$50 dollars to be exact

Ok this is a joke. I was considering paying up to 30 but this is pushing it beyond.

50 dollars for a virtual mount or 50 dollars for a new game?

    man that does suck. if only there was a way you could opt-out of buying it, instead of having it automatically deducted from your paycheck/parents credit card.

    i have been waiting for this mount for months now... and they make is some stupid price... don't the gms know ppl are broke right now... the only way i can get one is if PWI takes food stamps b:angry

    I agree, they put the price very high. It was to be expected though: A mount that is only sold for a limited time. They just want to make sure that it stays rare.

    A pitty for one of the coollest mounts till now, but understandable.

    the last limited time only mount was same price. yet after a week there were plenty of people running around with it.

    the way i see things, u guys complaining about price are the greedy ones not PWI. You WANT it, u dont NEED it.

    If they set herios at $50 or armors at 2mil coins then yea, that'd be a problem cause we NEED those, but we dont NEED a mount that runs 1m/sec faster then already existing ones.

    its only 5 gold more than raptor, comes with 10 m/s so its kinda spurred already

    True in every word. That's why I don't complain about the price. OK, maybe a little bit. But what disappoints me is that its only available for such a short time. It's the end of month, many have to wait a week or two to get money again, but then it will be too late again.

    They want to keep it rare, ok. But maybe they could let in CS for a little bit longer to give a chance to get the money to by it for those who just run out off money this week.

    It's actually very important to determine what's needed and what's just wanted. This game is free2play, and they can't make needed items cashshop. That has to be counterbalanced somewhere.

    The great thing about this game is that everyone has a chance to play, no matter how low their budget is. The base game is completely free. Each player can decide by himself wether to purchase gold or not, and how much. I think PWI does a good job on this, because none of the needed items requires real money. And for the rest, just keep a grip on your selfcontrol. You sound like an 8 year-old that has just seen some candy in the grocery store. If you really want it, just take the time to get it with ingame coins.

    why would you save up about 10 million in in game coins (yes they are 10 mil no one would dare sell it for 5) for something like that? when you need more important stuff.

    I never said i didnt want it. look more closely at my first post. i said i would have considered paying up to 30 real dollars (30 gold) but 50 is pushing it.

    Then you must not want it badly enough to either pay cash for it or spend time saving up coins. I'm not denying that it's not worth it, but you yourself keep stating that there's more important stuff. That's great, so save your coins for skills and equipment, save your cash for real life things, and save us your QQ.

    First of all, ''a ripoff" is subjective. For me, if you think the price is to high, just don't buy, and don't start complaining. If the price would be really that absurd, nobody would buy it. Yet poeple did. Some just to sell it ingame.

    Now, there is another option you didn't think of. It's something I often do: just wait a while. If you wait for about 1 month, prices will go down after that because the hype will be gone. Wait untill a new mount appears, and it'll go down even quicker. It requires patience, but if you really want something, it's worth the waiting.

    I am complaining because i would pay 30 but 50 is just too much.
    i think that it is perfectly acceptable to be slightly annoyed with this price.
    and i hate it when i see the "QQ" it is so dumb...

    Seeing how spurs cost 15 gold and this is a spur-speed mount. You are only paying 5 more gold than you would with Raptor or Kirin and 15 more if you use Deer. It's good price for what it is, fast decent mount which looks cool and limited release, there is enough demand for it to justify their pricing.

    Actually, yeah, KP has a great point. Don't think of it as $50 (or 50 gold, or 5 mil, or whatever), think of it as a trade for a spurred Kirin or Raptor + $5 (or 5 gold, etc). That $5 pays for the limited edition, much cooler-looking mount that will probably be worth much, much more in the coming months - so it's an investment.

    So, how is this a rip-off, again?

    If you think it should be worth 30 gold or less, you are not being very realistic.

    A Kirin costs 30 gold, and is slightly slower. It is also not a limited offer; you can buy it at any time. It would be a poor business decision to price the Hellhound the same as the Kirin when the former is faster and will be gone from the cash shop in a week.

    And if you can only afford 30 gold, you should just buy a Kirin or Raptor and be happy. If you're not, you're probably just unhappy you can't afford the newest and shiniest toy from the cash shop.
