    I m totally in favor of archers but .... as per release of genies ... dont u think sharpened tooth is close to replacable coz genie have a similar skill nw???

    As much as wht i can see Archers = Substitude fr Wiz fr most stuff thats is whn u want phy dmg over mag dmg??

    Plz correct me if i m wrong ... i m building an archer and i really wanna know if the idea of my class is good

    I wouldnt say Archers are substitute for wiz, we are too diferent. Wizzy is pure mag build. They have only one physical attack, and it needs two sparks to be cast. Also they are more easy to kill (well, before lvl89 that is). Archers are more PvP class, as we can use Magical attacks as well as Physical ones. Also we are great use when you need to take down a mean boss.

    Dont need vita, than you do low dmg and might have problem hold agro.
    Im pure dex build aka 3 vita and i have 8.5k hp buffed. You need shards and refine amour. But as i said, archers need at least 90 gear to tank TT bosses. And some times you need 2 clerics. But low lvl stuff like fb59 you can start tank at like lvl 70-80. Really just need a decent cleric.

    I know archers who tanked eden around level 92 with close to 5k hp.

    Some World Bosses can only be tanked by Ranged classes. Soul Hunter to name one because he's so harmless b:laugh

    i can tank fb 59 now with a decent cleric(havent tried drake in fb51 but i should be able now)
    i can tank mantavip, slither and slitt, i am pretty sure i can handle jewel by now also if my cleric is good.

    archer dps > wiz dps
    because of archer's higher atk speed+crit compared to wizard's slow casting speed/lower crit archer do more dmg over an extended period of time say at least 15 sec+ not to mention we take out 16% of the boss hp as opening

    duel is by no mean close to real PvP. killing someone in duel doesnt mean much.
    a good high lvl barb is actually meant to NOT die to ANYONE in pvp. if its 2v1 sure the barb can die, but if its 1v1 a good barb basically never dies.

    now stop trolling the archer forum and go back to where u animals belongb:bye

    high lvl can tank about everything, heck i tank 19-59 easily and jewel was a joke (hit 1k max, yah i havent finished refining gear its pretty low) krimson i dont think so but who knows maybe i will try soon...

    damn and i was used to a mob 3 lvls higher than me taking out almost 20% of my hp in 1 hit when i played on my lvl 47 archer

    Not only that but archers suck at pvp, seriously how do you guys manage to get into factions? Because archers are useful? Or maybe because they can kill any robe wearing players near their own level? Oh wait, you must be one of those people who's opinions are always right. Sorry, I completely agree. Archers and venos are useless.

I didn't bother to read everyone's replies but I'm sure that they've done a more than adequate job of tearing apart you "reasoning" for how useless archers are. I'm sure that some of my comments (the little red words up there) have already been said several times (and I probably missed a few points) but I thought I might give it a try anyway.

    Edit: I also amuses me whenever someone goes into another class's forum just to say how much that class sucks. Especially because it's so painfully obvious that you've never played an archer before.

    First of all Blanka, its obvious that you lack common sense. You are low lvl and you are critisising a class that you haven't even played.
    You dont have any pvp experience, and you dont even consider the opinions of ppl that are much higher lvl than you, thus much more expirienced.

    There is only one way you can prove your point.
    Get in PK mode and challenge a 5x archer. Hell no, challenge a few 5x archers!
    Kill em all and take some screenshots, post em here.

    Oh, yeah there has been some complains about how some skills work or how weird you look when you use Lightning skills, but lol I never complain about my archer, which kills faster than lvl60 BM (sword bm though, go figure what they think). And also I am more usefull than most BM`s or even Wizards, not always though.

    I am still waiting you to post answers on our awesome posts, we tried so hard to give you answer and all you do is insult, yeah, I know Trolls do that, but this isnt even funny anymore. All you say is "Me hungry", "Archers sux", "everyone sucks", "Barb OP" ect.

    Hmmmmm lets see archer vs bm in pvp...goes something like this ... archer stuns and crits bm, kites, stuns and crits bm, bm possibly gets close and misses, archer stuns and crits bm, kites...repeat ad infinitum.

    As it turns out BM's are the most useless class in PW... not quite a tank, not quite a DD their, they're ok if you want to appear human and wield dual weapons to look cool... only usefulness? defense buff. Nuff' said.
