Well I use the logistics most philosiphers used. For example socrates and plato on their idealism on finding the one truth to everything. Also two of my favourite pre-socratics Parmenedes and Heraclitus, two scholars who constantly debated "Change" one denouncing change as an illusion and the other saying it was a natural course in life. ( I might have used the wrong names, theres quite a load of pre-socratics)

Ultimately there is no answer thats why I delve in so deeply, it also means that my posts in themselves are pointless, because I'm seeking answers no person can answer at least not now.

It helps me relax though contemplating such issues, more so then playing a game. Alas I never found someone who likes to talk about such things in such depth and for some reason I only get into such insight on topics on forums. Irl I think my ADHD gets the better of me and I just spaz ;D

Hence how my bi-sexual vibe has come to exist ;D

    Being weird frickin owns ;D

Hey Mystic. I'm going to make a hybrid archer. You know, enough STR for armor, enough DEX for weapon and free points in vitality. Would I still be good for PVP/PK?

In my opinion, a little bit of con (35 by level 50) is a good idea for an archer. But not much more. You can always restat it later, when your gear is plussed up so you can rely on that for hp.

You said you don't believe in honor and I couldn't care less since its not about "honor"

People that speak of honor are usually people with even less honor anyways. PK is just PK, same goes for PKK or PKKKKKK.. so on and so forth. No big deal for the PKer nor the victim.

However, I do not quite agree with calling anyone "carebear" for having reasons against fighting, nor PKer calling themselves "Pro". (I don't think I saw you call yourself that, but I plenty of PKer calls themselve that and it makes me laugh)

I PKed and PKKed my fair share in mmo and other versions of PW, but I have never once called someone a carebear, nor even refer to myself as "Pro".

Just as you don't accept the concept of honor in a game, I do not accept the concept of us PKer glorify ourselves as better players for PKing. it is basically the same as being good doing jump rope and declare ourselves king of the world on everything. LOL

I think i'll still go for the main hybrid. Since I was informed that the damage doesn't have much difference in PVP.

Reason is simply because damage is reduced by 75% when in PvP hence having a pure dmg build isn't really that wise. Considering the 2nd fact that most archer skill does fix damage + weapon damage and not percentage of weapon damage, this thus further reduce the advantage for having a pure dmg build. And for the 3rd factor, magic has 100% hit rate and archer that went demon path has 2 skill with 100% hit rate, making it more important to have hp pool.

Edit: Just in case, you'd want to know, I got that information from Spirit from asiapworld.com. He has made a pure and hybrid EA and got them to high levels, so I think he knows what he's talking about. LOL
    Check it out

Anyway, this may be off topic, but could I join RageQuit maybe? Though, I might not get on a lot (1-2 hours a day tops) it's gonna be a tough academic year for me.

Damage on MY-EN is reduced that far, but on certain other servers it's not as far. China, for instance, I believe is only 66%.

At the moment, RQ has basically closed recruitment. If you're serious about wanting to join us, send me a PM and I'll pass you our ventrilo, and you can hang out with us when OB starts. If you fit in with us, we'll take you.

Hmmm. What do you think the damage reduction will be on this server? I guess there's only one way to find out.

I might go with your idea if it feels convenient, but I'm considering this build because it would help in CS.CS looks very fun.

Ok, though I don't often fit in with others, I'll give it a shot.

I'm not much of a PvPer, or a PKer usually, to some extent I tend to discriminate.
    I'll get back to that.
From reading mystic's first post I immediately thought back to Ragnarok Online, the MMO I have the most experience with. Mind you I played on a mid-rate private server, both of them were rather large, one of them, being totally infested with BRs.
My style on server 1 (the one with all the BRs) was predominantly defensive. I had a high Vitality for an Assassin class which gave me a chance to get my bearings at the start of a surprise attack/gank and whomp the tar out of whoever was stupid enough to see me as a threat when I'm clearing paying them no attention. (I think my record number of multi-attackers was somewhere around 5-6 most of them being ranged fighters.)
On server 2 I was a camper. Meaning I'd stand in one spot, and anyone who crossed my field of vision got wasted on sight. (unless of course they were part of an allied guild). For the most part, Server 2 will be used for references below. :o

mystic made some good related points.
Carebears - Yeah, my guild was mostly carebears, but I changed that when I maxed out a ninja class character and beefed him up with some items that literally made magic classes useless against me in a fight and started slagging half the server one day. For three days my entire guild was pretty much KoS'd by all the other guilds and they immediately retaliated, finding out their characters were a lot stronger than they thought.

Most carebears get their attitude not from being too... merciful I guess is a more PC word, but from being too concerned that their characters can't do anything or hold their own in PvP.
Let me just say, chill out, its a game, and every ounce of e-gloating doesn't mean squat in the real world. That being said let me follow this up with "Being a Good Loser"

It happens, you forget to buff, they surprise you, they're twenty levels over you with items you'll never see, your computer lagged hard. Whatever the reason, we all lose once in a while and its important to take it all in stride. If you can't take a little gloating from your attacker, you might as well quit now, its gonna happen, and if you get uppity about it, you're only giving them what they want, which is mainly lulz.

This is what my brother and I as guild leaders would do at the end of WoE, win or lose (WoE is RO's version of TW)

We'd gather up with our guild in the main town area and e-whoop and hollar causing all sorts of other guilds to talk trash or wonder why we were happy we lost, whereupon we'd broadcast our own form of gloating to the server, they usually went something like this: "GG guys, good WoE, Random Guild 1 you guys almost got us this time :D"
    They hated that. :D
Most PKers are gonna keep PKtrolling you if you cry about it. So, enjoy it, you learned your character stand up to an archer, alright, so what are you gonna do about it? Carry on like a five year old? No, you roll with your homies from that point on. If you don't have homies, you best make some friends and stick by them 'till you're confident enough that you can take people on in a duel. Even if its one other person, that's one other person to watch your 6 for ya. Otherwise you're fodder even to me, and I play a Blademaster. :D

if a guide ever tells you to leave your strongest skill at level one it fails. It also says not to level Thundershock which is a necessary skill for killing WB or WR.

    Okay

Max out your stun as soon as you can.

    Never buy thunderbird

Max-out Wing Shield as soon as you can

Max-out your buff as soon as you can

Max out sharptooth as soon as you can if you want to run HH to get EQ that isnt horrible.

I would stop leveling deadlyshot after you get your HH weap.

EDIT: its not so much skills he said where good when they're not, he just didnt seem to see the full potential of most of the EAs skills.
