I attempted to login and was greeting with this email confirmation screen. I went to check my email for the code they say is there and there is no new email. I have recieved all my emails from PWI regarding my pre-order and I turned off my spam filter. I checked my spam folder. I have logged in several times and gotten nothing. It has been ten minutes.

I'm getting the same - can't download, can't use anything other than the forum - I don't mind doing crowdfunding but expect a bit more foresight from the developers. It would be good to run a test next weekend too for those of us struggling (they are 8 hours behind my timezone at least as well so already bedtime here).

https://my.perfectworld.com/nw/redeemkey. Does that page list all the products or Founder's Packs?

Sounds like you're waiting for the account guard email.

Great idea and i tried it, but in some cases it requires a verification email to manage it... kind of counter intuitive if you are not recieveing them.

The account guard also fails in my STO account. When I try to verify the email no email is sent.

To add insult to injury the Account Guard system worked back in November of last year when I updated my account so I could register for this beta test. It verfied the same machine at the same ip# via the same email. WoW! What a system you have here Cryptic.

I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I spent the last few days making sure all my ducks were in a row so I could enjoy as much of this limited beta as I could. I paid $60 to get into this short beta and now that money is being wasted by their incompetance. The system that is supposed to protect against theft is preventing the account owner(s) from playing the game. The support person who responded to my frist support ticket gave me a form response and didn't even bother to read the initial post, thus wasting two hours of my time. This is pathetic support and a terrible system.

Yeah im trying to figure out how to get my 200 back. This is <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>, I didn't pay that much money to have problems, I paid to play not spend all weekend fishing the forums for a solution.

It has been 2 hours and 40 minutes and these guys can't figure out how to send me an email. This is just pathetic.

Ok, get this, now my inbox gets flooded with emails from my login attempts and now the launcher says 'too many login attempts please try again later', this would be funny if it wasn't so infuriating.

It is now 7 hours and 43 minutes of not being able to log in because of their terrible log in protection systems and their lack of customer support. Thank you for ruining my experience.

I too did not automatically get a confirmation code. After following your instructions, logging into my STO account to get to the Account Guard system it did send an access code. Actually, it sent 3 e-mails with the same access code. If we need to access the Account Guard system there should be a link from the Neverwinter account page, not just STO or Champions. Also they need to do a better job of getting the initial confirmation code e-mail out. BTW, I did log out of the Neverwinter website, clear my cache, then tried logging back in several times, which did not help at all.

It took them almost 20 hours to get to this and fix my account. All of the problems were on their end, I had done nothing wrong. They get a F on this one. I lost the entire first day of the beta weekend all due to their horrible Account Guard system. All this system did was prevent me from playing my game and protect them from my complaints and frustration. The Account Guard system is there for THEIR protection and convience, not ours.

Trying for hours to receive the mail; it keeps arriving when the time to insert the code has expired. Now the games does not let me in because i've tried to log in too many times. I know this is a beta, but this is not a game bug or something; this an account problem, a PW problem. I've paid for this beta and I think I can PRETEND to enter in game.

Same here.. Email address ok in arc, arc client sends emails fine. But no email when trying to login via steam.
  • nyterazor#4638 nyterazor Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 40 Arc User
First I had to enter a code for steam that was emailed to be since it said it didn't recognize my computer. Then I launched Neverwinter, logged in, and it sent me a code to my e-mail (not in spam folder). Basically you have to do the Steam part first then Neverwinter. When I did Neverwinter first, I didn't receive the code.

I downloaded Arc, and after downloaded Neverwinter. Arc was fine. Verified my account, and all emails worked with Arc. When I went to play Neverwinter it asked for my email confirmation, which I never received. So I tried through Steam. Downloaded Steam, and verified that with no issues. Launched Neverwinter. Neverwinter again asked for my verification code, which was never emailed to me.

My friend had the same problem, if you are starting neverwinter via Steam, try using the gameclient exe instead, that fixed it for him.

Welp, finally got those codes from yesterday... not much use now. However, on trying the client this morning, their server was on the ball and sent that code post haste.

    I'm in! :)

I'm in the same boat. I received one about 12 hours later. Done wasting my time here. I was debating between returning to Neverwinter or ESO....guess this made my decision for me.

Hi folks! It looks like certain domains were having issues delivering emails. We have been in contact with the domain holders and it should be cleared up now.
