We need to lock access to all shards for a brief moment in order to resolve the issue with Dragon. I don't believe that this will affect players who are already logged in, but please be aware that you may experience login issues on all shards for the next few moments. We'll keep you updated on the progress!
That was faster than expected. I went to reply in a thread I started. It was closed and redirected here in just a few minutes. lol Thanks for the update/info/attempts to fix.
Can you elaborate on the issue you are trying to fix on Dragon ? That would be nice.
Does it matter? As long as its not an in-game issue, which it probably is not (due to how suddenly the shard went down) otherwise they would have said something, then its not relevant.
ETA would be welcome, of course, but that's a separate issue.

Currently the only information available is that it went down unexpectedly. We're troubleshooting the root cause and working to bring the shard back online ASAP. Most likely, troubleshooting and investigation will persist after the shard is brought back online, and if any opportunities to update the code or infrastructure are identified, they will generally be scheduled for a future maintenance with the details shared via the patch notes. Cheers!
I hope it's not some attack on servers which happens in other games from time to time.
Those are Distributed Denial of Service attacks. They are highly unlikely to be a cause here because the servers were functioning perfectly before they/Dragon suddenly went down, including in busy Dungeon Delve period that had just ended. DDoS attacks first degrade a service, often over a long period, before forcing it offline.
