    37k per character.. do it 100 times. Buncha BS accounts, Buncha BS names you got 3.7 mill.

    At low levesl might seem a lot. At higher levels it's easier to get. The fact that it is being DONE though, and semi-allowed... is what bothers me.

    I watched for some time, I estimate about 120 akdhfasaf named characters in a little over an hour or so.

    I would not be surprised if this was done to the fashion on purpose just to find the people who would exploit it and remove them from the game.

    There are plenty of new players who really just aren't using their brain and are doing this because they see free money and have no idea it's against the rules.

    That's very, very untrue.

    Every human being possesses greed, but the levels of it vary from person to person.

    You're saying that just because people are taking what's offered to them in larger quantities than they should, that they are horrible people.

    You present a bowl of candy to a child and tell them to "help yourself", and they take half the bowl. Does that mean they're a terrible, immoral person? Does that mean they're going to grow up to be a thief, murderer, or rapist?

    Absolutely not.

    It's not a case of people being evil, it's a case of people not examining the situation properly and realising that this sort of thing is way too good to be true.

    Yes greed, but this is a MUCH LESS $$ glitch then they have had in the past.

    The GM's have already said that char's on your same account....eh. But making multiple new accounts is the issue.

    And for all you know this person the OP is watching is ONE individual who is stupid enough to waste his time doing this for virtually nothing.

    Like I said before...and you should have read the posts about it...they have banned people for this.

    Beside some of those names looks like names of goldsell advertising bots plagued one of my former MMOs which i played...

    No -.- cause i dont exploit that glitch, i prefer grinding on my main char.

    lol my best record tho has got to be 2.5m an hour killing a WB with 2 other people. (we killed 2, took less than an hour each, and netted shards worth 15m) really really really lucky drops on those tho

    then there are the mini-WB's out there...where 1 scarlet fruit basically nets you 150k, or 200k if you want to wait a bit in AH. you can probably drop about 3 in the span of an hour if timing is on your side and there's no one else hunting them. these mini bosses don't stay out for long b:chuckle

    we hunted ranged wb's that the archer could tank with BB on. some wb's hurt too badly if melee is tanking. b:chuckle

    Is it bannable if i use my two lowest chars on my account to get two sets of pirates the last day of the event and then transfer those sets to my highest chars on the same account so that they are pirates for one more week?

    I would want to know o.o

    After being dealt some horrible colors for my outfit I created a few new characters on my account until I had a set that matched.

    Last week when this question initially came up I said "using an account that you already have is not going to get you banned, making new accounts for the specific purpose of exploiting will"

    I know it's more fun to make silly comments based on assumptions, but when the answer was stated please don't mislead others.b:laugh

    Doubt it. It's no different than a new player rolling a character on the last day and wearing the pirate sets even after Jones has despawned.

    Forgot to add: Plus, if you're doing all this on the same account, it's still within the rules.

    the say the JJJ started, i saw a line (yes, a line-5 running together, at same speed) of new panda barbs with similar nonsense names, pass me in CoL, and figured that someone had already found a way to work a ripoff


    btw, my son and i both have accounts with male alts, and we got the outfits to switch pieces around to get a great colour combo for him. its not a problem when they are accounts you've had a while.

    37k is chump change and hardly worth the effort. at least they're using garbled names.

    they really need to do something about not being able to use names that deleted characters had.

    Except that this costs PWE nothing, and it messes up all the players once again, so the karma is on us the players, not the company. So in fact, they are causing the problems to themselves, by increasing the coin in game, which in turn, makes things more expensive.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    The pirates event clothes should be ONLY available for levels 30+

    That way we wont see what happened here
