    Hmmm... that skill diagram reminds me of the chinese element system. This is just a guess, but maybe these runes will have the same system? You know... "fire rune" goes well against the "metal rune" and so on.

    Agreed, think Diablo 3 system which is also mentioned by Chinese players in their forums, each rune-enhanced skill adds a different effect and also MAY changes its element.

    For example: Diablo 3 Meteor Skill, Deals 740% fire damage.
    Runes:
    Thunder Crash, changes element to lighting , lowers delay of impact.
    Star Pact: Changes to Arcane, Increases the area, consumes all arcane power (mana), increases damage accordingly.
    Comet: Changes damage to Cold, freezes and chill targets, increases damage they take over time.
    Meteor Shower: Meteor changes into 7 smaller meteors, each deal 277% instead.
    Molten Impact: damage increases to 1648% as Fire, increases the area by a large amount, adds 15 second cooldown.

    That is the kind of changes I am expecting, but we don't know yet, lets wait for the client and Asterelle can surely extract the information for us.

    Sounds great, I like the element change so my cleric can still deliver damage to those who use Heart of steel genie skill.

    That's super interesting just no fire damage for other arcanes please :o otherwise GGWP with more sb debuff stacks D: jk jk that would mix things up. I do hope classes like bm and db get some type of element added to skills but for all form of atks not just melee

    arena rule: X-server (pk ppl for all servers)
    3v3 (max 5ppl in sq) , 6v6 (max 10 ppl in sq), 10min limit, at least 10 rounds for sq credit.
    you can make sq outside and sign up or auto match sq if you sign up alone.
    can not buff outside of arena. full chi when start.
    win: kill all or according survive/dmg made
    def/att pill cd is independent other pill.
    6 ranks according to credits.
    opponent match will be made according credits
    credits can reward arena coins, coins can exchange title, consumable things(maybe charm/pill), gear(not sure what gear)

    i think match in arena has some balance issues according to ppl credits

    some ppl has good gear, but maybe low credits if they don't play much.

    those ppl has to one shot ppl enough to earn enough credit to fight high credit ppl.

    just like NW, not easy to find a balance fight. 2 hours NW, maybe just 2-3 good fights. most of cases just crashed or crashing.

    the developer said in future, arena will have fair fight function, means ppl only has the same stat(but diff with diff class) , that will be much better. but who know when this function will be realized

    PWI has its "internal world clock", which I believe is what they are going to be using for this. This is a total stab in the dark but day lasts like 2h of real time.

    Guys remember there's no point talking about this arena, it's X-server and not viable to be implemented on PWI, same as with current tourney. Hopefully they can put the reward items from arena in cash shop at least so we can have access to them.

    I'm looking forward to the customization with skills - but it will probably be quite expensive. I like that they're deciding not to upgrade armors, since most people aren't going to re-shard/enchant an entire new set of armors.

    By releasing Atk lv/Def lv +3 shards, it's the same as a re-shard, twice, if the needed stones are the same as before.

    Any x-server Pvp event can't be implemented because of PvE servers ?

    No, timezone issues, at least in the case of xtourney. 2pm est/11am pst on a weekday is not feasible for NA servers.​​

    Man, on one hand...Huge freaking map to roam and lots of potential lore to go with it
    On the other...I can already feel the grind and imagine the "best" runes either being in packs or the Cash Shop
    Meanwhile, any gaps in gear imbalance will never be addressed in a good way and only widened.

    I really want to be excited for this, but its hard with the current state of affairs.

    PvP arenas I've seen in other games are available all day. I would find it a bit weird for them to make it a 1-2 hour event per week when they already have the cross-server tournament. It's not the same thing, I know, but still sort of similar. If the arena is available all day, then it's possible for them to implement it in PWI too, though I believe it would be unavailable during the time the NA and EU servers are on different dates.

    Well, I'm not saying we should have our hopes high. I don't expect much, but I don't want to disregard it just yet when we don't have that much information. monkey-2.gif

    I think it is available all day long, except Wed. 12am-8am for calculating credit and sending arena coins .

    BTW, no class repeat in arena.

    What's the point revamping an instance that has no purpose for farming anything useful, it will just make it harder for new players.

    They really need to update the engine a.s.a.p instead of updating useless thing, for me pve in this game has no fun at all, there is no satisfying feel like killing monster in a **** and slash game, even the reward is not rewarding enough, remove the limitation for doing daily stuffs and this game actually has no content. Even the bosses/monsters are using old assets.

    I like the Lunar Glade, I always thought the most beautiful instance of the game, and always so badly used... So do not think useless the idea of making a revamp. I even think it took to happen.

    And if there will be a revamp in the instance, it is logical means to be for something more useful than it is today, right?

    Of all the new features announced so far, this was the one I liked.

    Let's hope they also revamp rewards from instances instead of just changing around mobs.

    And as if lunar glade didn't have enough mobs to deal with as it was, it looks like they didn't just change mobs, but also looks like there's more of them. tiger-18.gif​​

    do we know already if the map expansion is really part of the main map, or if it's something like primal/momaganon/lothranis maps where you access them through porting?

    And I agree, they need to stop with all the fancy skill animations when the game is desperately in need for an engine upgrade first.

    I feel like this might also build combos like the Duskblade skills... I guess this would explain the new skill bar (if it is indeed a new skill bar). If that is the direction they are taking, then the video demonstration we saw with the new engine might not be that unlikely.
    I'm just speculating of course, so don't take this as a fact.

    I'm really intrigued by the new system to the skills, but a bit let down on seeing that the new zone's map is not part of the main map.
    Unless you have to unlock the zone inbetween?

    There's definitely areas to unlock, but I don't know if they connect to the rest of the map or it's a Primal World case.
