    I picked a cleric because i got bored of my veno and as an added bonus when u squad with and idiot or oracle noob u have the power to let them die :).

    well...for a barbarian it's a wanted class just like cleric easy to find a spot in BH and stuff ...I guess thats why

    I've always enjoyed pet classes, and I prefer to do most things by myself. Veno fit both of those requirements well.

    My history:

    -Started with a bms on PW/MY. Realized I was on the wrong version of the game and quit my character there.

    -Levelled an archer to 43 on PWI, Dreamweaver server. Liked the idea of a class that took skill to play. I decided I had messed up with the skills I had levelled (I had, but nothing a little sp-farming couldn't have fixed... didn't know this at the time. Since then, I've SP farmed a bit, updated some of the skills, and made this a mat-collector character).

    -Decided next to go with a class that would be 'needed'. This left either cleric or barbarian. Heard comments that barbs were very good @ end-game (and oh boy, are they ever) but that they were slow @ leveling (you bet they are... were... still are if you don't use oracles). I continually improve how much I can do with my barb. Recently, I started pking, with and without charm. Without the charm, against 9X bms and barbs, to improve my ability to tank dmg. I ran into a problem; pk is fun, but unless you have insane, high-refine weps, you can't kill others very well. True, there is Armageddon... try that on archers, lolz. When the expansion came out...

    -I rolled an assassin. My 'sin is 6X @ the moment. Majorly different gameplay from barbarian. Very, very suited to pk. Also a class that takes skill to play... at least, takes skill to play *well*. I'm not going to be overly modest, I'm fairly smart & fast to pick things up fast, and this class still manages to present challenges. Like, what does a 'sin do to win against a brambled barb :O But very fun. At 6X I hit almost as hard as my 85 barb does, due to the fact that, with chi skills, I can constantly double spark and use normal attacks to kill stuff. My dps rivals archers @ same lvl, too.

    I chose a wizard, because secretly, I wish I could throw flaming cards and ice arrows at people in real life. b:chuckle

    I found after spending a lot of time experimenting different class..all now long since deleted:
    55 male BM(DELETED) enjoyed but allas other things drew my intrest

    42 AA Veno(DELETED) too many ppl saying, "you don't have a herc?
    kick the veno she useless" or stuff like it. Made playing less
    less then enjoyable.

    32 male Cleric (DELETED) after skill cast stance is a bit obscene
    and dumb looking IMO...so it annoyed me till i deleted

    34 male archer (DELETED) questing solo is a pain in the **** 30s-40s

    34 female archer (DELETED) same reason my male archer died.

    So in the end after all the experimenting with classes...I settled in to 2MAINS

    Female LA Cleric (current lvl80) avatar emotes and animations, along
    with the versatility and Solo'ablity (as Deceptistar pt'd out)
    make the cleric very enjoyable for me.

    Female HA(formerly AA{mag/vit build}) Wizard (current lvl79) with
    such a wide range of spells to pound ur enemies to dust
    who can't enjoy a Wiz...ppl that suck at them i guess. I
    hear ppl say "wiz are weak till high lvl" or "wiz are real hard
    to play till 60s" etc...IDK i've never had a issue with killing
    mobs before they can harm u too badly..even from the low
    level days before u get ur push back...yeh i love my Wiz
    b:pleased

    Female Assassin (current lvl64) Had to give the Tide a spin, and
    since I already play 2 casters i settled on a Sin. What a Sin
    lacks in survivablity they make up for in the versatility of
    their attacks and other skills...back when playing a BM i
    hated range attack mobs...always running from you...Sins
    nip that in the behind with Tackling Slash...stuff like that
    makes the assassin very enjoyable for me...

    Well thats my 2 cents worth on why i settled on what characters i play...b:bye

    O.o I have never, ever, gotten that reaction, and I still don't have a herc.

    my first main was an archer because i luv wings and i have never been good at healing classes on any mmo.... my new main is my psy because i like wings and i came up with a build that is not squishy but does a little less damage. not doing as much damage doesnt bother me very much.... i just didnt want to be squishy.... and i still get wings b:pleased

    Well at first i choose archer, coz they can kill before they get touched, but now im assassin coz they are very alike to archers, they use DEX, and stuff pluss they are fun to play with.. and beeing and archer before helped me alot with my assassin gamplay i think... coz i didnt died many times at all.. i think Ive died in total less with my assassin then i did with my archer at lvls 30~40..

    I chose a Barb because I was a total n00b at MMOs, and well... He looked beat xD. Good choice on my part, as I <3 being the center of attention in the squad - the barb. Wouldn't take my decision back.
