    I haven't done those and know I won't ever be able to from what I know on those bosses. However 1-3 isn't so tough if you know what you are doing. I've soloed it twice now but the second time nothing of value dropped at all.b:cry

    Its amazing what -12% channeling and a level 9 pet heal on a level 83 hercules can do.b:victory

    People don't realise how veno are already nerfed in many way. Do we have a decent stun ? No, a stun that doesn't always successed and that has 12 seconds cooldown, is not even AOE and last 3 seconds when maxed ain't something we can count on. Even worst, if your a fox form veno, you don't even have a stun.

    The only way for a veno to win a battle is to deal maximum damage before the oppenent reach them. If they reach us we are death. Even worst against archer they can reach us at far range and they have decent magic defense with light armor.

    We are like mage in PvP, but we deal less damage ... I'm pretty much seing venomancer has the worst PvP class.

    It is, but it's a GOD at PvE! >.< From what I hear, Venos will kill anyone in PvP with Bramble Hood. They could attack, but you can't hit back as a barb or a BM or you get 1 hitted. AND you have phoenix. So, it seems to me that this class has it all, how can everybody be saying it's balanced and not overpowered? The other classes have their place in a squad, but Veno IS a squad and more.

    I hope it's GOD at PVE, we have no PVP skill working properly. And the only reason why people say they are good at PVP is because of the bleed bugged skill. When it's gonna be fixed, what are we gonna have left for PvP ?

    We have all ? We have good stuns ? We have good damage ? We have good self-buff ? Most class have that, we have none !

    Give me anyone my level to pk against and I'll give them a run for their money. Phoenix eats anything in robes, Light armor is just a little tougher. Heavies can be trouble, but I can usually tank enough hits to do some damage.
    Yes the phoenix is a hax pet, but I did ok in pvp in my 70s too when i was still using a bee

    Venos may be the worst at PvP but I pity the TW guild who equips all their venos with nixes and tells them to fly around sending nixes at people.

    I don't think venos are particularly cheap in PvP just because of the nix but they do play an important role in TW.

    b:surrender quick note based on the last few pages here (addressing TameThat) Yes venos do have a stun in fox form it requires 1 spark to use it and it lasts awhile so long as 4 seconds is awhile. (addressing Leolf) venos are not God at anything pound for pound a cleric does much better at soloing things if they are willing to sacrifice money. No I am not talking about TT bosses. And honestly there are several ways to get past hood b:sad trust me they are used against me all the time. Barbs if you know that the veno is going to use hood turtle and make the bleed and wait the 15 seconds for things to wear off and then kill them. Bms all you have to do is stun em unless they are sage or demon its not hard to prevent their hood. And no bramble hood does not 1 shot anyone unless your life is completely dwarfed by your damage. b:victory trust me its not as bad as people make it out to be. But stop whineing yes they should put it back but they aren't going to can't help it. b:bye Can't get their attention get a bigger microphone.

    Bramble Hood has been nerfed. Supposedly it no longer works in PVP at all, removing even that as a momentary defense.

    I think that sucks, considering the skill is most useful in PvP. I guess it's a good skill for escaping mobs in PvE but I'd **** out if my winged shell thing stopped working against wizards :(

    So lets see, the phoenix is not enough eh? You gotta have working bramble hood AND pets that can solo HH and 1 shot everyone with bugged flesh realm?

    Bramble Hood is one of our skills. It not working would be like your Aeolian Blade not working properly...

    Aeolian Blade:Leap up and slam the enemy, dealing base physical damage plus 55% of weapon damage plus 281.5. Has a 23% chance to stun the enemy for 3 seconds.

    Here lets Nerf Aeolian Blade and remove the chance to stun completely from your skill but only in PVP it still works in PVE.

    Now do you understand?

    I am assuming you realize that most Veno's WANT flesh ream fixed, if for no other reason that to quite the QQ over it so I won't re-address that issue.

    Kinda doubt it because most people these days reroll veno only for phoenix lol.

    lol "most" is a pretty broad generalization. I doubt the number of Veno's with Phoenix's is even 1/100th of the population. Also nearly every Veno I have spoken too (not all, but pretty close) WANT Flesh Ream fixed.

    But do address the issue about Bramble Hood, which is what this topic is about, not Phoenix's.

    I don't think all that many venos want flesh ream bug fixed except those of you who have to listen to the whining on forums. BUT.

    Venos are NOT overpowered. The number of good skills they have suck compared to all other classes. They excel at nothing because they are able to do everything (well they excel at soloing because they are able to do everything). Jack of all trades =\= overpowered. Jack of all trades = they can do everything = they are very good at nothing. I appreciate the venos who help debuff and amp and wish the game can provide them with more good skills, and I'm sorry that people who love the flesh ream bug are ruining your chances of getting the improvements you deserve.

    He's saying that if you got a phoenix on lost city you'd always use flesh ream to pk so you would not want it fixed.

    I'm saying you want flesh realm fixed on LC because you don't like being pked by venos with phoenix because it takes the fun out of pvp. Unless of course you have a phoenix on LC as well(assuming you have pheonix on Sanc?), then I guess it's for you fun to 1 hit everyone.

    Hmmm.... pretty gross generalization. There is a lot more to PK than send in the Nix and use a Bugged skill although I am sure that is all some do. It's pretty fail if you ask me.

    That's kinda like saying an archer will always use stun arrow. It's a skill that works well so it's being used.

    some spell affects r just deemed OP by the developers i guess. i think we all know perfectly well how you can't knockback players. whether hood is OP in pvp or not should be the center of this discussion, and theres been too much of venos soloing and phoenix discussions thus making this thread lead nowhere.

    i think a proportion of 200% should be able to reflect, or maybe it just doesn't have to cost 2 sparks.

    I want Flesh Ream fixed because broken skills 'should' be fixed. I run a Veno on LC (as well as a BM) and I rarely use flesh ream at all except on some bosses and that is simply to facilitate the bosses demise. Also, Flesh Ream doesn't 1 hit everyone unless the owner is significantly higher level than the target and that is not PvP, that is lame kiddies scared to fight people their own level.

    I'm getting a phoenix tomorrow and I'm going to teach it bash. Provided I can come up with 2 million more coins in 24 hours or I get sold the last feathers I need at 1800 each since I can already afford that.

    Main topic here, bramble doesn't work in pk but it works in TW and such. Well then I don't give a **** I have all I need.

    @saitada, level a nix to 80, get level 5 flesh ream, and you'll see it does a ton of damage.

    @zoe, i don't get a lot of your decisions, and getting bash on a nix makes no sense either


    Yes I use flesh ream all the time in pvp, because it works great. And a lot of the time, I don't do damage myself. If i purge, nix does flesh ream, I amp while nix keeps attacking, a lot of the time the person is dead before I get back to caster form. It just happens that way sometimes.
