Yep, and underlying issue that needs to be fixed. Foundry authors get really cool, unique rewards for making quests. People should get really cool, unique rewards for playing them

Great job on the stream! Everyone should watch it!

Glad you enjoyed the worlds the foundry can create. It really is a great tool. We just wish Cryptic would incentivize PLAYING and/or MAKING them, then it'd be a fantastic tool. =D

This makes me have an idea.... would take some Dev Magic. Or a super dedicated author.

Would it be possible to combine several of these into one Foundry sponsored by Cryptic? Start in a central hub room and players can journey to the different maps. To showcase some of the abilities of the foundry to entice and encourage new authors. Not a how-to. A showcase.

But combine it as a official tutorial for foundry players. Where before players can do quests in the foundry catalog, they have to complete this tutorial where they learn explicitly the limitations of foundry authors (end chest loot anyone), how to search and review quests, other things.

A playable, Cryptic sponsored Foundry quest that can educate and appeal to aspiring authors and players alike, by using player generated content.

Thank you everyone!! It was a pleasure to be able to create something that showed what can be created in the foundry, and some of the reviews that i received have made me feel truely happy about being a builder. I've created stuff before in other games but this is truely the first item that i have ever released into the public and my first foundry release to boot and I could not be more proud of it.

I did have a much larger scope in mind for the actual quest, but the scale of what I did create, completely dwarved the time alotted us, and for the most part the second map was about 80% complete and i was lucky enough to somewhat give it a finished result before time was up.

For those who didnt catch it or just overlooked it, the second map was my version of Elah'Zad, due to over farming of the waters and the relentless pursuit of others to know the secret to its rejuvenative properties, the powers that be magically removed it from the world of Faerun along with the waters source, into a magical dimension, hidden away from the rest of the known realms.

Every now and then, only the bravest and worthiest of adventurers were given a mysterious and magical hint to the location of old Elah'Zad and the portal access left behind, giving them a once in a lifetime chance to enter the portal, and giving the chosen adventurer a chance to pull a vial of elah'zad from the magical chest, so they could bring it back with them into Faerun. That was to be the reasoning about opening the quest chest at the end.

But in the end I ran out of time before i could implement any of that into the quest itself. Anyways thanks for playing my quest and great job to everyone else who took part in this great contest. Deiterate, you deserved this win just as much as me, you made a completely unique quest with lots of neat tricks. And everyone else did a great job aswell, it was a pleasure to play all the entries. Just know it wasnt about the AD for me so I will be splitting the whole pot among all the entrants.

It was very nice to meet you in the Livestream. I think I can speak for many of us when I say we'd love to do it again.
