It's D&D in name only, for much of the game. Yes they have drow, and it's called neverwinter, they use the name nashers, neverember - they have Deekin street and goblins and orcs and it is a fun game, it ain't D&D though, not the same at all...as the other poster stated, the in game lore will get you through.

anyone else? Currently in that first little quest area in protector's enclave, tried to target a mob and she just cast MM again, I tried over and over to cast bolt and she would only cast the missile, this is very frustrating

Thanks :) My TR works fine <shrug> the mouse is wired and clean so I know it's not a hardware issue. I see there's an auto aim feature but the character like randomly decides to cast missle or bolt/beam. Is there a built in ai that does this? And I found a thread from 2011 on STO's forum that the PWE mod called it the "hidden screen bug" lol, apparently it's a known issue with pwe games?

Because farming 400,000 AD only takes 2 weeks of 8 hours a day playing. Stop insulting people by trying to make it sound easy Seriously, I can sit here on a Saturday and Sunday (assuming I have the 8 hours each day) and end up with maybe 15k AD, questing all day, running profession missions, crafting as well. Well said, like in SWTOR for example, even though for a few months I was a f2p'er I still made gobs of credits with professions ans the ah and questing, not so much in this one. Good distinction

Thanks everyone! Yeah I don't mind spend real life money for some things, I really don't. I just wanted to make sure I understood how it was set up. Seems like the key is to get to 60 and raid or do dailies, etc which is fine, I really like the game so far :)
