I agree with the ability to turn off XP as the best solution. The Foundry and Dailies means that you won't get stuck without the ability to level up after you're done with an area and could give way for things like helpful mid-level crafters for the auction.

Actually, green and purple pair well together. Personally, I like it. However, I wonder if it would look better if the green and purple switched places on the outfit.

From reading your sig it seems you aren't making any more updates which is a shame since I think this works quite well. I agree that the initial skeleton should be moved away from the campfire since I missed it the first time as well. Not level 15 yet so I haven't started building Foundry missions yet but from my experience with Mission Architect back when City of Heroes was still open I can see a lot of work went into this.
