I like all the events you GM's and the servers organize..

It kinda adds something more to the game, for fun... And yeah the winning part.. Thats a really great extra!

I think the events are all extra's for the game.. So don't get annoyed you have less chance in an event cause youre a lower lvl.. Everyone had that problem.. You will get youre chance when you get higher and new events show up..

Don't think that when you join the game you can get everything you want immediatly..

I'm a little confused as to why there are any complaints. When you were first introduced to us, you were deluged with requests to organize an event. You've done so, quite quickly too. Sounds like a fun event to me as well

I'm not sure why anyone would be unhappy that you're doing an event. Isn't making one the first step to having "more?" You could just as easily have sat back and done nothing. In fact, I think that would have been easier ^x^;

I hope this event goest well so you can make a habit of being good to us And thanks for putting the effort into this. Not sure anyone's said that yet.

I don't consider "lowbie" to be an insult, that's what "noob" is for b:shocked Lowbie simply means a low leveled character

I acknowledge my lowbieness and am not offended After all, I haven't been ingame all that long. Though if I'd spent it all on one character I'd be at least 6x now instead of having 4 alts at 2x >.>

Anyways, People are always going to find something to complain about:

--> "Lowbies"/"Noobs" have low or no chance of winning
--> Prizes are not worth it
--> Lag
--> Time of event (this is more of an issue for me but I have to work, and I am on server time, therefore many of these type of events will be held when the GM's are working mainly and I work an 8-5pm which is probably very comparable to what they work.)
--> The actual event

People want things for free but they want them easy or without effort. To be honest, there is only so much that the GM's and organizers can do about many of these complaints. Even in the events where everyone could participate, there were numerous complaints.

If it is not one thing it is another...they are never going to be able to please everyone, there is just to large of a player base. People are still complaining about the TW times. What are they going to do?

Be happy they can provide the servers with an event.

everyone will get to win at least once I think... well not every lvl 1-10 but a lot of people, also I do understand how hard it is to make events well maybe not for gms but if you'd give 30 mounts from your events it will be less profit for you I guess, and its just like.. you can't give 30 mounts in a single event! I only give rare pets in my events mostly free bunnies, dont miss my bunny drop event today in archo ^^ "riding on my panther ill make a path of bunnies? O_o" it took me some time to collect all these so you'd better come!

I luv doing events!! I to have left a trail of coins through Arch and it was so funny!! My favorite though is doing trivia over WC and giving out a TON of items that everyone will be able to use at some point. b:cute

the best is when you make a trail of items that leads out of safe zone and then you aoe everyone at the end of it.

Just make sure you target someone who's on you KOS, and its all the random people's faults for being too close to your KOS.

not officially, but you'll probably want to be able to fly to get to the locations. As far as where specifically goes, I'm trying to spread em out evenly, so they could be in a low level zone and they could be in a high level zone.

Like I said after Easter, I'll not be participating in any more lag-fests(1 location, every player who wants the aero will end up there).

I think I'll wait until there's a decent map-wide event.(One involving hidden objects dotted all over the map would be nice)

Just anything that doesn't involve gathering every player running the event in one place.

I believe before you arrived many of the suggests were stated before so I didn't want to get out a nuke to beat the dead horse. This is similar to the fourm word hunt we had and many then were disappointed in the fact it was only held at one time instead of multiple times.

Special edition items are becoming common word for events or new release items. How about just "get a neat flying mount early" or like the clothing contest where they had GMs with fashion for 1 coin. The video event actually made me very excited but alas I had no good ideas.

Now limited numbers is pretty much open to negotiations but would much rather see an event where everyone got rewarded. Valentines and Xmas were great outside of the lag they caused.

I'll look into what kinds of events are coming up. As far as frequency of Gm events is concerned, hopefully we will be able to to this more frequently in order to increase everyones chances of winning something.

In reference to having one event at more than one time per server, I'd love to, but right now I'm trying to focus on events that utilize as few resources (GMs) as possible in order to enable us to keep answering e-mails on event days. Duly noted, and I really appreciate your willingness to expound on your previous post.

I will most likely start looking into event suggestions from players in a few weeks. The main issue I see is that every user suggestion must be compiled into a format that will make it a viable event when we take into consideration the resources that we can utilize. This doesn't mean I don't want 'em, just that it will take some work and some compromise for them to work out

I came from a game where they did fun events. Not that this doesn't sound fun but the person who mentioned that the low ppls would have little to no chance was right. Here are a few suggestions I thought you might consider using for future events:

Having events in tiers: 1 event for level 1-25 1 event for level 25-55 and 1 event for level 55 and up. This would ensure that all your players were able to enjoy the event. And be able to contend with people of the same levels. If you put your "event" shop in the middle of an area where people have to fight mobs to get to you, even if a lowbie found you first they would not be able to get to you. With this suggestion you are still having only 3 winners and everyone has equal opportunity.

Next suggestion is instead of giving out 3 prizes and making them huge. Why not give out maybe 100 prizes and make them small ones? Not sure if it is in your capability, but maybe you could give out something really frequently used in the cash shop as a prize but that isn't a really expensive item. Or maybe something unreleased but cheap. Like 10 telecaustics or something like that. Then when you have 300 people all participating with those odds of winning something it is worth the effort. You tend to think "big" wow prizes. When honestly I know everyone would be happier with smaller prizes and more winners. I understand the point isn't that everyone is a winner.

You might also try a random drop event. Where you go around randomly dropping things in the battle fields. Something unexpected, unofficially announced but would totally rock. Wouldn't have to even be something huge, heck even coins would be neat

I have many more ideas but I'll let you mull on these awhile. But I do think that more GM events would be totally fun. And it would also take away the sad factor that already exists with the wraith events!

Keep it rockin GM's! It will get perfected soon enough! In the meantime, even if its not perfect; the effort is awesome. Shows you care about the community.

everyone knows that a faction called "RageQuit" in Lost city server always PK the lower lvl in any event , and that would be a big problem for the player that is lvl 30+
