How can I learn genie skill?

Once you have the prerequisite elemental point, MAG point, character SP and coins, visit the new NPC. Some genie skill require skill book.
What skills require books? And where can I find those books?

well that's not so true.. you have to "feed" it with chi stones you get from refining. just drag them on your genie and he will "eat" them. chi stones get more stamina to your genie, and he needs stamina for using skills. no stamina = no skills, so... yes you have to feed it ^__^
Since I am total n00bie in this game, How to i "refine"? I need some Chi Stones for my Genie. Can you help me out with this?

    Thanks :)

So how do you provide your genie with chi stone? Which gems do you decompose? How do you give these decomposed materials (chi) to the genie?
    Neutrality is a myth!

Blackcat used the wrong word. She meant "decomposing", not "refining".

I'm not sure I understand the difference between your first and last questions, and you don't decompose gems.

Basically you take gear you don't need and is too lame to sell in the AH to the related NPC (armor to the tailor, weapons to the blacksmith, and ornaments to the craftsman) and then use the decompose option to get chi stones. You get more chi stones from fully repaired gear than damaged gear, and the chi stone level you get is based on the gear's level (but it's not a 1 to 1 relationship.)

Once you have the chi stones you just drag and drop them on the genie's icon in your inventory. The amount of chi they get depends on the number and level of chi stones fed to the genie this way.

One final note, you can combine chi stones at a jewelcraftsman, but don't do this if you plan on feeding them to your genie because the conversion rate makes it so that you will waste chi if you combine them.

You'd only want to combine chi stones if you want to make higher level attack/defense charms.

It's really all based on luck.
Every ten lvls (lvs 10,20,30 so on) you genie gains a random amount of point these are known as lucky points..
Now for your genie to "evolve" it needs to have a certain amount of lucky points.

Example: Lets say you get a zeal and lvl it up to lvl 10.. the moment it lvls from 9 to 10 you will see in your chat log something along the lines of..

Zeal has lvld to lvl 10!
Zeal has earned 1 attribute point!
Zeal has gaint and affinity point!
Zeal has earned an additional 10 points!

Now when you check your zeal she will have 10/10 lucky points.
The first number being the number she actually has the second number being the amount she could have.

So yes unfortunately it is based on luck. If your genie has a low amount of lucky points it might be wise to decompose it and start a new one.
Dont get me wrong however ive seen some pro genies with horrible luckys, but in general lucky genies are coveted due the fact that they can use more skills (AKA evolving) and that they have more attibutes.

I think the change in genie appearance lucky point requirements are...
    41- 50
    51- 60
    61

Is there other types of genie? I think you've answered this but i'm asking just to make sure. I've seen genies that look kinda similiar to the begginer genies but they're different like one that looked like the Zeal fairy was reddish colored and kinda had spikier wings. And the longetivity fairy has one that has blueish colored wings and was more sparkly u could say. so r these just lvled/specially equipped genies or are they totally different genies?? Plz answer cuz if they r different fairies i wanna get one b:cute

They are evolved genies. When a genie gets lucky points above 41/51/61 they evolve and change appearance.

    Also, necro.

You need to be equal to or higher than your genie.
