The sense of accomplishment I get from doing all that hard work myself (for *me*) is not diminished because some lucky SOB got one with a lottery ticket, or bought it off of some lucky lvl 40 veno with a winning lottery ticket.

If the person who opens his wallet, and hits the lucky pack and gets the prize is happy with it, then more power to him. *He's happy* - why is that bad? And why does *your* happiness revolve around whether the other guy is miserable?

Yea, It sucks. Yea, it was a mistake by PW. Do you really need to have *your* enjoyment of the game destroyed by someone *elses* actions? Aren't you in control of your own player?

Yes, I understand PvP is thrown all over the place by this flood of SuperWeapons. But every serious PvP player I've spoken with and whose messages I've read, *to a man*, tells me to "Man Up, Nancy" if I even *think* about complaining about how I am treated on the server.

Play the game, or don't. Make it fun, or make it personal. Whatever lights your wick.

You don't understand. Yes, it is just a game but comments like that just show you have no idea how hurt people are by the way PWE has treated them. If you're going to try yourself, good. If you can farm the cv bow without touching an anniversary gift box then you can run around saying whatever the hell you like about high levels, you'll have earned it.

Just re-read your own post again and the words you put in our mouths. Although I don't personally own the items I've been in Lunar glade runs, I know other people that spent 5 hours + each run over and over and it is really sad to see people who are just dismissing our efforts, the same way PWE has. The QQ posts are condescending? Well IMHO they have good reason to be.

If they didnt think spending real money on packs to get those wasnt worth it then they cant really complain. They chose the path to do this effort, you cant expect compensation when the end result doesnt turn out the way you want it to.

PWI will not die, after all look at the people who still play Rune (fill in the rest as it cannot be put on the Forums either), and Guild Wars (just a few examples). People come on and people leave that's how MMORPGs work, especially free ones.

To: lesspewpewmorereqq - YOU PEOPLE? individuals can seldom be lumpped into a huge group without different extremes. Don't lump me in with people who complain, as I'm not complaining just listing the gold prices as I saw them.

Something i learned from this debacle is no matter how good a f2p game begins,(and pwi began good it has to be said)((infact i don't see why they started with all these sales i honestly thought they were doing well in revenue))it will end with costing more than a p2p just to compete with other cash shoppers,infact this game would be better as simply going p2p now so everyone has an equal chance...anyway glad i'm out,been through too many of these situations in the last 5 years and won't make the same mistake for the 6th time.

Imo I can see a few PvPer's leaving, not so much because of the packs only being cash shop, or because the gold prices are high, but for the fact that some items from the packs make it so they are not the top dog in the pound anymore, and have had their ego's bruised.
