    You're not the only one, lag is so bad here this past week, my whole game freezes and locks up my pc... which is totally stripped, and plenty of gig to play this one game, lol. Hoping the updates fix this so can play freely in am and get thru Arch w/o lag and lock ups. Shy

    I doubt it'll help me much. My client runs smoothly 99% of the time until I enter Arch.

    It's a framerate issue. Meaning lag fixes won't do anything.

    If this is anything like other MMOs I've tried:
    Framerate stall = too many things onscreen (My solution is to have an option to turn off all non-NPC avatars, not even preload them [then again, that might cause avatar ghosting.. going right through another avatar. x.x])

    When it's a network issue, the framerate is fine. You can still rotate the camera and stuff. Just actions take a while to respond.


    But I guess working on the servers is good no matter what the circumstances.


    Just those hoping the "lag" after the genie upgrade will disappear might be disappointed. I think an easy fix to that is going into system settings and turning off "Effects" (genies are effects monsters).

    For the record, they're fixing the memory leak issue. I'm not sure about the rest.

    A long time ago, me and waffles were best friends, we did everything together! Never went anywhere without the other one in arm.
