So I was standing in Etherblade this morning and watched a steady stream of level one male characters running in to the city, going to a merchant, then to the post box, and vanishing. All with names like fdsffsddsfdf.

What do YOU think they are doing? lol!

    Exploiting jolly jones. people shouldn't be surprised when the only events offered are events you have to pay for, when free events are exploited in such a way. b:angry

    I bet someone is taking advantage of the price glitch with the pirate outfits.
    Hope that the person realizes that just because it is on an "alt" account it still can be easily tracked and banned...

    Just wait for the person who was doing it to here and QQ about being banned ^^

    Sounds like a mule account for pirates to me lol. To be honest I always laugh harder when I see someone actually playing with a name like that.

    I think the GM's should sit in the new player starter area and watch for names like that. monitor their activity, tie it to accounts and IP's and ban them if they are exploiting.

    I mean, gms will see if someone is taking advantage of that glitch, I dont think that they need your help for that.

    ..i can make about 1m per pack of oracles i sell in light of anniversary packs going poof, and i have a lot...of oracles to sell...

    And from the sheer honesty ONLY someone who actually exploit this glitch can come here and complain over posting screens of weird named players.
    Beside some of those names looks like names of goldsell advertising bots plagued one of my former MMOs which i played...

    More like 320k per account, if my math is right. Funny thing is these things have a level requirement of 10, yet the costume quest is available to anyone. Making the costume quest appear at lv10 would solve a lot of problems.

    I have a feeling this thread will be sent to the lower depths.

    It's not naming and shaming I don't think, but it's really pointless. The GMs manage to catch these people anyway. There was a thread a couple days ago made by one who didn't even know it was banable.

    Plus with it being the weekend and all, the GMs aren't around. I'm sure the flow of mules will die down a bit during the week.

    If you want to help out, it might be easier to just collect a list of names throughout the day and then PM the list to a GM before you log for the night. Or maybe keep all your screens in the first post?

    While it's great that you're trying to help, it's a lot like double-posting. It's spammy.
