i don't like the idea that invoking doesn't give ad anymore. instead giving a boost to ad you earn. i liked that the fact that i could just invoke on my alts and have them sit the rest of the day, now i actually have to play them. i guess i wont be doing anything on my alts now.
Quote Invocation now gives a Rough AD bonus instead of granting Rough AD directly. The bonus Rough AD awarded is moderately larger than what was previously granted as straight Rough AD. General Invoking while playing other Rough AD generating activities will see a reasonable increase in AD earned, while Invoking only will see a drastic decrease.
i had heard that invoking was gonna get a bonus to it. but all i heard was that if you do nothing but invoke you will gain more ad. now i see this message saying that, if i just invoke i will gain even less ad and its in a form of a boost.
Quote Invocation: There is now a small UI indicator underneath the character portrait when a player has bonus AD similar to when there is bonus Glory, this is to support the related Invocation changes.
in my opinion @strumslinger this is a really bad idea. now instead of gaining ad on my alts they are going to get a bonus to any ad they earn; and they earn 0 ad a day so they are gonna get nothing. not sure if you can anything but if possible have they rethink this or take it out of the patch notes.
Increased the base damage of this power by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 10% DPS increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase. Now properly reports that it has a 60' range. Previously, the UI reported 40'. Overall damage further increased by ~33%. This power will now dissipate if it hits 10 total targets along its path. Total activation time reduced to 1.5s, down from 2s. This allows you to move much more quickly after the power has fired.
very nice with the damage increase. why did their have to be a 10 target limit, was very useful to go on until it hit a wall or until its timer ran out. the daily power is already hard to use and does great damage for the skill required to use it. and the best time to use it is when theirs either a boss to hit it 3-4 times or 15-20 creatures to hit each 3-5 times. so now it wont last long anymore.
Quote Oak Skin: The tooltip now properly reports the total amount this power heals you for over the duration of the buff
can you also have the tooltip say how much defense we are getting.
The item level for the Tier 3 dungeon should be lower, say 2600 Item level.. , people going to have to get mythic items and artifact equipment to go to the tier 3 dungeon which will take very long for people that play without buying Zen!
I forget to mention that Hadar's Grasp wasn't getting the damage bonus from warlock's curse, instead it gets a weird 3,8% more damage for every tick up to 27% on final tick. You close the feedback thread way too fast
Quote Thorned Roots: The damage over time component of this power no longer has its duration reduced by control resistances, nor is its duration increased by control bonuses. If you apply Thorned Roots to a target, then all of the ticks of damage will apply to them, even if the Root effect is removed earlier. Targets that are completely immune to Roots still get the individual burst of damage instead of the DoT.
question) if the dot is not affecting immune targets, then does that mean the damage of thorned roots ticks do more damage? this i don't understand really. how do you make all the ticks go off at once? like gushing wounds i guess? not sure
also, was it necessary to remove the thorned roots dot being affected by control bonus? i know the dot is not a control and it makes sense that it should not be affected; but was their any real need to remove it?

in live, the tooltip is "if a target is control inmune you do 450% more damage to them in addition to the DoT." , now is the same but without the DoT.

It's actually very hard. I doubt that anyone below 3.1k ilvl can make a decent contribution to the new dungeon.

Dunno why but it almost feels like these 3 classes got broken via overbuffing their damage potential. Even the GF while supposedly nerfed seems like it will be doing similar to mod 9 if not higher damage.

Increased speed by 15%. Now provides damage immunity for 1 second after activation, and loses 20% damage resistance per second while it is active, down to a minimum of 40% (this timer persist through rapid reapplications). Now starts off granting 60% damage resistance when activated. This value then decreases by 5% every 0.5s, down to a minimum of 40%. This value is maintained between rapid reapplications."
I think you put the previous changes to shadow slip and the current change both into the notes... cuz otherwise I'd like to know how it can start at 100% damage resistance and also start at 60% and reduces 20% per second and also 5% every 0.5s????
I'd like to know which change you guys decided on putting live XD

Alts aren't meant for invoking, but to play and explore other classes, races, and play styles. What you're doing isn't what's intended to happen. You gotta 'PLAY'. I totally support the change.

well thank you for that, i like hearing other peoples opinions. i would rather it not feel as though they are forcing people to play but encourage it. like instead of removing rough ad and giving a buff. transfer say 10% to the buff of the rough ad we get and let us keep getting ad from invokes.
basically what you are saying is that the people who make 10+ characters for bag space or bank space or guild bank space are not playing right? the game is intended to be played the way you want it played, for your entertainment and for you to have fun. i make alts for extra ad small but over time helpful.
People I know are saying item 3100 for the tier 3 dungeon is too much.., it will probably be 6 months before I can get Mythic Artifacts and legendary epic weapons and off hand. Can we get word from the devs that this will be looked into, 6 months is a long time!

6 months is untrue, that apply only for casual players that play once and then, then yes 6-12 months is realistic, but for a real gamer that spend 2-4h every day into it, then you can do everything within 2 months, I have some friends that started a new char from scratch and levelled to 70 and finished all boons and main equip within 3 months.
But yes Neverwinter the way it's done is not made for casual gamers.

The rest of the GWF changes are missing, as well as a fix for the DC's Weapons of Light looping and stacking with bondings, companions and other DCs. Also, Disintegrate on CW was supposed to get an arcane stack.

POM and TOD have no min IL and ppl que up with 400 IL. A failing chance to contribute never kept them from letting ppl join a que group.

And why can people have 50+ character slots on their account? You can't seriously believe that anyone would actively play more than say one of each class.

yes indeed. i agree that people play the way they want and have alts for their purpose. banks or ad farming or whatever the player chose that alts role.
