Perfect World Comic Strips by Scelatio

Hi all!

I'm pleased to announce a series of comic strips related to the Perfect World game, that's going to be released to PWI community.

We (me and the original author) have set up a blog to have a place where all the strips could be kept and viewed comfortably. We're also continuing to work on translation and adaption of the original series to be as close to PWI version as possible.

We've started with the first strips Scelatio's made, that's why you can see a few months old dates on signatures (that's when they were originally created) and will continue to supply you with the newer ones, as the translation progress goes. Eventually we'll catch up to the "production" and you'll be getting fresh strips as soon as they're created.

Everytime there's an update, I'll be posting previews in this thread.

    The worst is that some 'high' level in my faction really did this to every newb guy........

    Art isnt bad, but more poses and colour would be awesome lol

    Funny stuff, reminds me of when I was just starting out. "WTF IS FB?! where do I learn new skills? can I try on your wings please?" Ah, good times. I think that it's generally a bad idea to explain things to noobs though. When I asked my endless series of questions during my noob days then I just became even more confused. Trial and error (as in **** up and learn to not do the same thing again) as you level tends to be a much better teacher.

    Sorry, it's all black&white stuff, which IMO isn't bad at all :)

    Anyway, as promised, the Blog is now open! If there's any problem with it, let me know.

    What I totally love about these strips, is that they're so true.
    Even while re-reading translated strips looking for any mistakes (not that I'm sure I haven't left any in the end :)), I can't keep myself from giggling, even though I've seen these strips for like 100 times.

    Anyway, we've no intention to keep you all waiting for updates for long, so here's a new one. Dedicated to those, who remember dealing with Kun Kun, especially wizards :D

    Thanks for the replies, we need as many as we can get to be sure these comics reached large audience :D

    I gotta stress out again though, that it's not me, who's making those strips. All the genius stuff comes from my buddy, Scelatio; I'm just doing PWI adaptation and maintaining the blog and this thread.

    They'll keep coming, for sure. In addition to normal strips, you can also expect a couple of extra large specials, which will be posted in due time :)

    Here is a suggestion though (not a criticism, just a fun idea I'd like to see):
    You ever going to make the characters start going into a story? Or just stay with 1 time laugh strips? :)

    Because I would love to see the character go on a full out adventure of some sort.

    I guess, an epic story wouldn't fit into a comic genre. You can see these short strips as episodes of one story, where all the boring stuff was cut out :D

    But there will be some special editions, which are about triple size of a normal strip.

    Now to the new stuff. In this update you'll find out, that not all the Taurocs are necessarily evil and what everything you can do with a pickaxe :)
