Why do Clerics get to lose exp?

Playing my Cleric atm and i find it unfair Clerics in dungeons get to lose exp by going to town (when they're on cleric in squad, which is often the case) when it's there skill that prevents others from losing exp in the first place. Thoughts? b:victory

I won't complain. Clerics get plenty of perks to make up for it.

I don't rely nor depend on clerics for rez. It is a perk if im in an instance with one, and always appreciated. (if the cleric has lv 11 rez, then i wont buy another (GS) until i'm out of instance, lower rez, i buy another)
However, i refuse to lay somewhere dead for 30 minutes waiting for someone to come and rez me, when I can simply keep an g. scroll in my pocket and respawn immediatly. I haven't been without one since i got around level 80.
IMO if you are to cheap to keep one on you at all times, loose the xp and don't QQ, after all, it is YOUR choice.0 -
Same as in every other game --- it's "just the way it is". Resurrection skills don't usually work on yourself, so if you're the only one with that skills... off you go. That's why your party should never forget that impatience leads to chaos, chaos leads the dark side to you, and everything together in one place leads to a respawn point.Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng0

Ahh well Hun, Each Class has their own thing.
Vecro's Are the only ones that can Have their battle pets.
And lets face is, A barb is always going to be the best Tank.
Assassins, Get the Invisabilty Cloak deal. And Psychics are just... Adorable in my book.
Archers have the long range, And Clerics have the ability to fly without losing Mana at level 1 even. Plus they are always needed, So Losing abit of Exp should'nt be bothered.

nope but res scrolls do.
And as a cleric I try to carry both GS and res scroll.. If im in an instance where I think its forsure death (3-3 arma boss b:shocked)..and I forgot I was out, I ask squad if they have a res scroll or gs on them.. sometimes someone has and is happy to give to me. If I dont use I always give it back at the end.0 -

As a cleric, you almost always get your bh done, many times without paying wine fees. You always get asked to run HH. You are in high demand. Well, as long as you aren't complete fail, but even then some people will just say **** it, we need a cleric and ANYONE will do.

Developer should made Cleric skill Revive not *revive* exp anymore. b:pleased

In my opinion, it is still unfair that everyone else doesn't have to lose so much exp, but if a cleric can't afford a GS and has to go to town, then they will lose more than everyone else.
For example, say you're in an FCC, you're using your hypers at the big room, when the barb starts to pull all the mobs to you. You turn your hypers on, set up BB, and hope the barb either agros the mobs first, or the BM stuns them at JUST the right time. BM doesn't stun. Barb doesn't agro, and BB acts like a magnet and they all take you out and your down. You unfortunately couldn't afford a GS, so you just lost a whole room of exp, and lost X%. Then if anyone else dies in the process of them still needing to kill them, you get back, you rez them, and depending on your level of rez, they lose slim to none exp.
It's rather unfair.0 -
You can just don't lvl rez up if you feel that's the case and use your logic to go argue with them b:avoid[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Why not just make revive doesn't restore exp lost ? b:surrender (like what i say earlier)
On PWE new game *well you know the name* you can't lost exp when died, only lost your equipment durability. (can become very expensive compared to here)
Which actually fixing problem that only cleric losing exp . .

You dont have to loose much exp as cleric. Learn how to avoid dying and use dolls for instances. The fact that you're playing a class that never will have problems finding parties for TT, Nirvana, BHs and Frost kinda pays for the doll.
Its not that hard to stay alive as cleric in instances anyway - unless you afk. If party wipes you are normally the last person to get aggro since you didn't attack boss. Thats plenty of time to log of when things go bad. I always log of if i see party wipe incoming, than log back in and ress all dead people lol. Or if im in TT playing cleric, i pop plume shield and Holy Path to a safe spot than come back and ress.
Clerics are 1 of the easiest classes to stay alive on since you have so many defensive skills. Can even survive several bosses by just spam healing yourself til tank is up and running again.0 -

It's not unfair. You can ask another cleric for a rez too, can't you? You also get invited for everything.
When an item reaches 0 durability, it is broken. It is useless until you repair it.
If they changed the mechanics to bring all your equipment to 50% durability when you die, it would still be cheaper to buy a GS.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0
