Intro:
Due to becoming busier IRL, I cannot guarantee weekly TW recordings, but I do try to log on and record as much as possible. This thread is for leaving general comments about the videos themselves, and NOT the state of TW of the server or arguing about which faction is better, etc (please post those comments in other threads).

Videos are captured using FRAPS 2.9.4, edited and published using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and exported using Adobe Media Encoder CS5.

Added Crimson vs Kylin TW for Wellspring Village. Wasn't enough footage so I just cut out the flying/boring parts in the AMV.

For the Kingdom vs Crimson TW, I attempted the impossible: live streaming + video recording. Needless to say, I lagged, things crashed, laptop exploded (not really). As a result, don't even have a raw capture of it and the choppy/laggy live streaming sucked b:cry

I did learn, however, that video capture with Podcaster lags my laptop a lot less than live streaming with xfire so I will only be doing video captures in the future - no more live streaming, sorry b:surrender I also learned that Avidemux does allows for removal of the audio stream so now I no longer need to do extra video encoding through SUPER (thus, higher video qualities for the AMVs). Raws will still be at lower quality though to reduce download sizes.

Added Kylin vs Crimson TW for Broken Plains. Don't have anything for the Crimson vs Kylin TW as I was in a defense squad and was actually AFK for half of the TW (to the annoyance of my squad members who were waiting for my debuffs and amps).

This week is PvE TW for City of the Lost and Kingdom vs Crimson TW so I hope to get some good videos up.

I've also mastered the art of Exporting in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 so now all AMVs should be much higher quality (limited of course by the quality of my original Podcaster video capture) and be much less blocky. There still will be some encoding artifices here and there (like the ending text in the Kylin vs Crimson one I just uploaded) but generally be much better than all my previous uploads.

I can't exactly show a video of a TW I didn't attend b:surrender
The only video I do have that I haven't shown is Leviathan's fake TW. All other TWs that I video recorded are here - the last TW against Kingdom I streamed so don't have a video capture. Wolfblade TWs were also jokes - the first one I believe was done by a single squad of 6 (a bad move it turned out cause we lost) and the second finished quickly by two catapult teams. Today's TW I will be recording though so I will be posting a video, even if we do lose.

I officially hate DivX now. After spending many, many, MANY hours trying to get this AMV exported properly and without too many graphical artifacts, I finally gave up - no matter how I tweaked the settings, the final output video just sucked. In the end I exported the entire video as an uncompressed raw AVI (11GB file b:surrender), then re-encoded it with Xvid through SUPER Video Converter (since Avidemux couldn't handle the big file apparently). The results were surprisingly good though - only 68MB even at 3000kbps and the quality is pretty close to that of the original FLV raw capture with no artifacts ^_^

As for the TW itself, it was complete failure. 40 sign-ups for a Friday TW and only 62 people online (only about 50 in TW considering the people lacking hours and a few Kingdom spies). No teams, no organization, no real plan, nothing. 15 minute TW of bleh >< I also forgot to switch my weapon (was wearing my FB69 Sak Light the entire TW instead of my normal HH80 weapon) and completely failed PK-wise. And even the City of Lost TW that I was looking forward to turned out to be a fake TW rather than the PvE TW I was hoping for b:cry

Ah well, hope things get better and more interesting next week - don't like boring TWs ; (

I especially liked WrongTarget spamming "RUN ICON RUN" as the crystal was being demolished. Made me laugh.

I love this video cause you can see Vipu and I saying RUN DOWN CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC in guild chat and me going GOGOGOOGOGGOG. Then after we all died I kept spamming in common chat WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Been a while since I've made a TW video. A great thanks to the QQers who got me banned for bidding with Meister (all I wanted was a fun solo TW b:cry).

Either way, missed most TWs since then for various reasons (busy in real life) but, being back on campus and with univ not yet started, managed to attend this weekend's TWs and video capture it all. A few weeks ago I had my motherboard replaced (and also got a chance to re-grease my heat-sink) as well as installed Windows 7 (msdn FTW!) so now I'm able to have PWI running widescreen and with Soften on. Apparently Podcaster is incompatible with 64-bit Windows 7 so now I have to use FRAPS for video recording (had to clear out a lot of hard drive space). Due to the large sizes of the raw recordings, I have to use SUPER to convert everything; however, quality seems to have improved a bit.

For this weekend's TW, since vs Kylin was short (only so much you can do with 30 on ><), vs OddSquad was completely imbalanced, and vs INFIERNO was boring and incomplete (finished OddSquad's and had to jump right into INFIERNO's), I just made one big AMV from the three TWs. Used two songs this time and they aren't from animes surprisingly (both songs GAME and Electro World are by the electro-J-pop group Perfume). Also experimented around with different video transitions instead of always using Cross Dissolve (which often did not fit well as a transition) so please excuse the occasional awkward transitions (e.g. awkward at 1:10 and mistake at 6:26).

Either way, TW video added - see the first post and leave video or TW feedback/comments here. Even though the AMV's TW content wasn't too good, it was fun duo-ing with angeRR (OddSquad was suppose to just be me+angeRR vs OddSquad but they stuck a stupid cata team in as well ><). Died a few times more than I should have vs INFIERNO. Need lvl 90, 89 skills and HH90 gear ; (

Crimson disbanded months ago, right before Kingdom took Etherblade.

Added Good Game vs Crimson's TW. Best TW I've had for a while though I was disappointed it was only 35 vs 35 and they had venos pulling catas. Next week's TW will probably end up boring and quick though (~80 Kylins vs <40 Crimsons) and there-on-after Harshland TW will be boring as hell (especially with KD slowly taking all the easy lands and avoiding hard TWs, i.e. vs their not-carebear-ally Kylin.

Ah well, cramming 2hrs of good footage into 5 mins was pretty hard so sorry for having everything super-sped-up. Too bad no lvl 89 skills nor HH90 gear, but still fun ^_^

Added Good Game vs Crimson's second TW. I was pretty much the only high-lvl veno'nixer so, without doubt, I was targetted and teamed up on quite a bit ; ( Didn't help much that all my targets just kept kiting until reinforcements arrived (*cough RedBetty/Ayekim who just sends nix and kites). Yes, it works, but that's called abusing the bug and being afraid to get hurt, not PKing.

This was also Crimson's last TW as it loses its last land. Twas a fun and strong TW guild but with the majority of the original members leaving for carebear KD, leaving for private servers/another MMORPG or just no longer playing/becoming inactive, its sad to see things turn out this way. Hope to see real PvP and TW return to the Harshland servers one day.
