    classes without cleric buffs are food for clerics b:dirty and most clerics got a vit build with phy shards(hp shards for pvp sucks)

    I beg to differ on that actually >_> I'd rather have my 3k hp than 2k p.def, that's what plume shell is for. b:victory on a spirit charm, 20 seconds of plume shell should be enough to take out most. PvP fights usually don't last very long.

    The reason I play a cleric is because I believe clerics are the most rounded pvp class on pw. They can kill every other class without difficulty and as the same time be killed just as easy. They have brilliant damage range, being able to fight Light, Arcane and Heavy without difficulty (Like EWings said, demon plume shot is much quicker channelling and cooldown)

    Clerics get the least in terms of Point to Magic attack, magic defence and physical defence ratio, but despite this a cleric will have more defences then any other class equivalent because of there buffs. A 1 v 1 cleric vs. any other class own buff (excluding nix of course) is almost always one sided if you know your stuff.

    I say nix of course because cleric are NOT the best pvp class, bottom line is a Defensive venomancer with a phoenix can kill anyone, now I don’t play veno because I enjoy a fight not just Go Nix *Bleeds* Ascii takes 2300, 700, 700, 700 2300, 700, 700, 700 2300, 700, 700, 700 all in the space of 9 seconds, and thats just nix DD :P

    Clerics also have some of the most OP skills in pw, sleep being the most, with up to 36 seconds it can take anyone out of action until the fight is over, its also enough time to recover, or even line up them big one hit kills which I use it for, also Plume shell takes any physical classes out of action for 20 seconds, with an 80% reduction of damage.

    One downside ive noticed is cleric is one of the most expensive classes to play, especially on a pvp server because an mp charm is a must and when it comes to pve clerics go though more mana then wizards.

    It's a very... um... two edged sword... do you want more p.def, or do you want more hp, you can't really have both. I kinda like to go to extremes in one area or the other and I don't really like to shard phys. def. unless I'm in light armor, which I'm not.

    It's easy for a cleric to kill a BM if you know what you are doing and time things right. There's a 81 cleric that can repeatedly kick my ****, but there are also clerics in upper 80s or lower 90s that are no problem for me.

    If the BM didn't catch you off guard, Plume Shield, take an anti-stun pot. Take his/her HP down to 55%-60% with quick attacks. Sleep, debuff, Extreme Poison, double spark then WS and the BM should go bye bye unless he's got crazy gear with high refine and/or VIT build. Single sparked Tempest probably works too, but that cleric always used double sparked WS on me instead.

    Even if you were stunned first, spam that Plume Shield key. It has a short cast I believe. There are small time gaps between stuns even with the perfect lock. Don't quote me on this but I THINK you can get the shield up between stuns. That will save you for the first 12-15 seconds, depends on Aeolian, then you have 50/50 chance of getting locked in a new chain. Do carry anti-stun pots on you and do the above and BMs are easy for clerics.

    Hi, I signed out to go take a shower and when i can back and tried to sign in it said, "Your current client program is too low, Please exit and update."

    I updated it 3 timesb:angry with both of the 9/23/09 Patches and its still saying, "Your current client program is too low, Please exit and update."
    I dont know what to do... Anyone know what i cant do.??b:sad

    Just balance your HP and Pdef absence of Pdef with alot of Hp wont save u. neither will alot of Pdef and low HP, Gotta balance em Both.

    Just one thought more, the more Pdef you have the less dmg you take from Physical chars/bosses if you couple this with good heals you can stay afloat pretty long sometimes even against a decent Nix.

    Note: Death to Lunar BOW!! Steals my Buffz :((

    im not denying it wasnt a prepaired Hit. it was on a 92 barb in TT90.
    Demon spark > Tempest with Frenzy, Ampifly damage, Elemental weakness, Extreme posion, Dragon and metal debuff.

    of yeah clerics can be good PKers when it comes to them going 1v1 against a bm or barb both have the weakness against magic but you need to be a pro yourself to know the ecxact skills and blah blah blah to use

    I used that guide early on, but I deviated quite drastically from it after 60. However, it's pretty decent. I actually don't die that easy. Only 2 people have 1 shot me in......... 2-3 months? I don't remember any 2 shots (either you can kill me quick or not...) but they could've happened. If you know what you're doing-- a cleric with those skills and that build can still do almost anything.... That is, as long as they know what they're doing....

    I spent about 20k off of my HP charm, 50k off of my MP charm just running around trying to pk a bm who attacked me. Ticked his charm a lot, but in the end, the stalemate was ended by him calling all the 6x and 7x people in his guild to kill me b:surrender

    Good cleric can be scary as hell. The best way to be sure is to try it yourself.

    Take into consideration that on this forum clerics will boast their own class and embellish facts and other classes will diss them and embellish their results against clerics.

    Try it for yourself and see.

    I like that we can do phys and magic dmg. We can also heal ourselves and plume shell.... We're just pretty deadly if used right. Generally, there's a correct combo to beat anyone :D
