    Don't change the subject. The debate was about duels from the beginning.b:chuckle

    No one said Wizards can't ambush someone out in the wild. They just can't take on a knowledgeable and well prepared opponent in a duel.

    well, PK is usually ambush if you have some brain and you're a ranged class.
    And duels ... hmm... until 79 wizzies are kinda' ... challenged in that area. But a smart use of FoW and Blink can do wonders. Still, we don't have the tools to control an opponent like Archers and Clerics do. So our task is much, much harder.
    Once you get the FoW to a decent lvl and SW, that's good enough to do some dmg in a duel.

    let me shorten it down :

    Wizards blow in PK
    Wizards blow in Duels (UNLESS they have full spark)
    Wizards blow in party settings such as hh and fb
    Wizards blow in stats
    Wizards are professional at failing.

    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    I am a wizard because i do not wish to partake in being the best, or to strive for perfection. Just because i am not satisfied by the power a wizard does or does not have, does not mean i am not enjoying the class. I am simply elaborating the fact that wizards blow, and advocating their useless-ness, however i still do find the class to be appealing and moreso fun, even though frustrating.

    Hmmm thread seems to have really taken off since I last posted, I think a lot of you base your PvP knowledge on figures and statistics which does not factor in the human element of PvP. My brother has already viewed the thread and I'm sure he has taken what ever useful info he was able to gather here, thank you to everyone who replied.

    There's not a lot of possible actual information that can take place over a forum.
    Seeing how most of the opinions differ not just by words, but by servers as well, its very hard to prove one another wrong.

    Take the facts with a grain of salt and accept whatever you feel is correct.
    Try them all out if you have the time and you can see for yourself what is correct action and what is not.

    I agree with Spirea.
    Wizards get the short end of the stick for a long time, but I'd still never re-roll.

    i will never roll another class for any reason.
    even i think wizard is under power than any other class.
