Now Available: Underdark Campaign Completion

The Underdark is no place for mere mortals. Valiant warriors and genius mages have entered yet failed to survive even one day in the unforgiving environment below us. It is... interesting?... questionable?... predictable?... that Underdark completion which is relatively unproblematic (and the books are going down in price steadily and will probably drop further now) is available but Cryptic is still unwilling to put in an option to throw money at the issue of needing 80 Linu's Favors for the final Tyranny boons. Of course, people who've been picking away at that for the last two years probably wouldn't want to buy a boost for it now because it would involve admitting those efforts were wasted.... (I suspect it might be held up by a corporate attitude that the usual $50 simply is not enough when you're getting 7! boons instead of only 5, but that players would flip tables over what the suits *think* it should cost.)

Noticed a strange display thing with Gateway's Zen store interface. I'm totally done the IWD campaign on many characters but they still have the option to buy the booster, whereas I couldn't buy most of them the UD booster if I wanted to, even though they don't have all the boons and many haven't even entirely filled the progress bar. Shar and DR boosters appear to be working properly (can buy if not done, cannot buy otherwise).

5000 ZEN to buy a completions of one single campaign you already completed once on a char is OUTRAGEOUS. They should be account unlocks once you finished them the first time. This is why I still only have ONE char and been playing since BETA.

eh, Campaign progress is a personal thing. A character shouldn't get the benefit because someone else did it first.

Slippery slope there my friend. I'm not totally for account wide boon unlocks, but I'm totally against having to do it all over for every character as if you started fresh. At the very least make the campaign items BoA so you can push a character through faster, or maybe an item to increase the amount of campaign currency given per quest that can only be bought with said currency.

There is a precedent for this in the game with artifacts, and there used to be a precedent of this with IWD access (the precedent of other toons on your account helping you).

I knew this was coming, and not having a TOD one available first is a joke, but whatever. Only whales by this.

Out of curiosity, what is the trigger that makes the UD completion booster available. In other words, why are some toons able and some toons unable to "purchase/use" it?

Might I suggest the ability to transfer campaign currency to other chars?
Something along the lines of "if you can buy gold crescents with fomo concoctions, you can buy fomo concoctions with gold crescents".
I'd even settle for a loss in trade if it meant it would allow me to use my "useless" currency on other chars.

you have to have already completed this campaign at least once the regular way, to be able to use this item, correct?

if not, this concerns me.

Fomorian Concoctions can be exchanged between characters via mail. Crescents can be donated to the guild coffer as Fey currency.

EE campaign is only bad for toons that bypassed the content because it wasnt there. For leveling players i bet its pretty decent.
