and +12 gear, i can see this game bring out warsoul packs next....

    Nobody really wanted Venos in Zhen squads and quests were getting few and far between after levels 70+
    Had to do justice quests to level 80 >.> And grinding at huggy hares lol

    Old FF instance was impossible to complete although there was a quest given to us at level 80(?).
    Did some DQ quests to sell silver/gold orders for those who wanted the shiny horses.......which eventually became available in boutique b:thanks

    Fun days.

    I played the last week or two of the closed beta and came to Heaven's Tear within the first hour or so of "open beta". I remember how funny it was to have every single player on the server trying to kill the same mobs in the low level areas !!!

    I am Generation 1... I joined in December of 2008. When I was level 9-ish the Snowmen came out! b:laugh

    I got a lot of help from those jabbering snowmen early on. There were no anni-packs, no BHs, not much of anything but quests and grinding.

    I leveled up very slowly and have taken breaks, and am just now 99 so I guess I'd be called slow, but I enjoy PW on my own terms b:victory

    Gen 1 here. I remember doing as many justice orders in the swamp as I could fit in a day to get from 60-70 (69-70 is still the longest level I have ever had). My first TW (and still 1 of only 5 I have been in) was in my first stint with Titans (where I have since left and now returned to) when I was lvl 4x. It was against the last couple members of RoC and as I remember, MsE basically wrecked our whole faction solo style.

    I started a 3 month break the month before Anni packs came out the first time. Imagine my surprise when I came back to 400k gold and everyone running around in crazy gear I had never heard of. b:shocked

    Funny how most of the posts in this thread are from 1st Gen...adding my contributions to 1st Gen myself! If you're wondering why I'm still so low level, it's because I went AWOL an entire year for a much needed break (So I missed most of 3rd gen) b:victory

    Anyways, I still remember the time Blessing, Charity, Wargasm, Fina, Hong, Blazeofglory, and the others were playing and PKing like crazy. Oh well, looks like I need to catch up lol.

    Gen 1 for me but i qq so much because of hard lvl (only zen and fish) so i quited for 8 months :)) still atm i miss the old days whit partys for zen and a loot of ppl on map killing mobs and having fun. ATM ppl are just doing bh as a group and maybe blackhole :))

    Gen 1 - dec 2009.
    Tho i never zhened and when i joined my 1st faction my leader and many of the others were already lvl 60-70, i managed to outlvl them all around lvl 90+ (which happened in about 9 months since i started). I havent buy any gold until lvl 80, didnt even know how to use gold trading in AH (<--- noob! b:chuckle). When i started to buy gold it was already at 110-120k. I never quit the game and never slowed down, in less then 1 year i was lvl 101.
    I remember my 1st fashion was sundries pants (was all i could afford back then) and my 1s fashion set was around 60+ summer chipao. My TT60 weapon was farmed in solo TT1-1 me and my friend from previous game (GrayRoses) both healing his shaodu cub and sharing the costs of 1 sub hahaha... i remember when making tt60 magic weapons was a good business. I never used MP charm except the quest one, and never has a HP charm until late 70-80. I remember 1st xmas event, when chips were like 90k each (lol!) then later all the WC "selling chips 35k each... you pay the fee" coz ppl couldnt get their gold mats that easy so they had to chip them, same for mold. I remember farming chips in cube for my lvl 70 molds, a 2 sockets sakyamuni light was godlike! I remember when mysti forest ring was WOW!!! then they reduced the chip amount to 37 chips... but within the 1st days you could still fool ppl and sell them for 4mil (yeah i did it too!! :P)
    I remember when farming subs was a good business... when it 1st got from 50k to 60k later 70k ... when ppl used to farm then around DWP on the so called "Golden cicle" god! i so hated Sheswes (love you baby!! b:chuckle) and Yasmine coz they were always there farming when i got home from work :P well my herc is made out of subs so yeah.. 20 mil farmed with subs.
    i remember getting 10k rep out of FBs, ppl in my faction used to wait for me to do their fbs... when my WQ used to take up to 2 hours coz everytime i got near a questboss i asked in GC if any1 needs him and usually i had about 5 stops at bosses during WQ.
    I remember timing out justice and 1 man army at petali to get about 7 rep/ hour (i think 2 1 man army +1 justice/ hour), later when i got to hell.... 1 man zhenning with my herc... fun times...

    Gen 1 started Sept 08
    left just as genies came out and gold was still under 100k. After 6 hrs and many deaths still only got half way thru frost. Bm's could solo AOE grind, burn a gold HP charm in an hr, and still double their outlay by selling the DQ drops. We'd sit in FB rooms all day for rep and everything was a hard slog.
    Came back and went OMG gold is 400+, whats all this new stuff, and wtf are all these 101's ? never heard of em. :P

    Guess that makes me 1st generation, too. I remember falling in love with OMA/Justice Quest stacking since level 65. At 70+ I grinded in Nightscream and around Lake of Woe. At 80+ I didn't zhen or fish for my exp, just did WQ then grind Rogueknights, those Deathknight Generals, and the goofy named Stoney Boogins. I didn't do Crazy Stone unless I was about to level, because I thought it was way too expensive to waste coin.

    FYI there's a really good Stoney Boogins group you can grind on East of Machinoslit, right next to Sea of Isolation. I haven't told anyone until now, because I considered that "my own spot". Damn, I wonder how many hours I wasted there...

    I remember 87-89 were the longest levels ever. I just could not wait to join the ranks of the sages and demons, and I think it took a month for me to cross that threshold.

    BH came out just as I hit 90, and at 1 BH a day. I went inactive around the time packs started to come out and Frost got revamped. A few months later I came back, and it seemed that I rejoined a whole new game.

    Do we even gratz people anymore for completing their 89 culti? Seemed to me that was such a huge milestone a year ago.

    Generation 1 ftw!

    was surprised when I came back. Gold price is ****, everyone's level 100+. The game turned out to be same as a private server. I'm glad I experienced PW when everything needs to be earn by hardwork. b:victory

    Guild hopped 5 times. Radiance>TheEmpire>Helios>Evolution>ReignOfChaos. Joined enrage but didn't last long so I quit.

    Global drama all around HT.

    No one remembers me anymore b:chuckle

    Gave me a small chuckle since your forum join date is in Sept 2008. :P It's nice to read about what people did back then to level. I'm part of the FB room stalking people and also the Justice Orders. That was true grinding. I remember my days in Swamp of Wraiths... and dying a lot because mobs would spawn behind or near me and aggro me. Q_Q Missy should remember those times.. I always had to whisper her and ask if she was busy and if she wasn't, I'd ask if she could give me a rez. :P

    i remember being in Radiance just shortly after they got lvl 3, but went back to MY EN to be with friends until the lag got so bad its took 2 mins to spam flesh ream :( came back and dragged Westie along with me ;o

    After coming back and being a total nub on the server had to get lvl 65 to get back in Radi

    hours and hours of fishing and zhening and being the only DD in a 5 man zhen squad was awesome....After join Caesar one of the biggest thrills was BMs tryin to kill the zhen by luring too many mobs xD....then fishing (could have done without this experience)

    PVE tw was so much fun :D too bad i didnt get in on some of the first ones, by the time radi took Archo in pve was a cake walk up till the last 2 bosses ( 20 mins of mad dash and 30 person party wipes over and over was fun :D

    I made a lot of great friends back in the day, sooo many who had quit. Now honestly the only way to make friends is through BH (and making alts to BH with every other alt on the server xD)

    Despite the BS i think PWI servers are some of the best run servers, with exception to PW CN (for obvious reasons)

    First fash was chain pants and boots, then i learned of the joys of being pantless b:dirty

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhh the memories....

    Gen 1 here :) I started about a week after servers went up in Sept 2008.

    I've only been in 3 guilds the entire time - Genesis -> Radiance -> Enrage. Amazing that some ex-Genesis are still around like Gale, Carnivorix, Omochi. It was fun participating in those early PVE battles and PVP battles against Dragons, who accused us of hax just because barbs were hiding in cats b:chuckle

    I met lots of people grinding on One Mans near Dreaming Cloud for rep and celestone fragments, such as Quarka :)

    Getting help for bosses was the biggest pain! I always felt bad because we had to get a big group of high levels to help out all the time. So I'll always be thankful to Astoru, IamUGLY, Instinct, Zeffira, Khmer, etc.

    I remember during my 6x and 7x levels there was a double exp event or something. We would zhen for hours and hours...only taking breaks to recast buffs, repair, and sell loot. Sometimes I would fall asleep lol...when I woke up I'd be happy to see everything was still going fine. But sometimes I'd wake up dead and alone :( Or worse dead, kicked out of squad and they're still zhenning on top of me!
