Taking a step back at classic D&D rules, there are 9 core classes, archer, thief, cleric, wizard, fighter, monk, bard, druid, and paladin. NW was started with 4th Ed rules and during the first year, became a hybrid with 5th Ed rules. As long as the story, game, and adventure content is fun and engaging, I think more will…
Well, I haven't finished the update to Ravenloft, but I did see the image. It does imply the druid and incanter being adversaries than a new class. Yet, the FB page didn't wish wash about a class not coming in the near future eight. :)
If you consider that the "vampyre" is the first mystic/infernalist, a druid or bard would be a decent class in opposition of not just vampyres, but the collection of villains from Valindra across to the Yuao-ti. The twisting parts flail around where to have CW/SW fit in the battlefield. The 'classic' fireball, 'burning…
BSOD usually gives a line of data for where in the system code it happened. Error code, app name, memory addresses active The App name will indicate a system file, device file, or program file. I would change the virtual memory usage to a flat amount of 4095, and bring up the game with default settings. A game client error…
Well, I hadn't taken notice, because the Guild Hall structures need the Glory acquired to build the PVP structures for the 10+ combats. The Guild builds do cause some issues, when the needed completions aren't conveyed with some reasonable layout descriptions.
Being in a Guild puts pressure on to get the Guild level up to get the member boost for ll guild members. Other considerations make getting RP's to increase your enchantments to boost your total IL
Reminder: the total Item Level still needs to be 10K or higher. I found a GF and GWF can get off the Soshenstar river beach with a total IL around 9500. It's hard, but the strategy in Chult is still about having a total IL over 10K.
First off, the total Item Level is 10K or higher, to run the Chult. Then, your item and gear score come into play. Yo can run dungeons and skirmishes to acquire enough Seals to pick up your class specific armor artifacts. Thn, take the Festival in Bryn Shandar to open the Assault on Svardborg. It'll tale a while to finish,…
The scaling process causes some hiccups with potions as well. It can be gotten around by teaming u ith another PC at the level needed, your in't there.
Candelaria is tougher at higher levels, part of the map scaling. If you take her on between level 60 and 64, she an be beaten solo. Attacking her was strategic shots from a distance to up close melee. When your PC is 65 or higher, it will take a pair to bring her down, with alternating attack distance.
A "songsaber" bard would make for a cool class addition. An offset would be a "dancing" blade would be a more generic form of the minstrel through Sybella's store. There would be and awesome addition. :)
I have crafted 5 companions for each PC. Using online language K have 5+ Elven names,5 Dwarven ames, tne remaining hybryd names. I'll list them out, when I get the list out.
I'm compelled to say next Mod, because we'll be in 2019 for its rollout. The current companions in the Zen store and lockboxes have some decent forms for Bards and Druids. They would make for a decent class combo to bring in 2 new classes. :)
Having done the original Ravenloft L1-10 back in the pen-n-paper days, it is nice for the devs to finish what had been announced some time ago. I like the deck for the standard card deck size including the pair of Jokers. pens the door for a little dark humor akin to taro cards.
The "planescape" layout can be connected off of NW with a variant of what Ravenloft traveling thru the mists is bringing. The twist that I see revolves back to the story compatibility hooking to the new spaces, thinking spatial gate n Full-metal Alchemist. There may still be a happy medium, in here for NW.
Definitely story and adventure fan of NW, I am always watching for the new story content. I had some fun with the Foundry, but the amount of work becomes a reasoning for patience on the part of us, the players.
All valid points of view, I see. The quintessential thrust is choice. When Makos had the spat with Xuna in Bryn Shandar, we didn't get any sound bites there, but Makos was still pacifying Xuna. With the given nature of tieflings, there are a couple of avenues for story content stepping out of Chult. Naturally/unnaturally,…
Mostly ready for Ravensloft, I didn't have much n the of interruptins from an accident. Hospital to doctor to medical treatments have been the regiment of the past month. The game nd forums have been my biggest break and get away from all of that.
Thanks for the 4E clarification. When I crafted my first PC here, I was reading the 5E rule set, and took some of my play queues from there and what the dev's crafted here for us. The shift to 5E opened the duality that we have with the existing classes with two paths instead of three. To me, a higher "lord" feature path…
I concur with agilesto on that. A slashing approach works when the focus of each PC was to max out the key stats for everyone to hack 'n' slash, which seems to me as PVP'ing all the time and not much different from typical military shooters. Sword and sorcery battle mechanics takes a lot of work on both sides with the…
Have to disagree here. The spreading from Level 6o upward opened the door for new story content and modules 6 through 10, if I remember correctly. There was and is a level of comffusion in all those changes/tweaks, including attack level changes to item levels, AC references to gear level, total item level ratings. So,…
Interesting information, this is, but all tieflings have blood pacts. Makos's does pose the question of his freedom, following the Jungles of Chult. Plus, there is the multiverse angles of the Nine Hells and Neverwinter. I'd say there could be a couple adventure zone storylines running through there.
"Lifecycle" is an interesting perspective. 6 years, with 13+ modules, sounds like a very strong game world to me. Since no company out there will share such numbers on their income, it will probably take posts and comments like these to get the dev, admin, and content folks to carry our inspirations to the powers that be.…
