Cant talk to npc after patch

every npc in game when u press F at him just shows black screen

    Aye same problem whit NPC:s emphty dialog boxes and then there it also after patchin that horrible rubberband lag! :-(

    So far i've tried a repair, changing graphical options and changing the ui.

    Guyz This Actualization have too many problems, i can talk with the Npc's but..Cant use 5 skills from my Class Devoted Cleric..

    Cant use my 1,2 And daunting light, Chains light.. Astral seal...

    its rly buged the patch.

    Yup same here - can't accept or initiate queststs.
    Also can't escape through cut scenes.

    Additoinally Character history info is being deleted all the time. :(

    I have all blank quest screens and have to close the game to get out.

    I am having the same issue with my characters too. 17th level is stuck in Troubled Times since once you summon the dialog box you have to kill the session, "esc" doesn't release the box. Other higher level characters (60) in Protected Enclave only show black dialog boxes but "esc" does kill the dialog box.

    A quick fix seems to change the keyboard settings in Windows to straight US and reboot the game. Note sure if you can change them back or not to original settings.

    Hardware problem? Drivers problem?!?!
    I have 2 PC (me and my wife)
    First one (mine): i7-Quad, Nvidia 560, 16Gb Mem. -> everything good, chat screen ok, quest screen ok ecc...
    Second one (my wife's): Old Quad, Nvidia 560, 4Gb Mem -> chat screen, quest screen, ... all blank!

    I have compressed my version (in my PC) and overwrote all in the second pc.. nothing, all blank.

    If she plays from my PC with her character, she has chat screen, quest screen and everything OK!!! While if I play with my char on her pc I have all blank too...

    Same, can't interact with NPC - Black Screen. Also the very first Quest NPC

    same issue:( waited to be able to play after maintance,and now this dissapointment.strange thing is,my girlfriend sitting next to me on her pc and everything works fine there,even i run a better system than hers....
    hope it gets fixed soon,was already gething pissed because of all the random dc's when entering or exiting buildings,and now this:(

    Same issue. Cannot open any dialogue box without getting stuck.

    All NPCs, contacts, traders etc etc

    English (UK)

    This occurs with all npc's. I am using English language.

    im playing English version and im only having the issue with NPC's in the "Troubled Times" quest

    gething stuck is not the problem,just click next to the textbox,than you see the title turning yellow,than click "escape" and you can move again-but questing without quests is kinda pointles:(
